Absolutely love the table.

The delivery was a day early, which was great. We opted for the assembly option, which I am pleased we did as the guys were so quick at putting it all together.

We visited the showroom in January and received our Denis boardgame table at the end of April. So, so pleased with it - amazing quality and great service, the guys who delivered it and put it together were excellent.

Can see some people have found it hard to get hold of the team, but have to say that we never had that issue.

Chris and Paul were amazing with assembling our new beautiful table! They both are professionals and very good people!

Really great experience with Geeknsons. Placing the order for a table, going through all the different finishes and cover fabrics, etc was a surprisingly smooth process.

After the order was placed the team was super responsive when I had questions before the delivery date.

Last but definitely not least, the table itself looks and feels amazing. Solid build, the play surface feels good, accessories attach and detach nicely.

My Gwen - The Duke has arrived a few days ago on 23rd of April and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience, starting at the Kickstarter process until delivery and ending with our first gaming experience!

I'll start with high praise for the delivery team and the process in the background: even though the logistics team couldn't answer every email, they certainly communicated all the information needed between me and the delivery team. That's what counts and it showed 8 days after the notification - everything was timed perfectly and went as smooth at it could be. The two very friendly guys, who called me a day early for an exact appointment, were on time in the following morning and worked incredibly efficient. Less than 15 minutes while I checked the accessories and the table was assembled and ready to be used.
First I searched for damages or quality issues. Very little, I had to look real close for two minor dents and a minor scratch and a few little black smudges that were sealed under the thin varnish. For me personally, this is nothing to complain about. The quality is high! Heavy and stable despite the sleek design, I really appreciate that and what I especially like is the touch of it. It feels like wood even if I opted for transparent varnish. This doesn't prevent the wooden haptic, it is also by far not as glossy and pale as imagined it might be.

Next, the handling: ooooh man, that's a real treat. When first removing the leaves and playing around with the accessories you get a first glimpse of how well thought out the Gwen is! Everything fits in place, very snappy and still stable, not a single wobbly feel, this was built for serious usage one can trust in. The Tabletop Leaves do not fit all too tight on the table, this can lead to a more noticeable gap towards the left or right armrest but this is not a mistake according to the description, it is to prevent that the leaves could suddenly not fit anymore due to expansion and/or warping of the wood when temperatures and humidity increase.
Gaming! This is, where the beautifully crafted Gwen really shines!
Does this table really contribute to an enhanced and more comfortable gaming experience? YES! Yes it does! I and we can definitely say that we can't imagine going back to a normal table! The Gwen is not an unnecessary gimmick that you force on yourself and everyone else because you need to justify the cost, no, it absolutely takes the board game hobby to the next level by a large leap! With accessories that fit your needs, everything is set up so well and tidy, easy to access and safe to use, from beverages and boxes or books on the outside to the luxuriously large and adjustable gaming vault inside. It's safe to say that my expectations were met and even surpassed. I don't have many things left for criticism. The only ones are, that the outer rails are interrupted by the Geeknson emblem, so you can't place e.g. the wooden player desk gt exactly in the middle of two players if you wanted to. Then, the powerbank seems to be glued inside the board, so you probably can't replace it. The wireless charging does not work well with my Samsung phone, it responds to it first but does not really recharge. This all doesn't bother me, my little criticisms do not make me regret anything in the slightest, though I wanted to mention them anyway.
People, one more thing you will really appreciate is the teardown and clean up after your gaming sessions. This is an almost perfect analogue "suspend/resume" function. The ultimate campaign savegame. Store the accessories inside or elsewhere, put the leaves back on top and call it a day, that's it, so convenient it's almost obscene, this is priceless!

Verdict: absolutely stunning, an awesome and new gaming experience which also really nicely fits a normal room when not in use. The Duke stands for itself as an excellent gaming table that I'm sure doesn't only fit my own needs but also those of many other customers!

Great experience with Geeknson. Bought our table at the UK Games Expo. The sales staff were really friendly and informative on the table features, and the staff kept us up to date the entire time with our order and expected delivery date. Would highly recommend, as it's definitely a must for a high quality gaming experience. Just now placed an order for some more matching chairs, and the experience continues to be stellar.

The whole team was very communicative, and transparent during the whole process and the delivery.

The team have been really helpful providing lots of information throughout the sales, delivery and installation process. When the team arrived they helped me move my old dining room table and chairs into my garage as it was too heavy for me to do on my own. I have received detailed aftercare documentation and the product itself looks and feels amazing. The accessories mean that I have a games/dining/work table that is perfect for my requirements.

Had the table and benches for a few weeks now and it’s been great! I wasn’t sure how much I would use the attachable pieces (drinks holder, etc.) but they do improve your experience by quite a bit.

Delivery was also excellent, very kind and helpful when discussing on how to get the table into the flat.

Ordered Gwen table through their Kickstarter in April 2023 - delivered April 2024 (as expected) and absolutely worth the wait. Fantastic quality table, straightforward processing during the Kickstarter and afterwards, and when I needed to get in touch they responded very quickly. Delivery was a dream - shout out to Phil and his mate. Able to put the table together easily with the allen key and screws provided.

Quality product, lovingly made, and would use them again in a heartbeat, if I had space!

Table is brilliant, and the delivery team were smashing, really friendly, quick and great customer service! The quality of the build and the design is spot on. The only reason it's not five stars is the difficulty in reaching the team at times either on the phone or through email, mostly due to issues around the voicemail system. I would, however, recommend the table and the company to others looking to get a dining table/gaming table.

Absolutely amazing quality of the table, I can't wait to get a game out. I think this may be the fastest delivering Kickstarter I've ever backed! The delivery team was very helpful, bringing everything into my house very efficiently and willing to answer any questions I had. I honestly can't say anything bad about the experience I've had with Geeknson, thanks to the team for making my table!

awesome table ("The Merlin" Gwen Gaming Table), delivery two months sooner than expected (which is a real rarity considering all kickstarters I backed so far..), delivery went smooth as smooth can be, except that I did not know about the app to install for the LED-lights (delivery guys did not know either), but got a call a few days later to clear things up - perfect!

Just received the Megan gaming table from Kickstarter. Paul and Chris came and delivered and assembled, they were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We are so happy with our table and looking forward to using it. Thanks so much guys!
