Refund is hard to get and they take 50% of your money.

Orthopaedic Product is cheap and made in China. I received a faulty product and was forced to accept a 50% refund after many emails.

They did refund 50% but I could not use the product, so lost my money.

See email below from customer service.

Dear customer

Sorry for keeping you waiting.

We know that you are not satisfied with the compensation we provided earlier. We offer you a refund of 36.54AUD, but you can still keep the product. What do you think?

You know we have incurred a lot of losses in making this decision. But we still hope you can keep this product. You can choose to donate this product to those in need or give it to friends and family who have the right shoes. We will arrange a refund for you as soon as we receive your confirmation of consent.

Best regards,
lvy

Do not purchase any items from this website!

Do not purchase any items from this website. Despite having a well-laid-out and clear website (which is deceptive), they are all charlatans! While searching for barefoot trainers on Google, I came across their site. Their images looked legitimate, and their easy-to-select sizing was convincing. Although the prices were cheaper than what you might find in a store, the pair I chose to purchase was on sale, so the discount price seemed legitimate.

I made my purchase at the beginning of April. By the end of April, after receiving no updates, I contacted their customer service. I was bounced between their customer service and the local China courier they used, with no one taking responsibility for my paid but undelivered item. They have refused to send a replacement or issue a refund, simply washing their hands of the matter.

I have reported them to Fair Trading NSW and will attempt to reclaim the money through my bank. I urge more people to report these websites and post feedback, as it truly helps others. I wish I had seen such warnings before making my purchase.

DO NOT BUY FROM GEEKHUBIS

This is a scam company. It says they ship from the USA but the receipt has a Chinese name. Shoes took forever to arrive and when they did, they were the worst quality shoes I've ever seen! Like dress up clown shoes! Nothing like the picture. They were not orthopedic shoes (which was what I ordered) and they were 2 sizes too big! Even though the website had a chart and said they were true to size! I paid via credit card but on my bank statement it was through PayPal. I emailed back and forth with the Geekhubis for a few weeks about a refund. First time, They offered me 30% back and said that I should donate them to charity! Second time was 40% And they said give the shoes to a friend! 3rd time I was offered $41.99 back, (shoes were $59.99) I went to the bank and requested a charge back. I sent one more email informing Geekhubis that I had been to the bank and they should honour their refund policy. Within a week they had refunded the full amount! Writing this review to save someone wasting their time! For those who already have... go to the bank!! Report them!! Don't stop emailing them til you get your money back! So sick of these scammers!!!

Rip off company - DON'T BUY FROM THEM!

I bought shoes from Geekhubis that were falsely advertised as "orthopedic" and of a uniform red colour. But when I got them they are not supportive or orthopedic at all -and not even 1 red colour, the sole is a different, lurid red. I asked for a refund which they refused, and told me they'd refund me 15%. After many more requests, they've offered me a 30% refund if I damage the shoes and send them photos of this. I've never been asked to do such a bizarre thing by a company as this - to cut up/dirty/wreck new shoes in order to get my money back (which is only $59.99) I see from scores of bad reviews that this is their modus operandi - quick to take the money, but to refuse to refund it for shoddy rubbish products. I've been forced to do a dispute resolution with Paypal to try to get my money back. They should be banned from importing their crap into Australia.

These shoes are Rubbish

The one is because I actually received them. They are really cheap rubbish shoes and definitely not orthopaedic as advertised. I am making a complaint to our state (NSW Aust) consumer protection board. They are flat no arches no support at, stiff as a board and just plain junk.

ROBBERY

This mob are the most unprofessional company I have dealt with. We put in an order for 7 pair of shoes, all arrived the wrong size. After 2 months of emails and every email taking up to a week for an answer. Their response to the problem, "How about we compensate you 30% of the payment for the goods? You can keep the item or donate it to a charity organization." All we wanted was a way to exchange and get the correct sizes or 100% of our money back!!!

Returns and full refunds refused

Another Chinese company refusing to allow any return and full refund, so sick of this. They ask for photos, then offer a small percentage of the full price as a refund for you to keep the product which you do not want, e.g. trainers too small due to their own sizing charts! Stay away from this online shopping site, save your money and double check for any signs of Chinese distributors.

Read this before engaging this mob

Support takes ages before they get back to you, and if you try and return their subpar products, they will haggle with you relentlessly offering only a percentage of what you spent and even have the gall to say "You know we have also suffered a lot from this bla bla bla" trying to make it sound like it's the customer's fault that their product didn't suit/fit them. Stay as far away as possible from them. You've been warned.

Ordered a pair of "Premium Super Soft…

Ordered a pair of "Premium Super Soft Comfy Lightweight Orthopedic Slide Sandals". What a disappointment! Should have bought the Skechers I was looking at instead. These 'slides' are hard plasticky rubber, if there's such a thing. There is no arch support. The sole is flat, uncomfortable and slippery. There is nothing orthopedic, comfy and supportive about them. My bad for paying $49.99 for **** shoes from China. Hard to get replies to your requests for information. Don't buy from them. You'll get burned.

orthopaedic sandals…

I ordered a pair of orthopaedic sandals from Geekhubis, advertised as leather wedge heal as per the photo convenient two strap comfortable closure.
What I received was flat hard soles plasticky looking upper badly stitched with untrimmed corners that hurt my feet . When the sandals were done up around my ankle the strap wouldn’t lay flat, it looked horrible.
Further to that, when I applied for a refund I was directed to a 24/7 service department ,this just happened to be an automated system that sent me to
Just answer where one has to put in a credit card number etc $2 & $66per month. Once this is paid supposedly a joining fee I would be able to speak to a human being.
This is just another rip off selling horrible products with no chance of ever being able to contact them after the sale.
I gave this company a one but it should be a minus ten.
Trust Pilot say they will let them know about my review
I doubt the message will go any further than the automated chat.
So no returns because they are not contactable.
I did send an email to their support team but no contact has
been made.
