I have had endless hassle with this company.
From uploading my art in the right formatting without losing colour or quality (despite it being fine anywhere else) to actually getting prints to customers.
Integration of products was not simple at times, but the main thing is the stock of frames was out and absolutely not updated on the site or through my store even though it was set to automatically update
The customer service email did not work but was still listed as a point of contact, you have to go through AI chatbots.
During the creation and order process, I got nonsensical error messages, or ones too vague to work out what was wrong without speaking to someone who could see the issues on their side
I listed numerous prints with frames for sale, assuming that since I could list them and there were no error messages it's fine. Finding the stock availability is very difficult and at times wrong. The site gave different availability to the representative I eventually spoke to. The page on how to check availability said it was updated weekly but had not been updated since September 2025.
Finally, after weeks of trying to find out what the vague error messages meant, manually checking if stock was in and failed payments leading to hundreds of pounds of refunds and lost revenue I removed all my products. I am using a different service. I have not received any reply from customer services about my issues.

I've used a few different POD companies connected to my Etsy shop and Gelato really feels elevated in terms of quality and customer service, as well as typically being lower cost for me than Printify and having a simplified worldwide routing system so I can offer global sales without worrying about shipping being too much, or having to find a new provider in that region like I did on Printify. I was almost ready to give up I was having so many issues with Printify (misprints, severe delays, etc), but since switching to Gelato everything is so much easier, and I haven't had any issues with them.

I initially raised a concern regarding an order and some order status information in the dashboard.
Andrzej from Gelato’s support team later clarified the situation and explained some limitations related to tracking information and older order statuses in the system. I also acknowledge that I noticed some of these issues much later, which is partly my own oversight.
As a small shop owner, I rely on accurate order status and tracking information to support my customers. I appreciate the clarification from Andrzej and the Gelato support team and hope their system continues to improve for merchants.

In October 2025, my Gelato subscription was accidentally charged twice. I contacted customer support and they acknowledged the duplicated charge and issued a refund. Because of that duplicated billing, my subscription period was still valid until approximately September 2026. I also deactivated the renewal since I was no longer interested in continuing the service.
However, something extremely concerning happened with my account.
On March 4, after placing an order, I logged back into my account to check the order status and discovered that my account had been completely deleted. My entire order history and account data were gone.
When I contacted customer support, they claimed that I deleted my own account, and because it had been over 15 days, they said it could not be recovered.
This explanation makes absolutely no sense.
First, I did not delete my account. I would have no reason to delete it immediately after placing an order. I’m not even aware of how to delete a Gelato account manually.
Second, even though I disabled auto-renewal, my subscription period was still active until around September 2026 due to the earlier duplicated charge. There was absolutely no reason for me to remove the account.
Instead of actually investigating what happened, customer support simply assumed that I deleted the account myself. It feels like no one even checked the account logs to see who actually triggered the deletion.
This is extremely frustrating. Losing an account and all order history without explanation is unacceptable, and the support response was dismissive rather than helpful.

I did have great success on getting everything up and running I love the offerings. I did see some issues with the Website early on with it processing extremely slow - I could possible attribute to files I was working with.
