Working with Gelena on our wedding was genuinely one of the best decisions we made. She got it right away. We didn't want something big or flashy, and she immediately understood the kind of day we were picturing. Simple, personal, and actually us.
Of course, we had our nervous moments. Everyone loves to tell you how stressful wedding planning is supposed to be. But honestly? That wasn't our experience. Every time we started to spiral a little, Gelena would calm us down. That kind of quiet confidence made all the difference.

The whole process felt surprisingly easy. She actually took the time to listen to our story, and everything moved forward in this direct, thoughtful, no unnecessary back and forth.

The ceremony was probably our favorite part. Gelena wove three languages together so that every one of our guests felt included, and watching that come to life, exactly the way we'd imagined it, was something we'll never forget.

She did the wedding ceremony bilingually in English and Spanish and it flowed wonderfully. Everyone at the wedding said afterwards what a fantastic ceremony it was. She adapted to our needs and was an absolute professional leading the ceremony and making it truly memorable with the words she spoke.

Communication with her before and after the wedding was smooth. First we had a video call before I decided whether to use her services as an officiant or not, then she helped with all of the paperwork in the months leading up to the wedding. We met her in person for the blood tests a few days before the ceremony and ran through how the ceremony would go and practiced handing over the rings etc. After the ceremony she delivered the marriage certificates a few days later.
