I'm unsure who is the biggest joke. Flow Insurance (LV) or this lot, (Gem - if only, Canal St, Brierley Hill) who Flo, call their 'approved' repairer.

On June 20th my vehicle was stationary and was hit and damaged by a stolen car, with false plates, which was being pursued by a police car. I had a meeting with the officers involved, photos were taken and details were exchanged.
I then spent 4 hours plus trying to call Flow on their 'Accident emergency' line - to report the accident and gave up in the end. I then called at 6:26 am the next day, it seems this is the best time to speak with anyone at Flow, when most of the nation is still asleep.
I spoke with Keith, he took all the details of the officers involved and said he would text me the reference number (which he didn't) and their 'approved' repair company Gemini, Brierley Hill, West Midlands would be in touch between 9 and 11 am to make arrangements for repairs and supply us with a hire car.
Sure enough, 9:15 am Reginia called to book the car in and take details etc... The car would be collected on the 29th for repairs and upon collection a hire car would delivered too.
On the 27th July, I received a call from the garage to finalise details about the damage and repairs, this was despite me completing Gemini's ridiculous app with images of the damage on the 24th. The call was complete and it was all confirmed for the 29th - as previously arranged.
July 28th: (day before collection)
During the late afternoon, I receive a call from Gemini to say that someone had not returned the hire car that we were supposed to be having and they were going to try and hire from Enterprise and they would call me back. I then receive a call (bizarrely) from Enterprise at 4:50 pm, to say: "we do not have any cars available, not even the very basic small one that had been booked for you" - charming! When I asked why Enterprise were calling me and not the garage, as it was their responsibility to sort this mess out - not Enterprise? That was met with: "dunno mate, I just work here." I then tried to get hold of Gemini but no one answered the phone. The interesting thing was, I then booked a hire car with Enterprise for the next day online - with no problems. I didn't close the sale as this was not the correct protocol to do this.
So, the next day I waited as arranged between 8 & 11:00 am for our car to be collected, no call from Gemini and no one showed up, I took 4 hours off work, emptied out all the car of private items - as requested and Gemini never showed or called.
I then went to work and Gemini called me at 3:30 pm in the afternoon saying: "alright mate, we're 5 minutes from your house." That's a problem, because I'm 35 miles away in the car that you arranged to collect this morning but didn't show up or call. His response: "I know, we're ever so short staffed mate. I'll get the office to call you". Missed the point completely!
The next day, I get a call from Gemini wanting to arrange it all over again, no apology whatsoever for wasting 4 hour of my time, just so unprofessional and completely incapable of basic arrangements and I'm supposed to trust these clowns with repairs to my vehicle? I don't think so. I told Gemini to forget it and I would contact Flow and get them to appoint another 'Approved' repairer.
I then sent Flow an email advising what had taken place and to get in touch and provide me with a more professional repairer - anyone but this tin-pot outfit Gemini.

After a minor bump my insurers, LV, directed me to my local Gemini repair centre - Brierley Hill.
After a couple of false starts where a courtesy car was not available, my car was collected and I was taken to Enterprise car hire, Lye.
The repair was carried out swiftly and I received courtesy and efficient dealings with both companies.
Highly satisfied.

My wife's car insurance arranged for her Picanto to go to Gemini ARC Wakefield for repairs to a rear-end shunt. We had no say in the matter & aren't we glad? We couldn't have chosen a better firm to deal with it.

Appalling experience in March 2023 following an accident covered by LV. Couldn't use any other repair company and had such a bad time with Gemini (and LV) that when I had a no-fault accident in May, I used the franchise's own insurance scheme rather than put up with LV and Gemini again.
Took 5 days to get a nasty filthy courtesy car that I couldn't upgrade and that was disgustingly dirty on arrival with a fault in the tyre air monitoring system. Stuck with it for 3 weeks and it knackered my dodgy back.
2 new tyres were needed and they called to ask where I wanted them - I asked for the front. They left them both on the driver side. I had lost the will to live and was happy to be done with them, so didn't ask them to come out and change them as I didn't notice on delivery.
Think the car was done with OEM materials as I repeatedly insisted but I was nervous of the quality of work based on the quality of experience - to the extent I had a health check by my franchise afterwards.

Initially my car was picked up for what was a minor dent and a scratch on the wheelarch. The car was with them for a week. I finally got my car back - in a filthy state with them reporting that the wrong shade of paint was used.
I was told I’d be contacted soon when the right shade of paint could be sourced.
I called them back over 2 weeks later, I then had a call the day after telling the paint had arrived.
My car was picked up again - the day after I called to see if it was ready for me to pick up. I was told again that they cannot get the right shade of paint.
When I got it back I had to clean the mess that was made - again and then discovered the interior of the door had not been put back properly.
One bad experience I can deal with but this is now become an ongoing issue. I’ve owned the car 3 months. I feel my car is slowly ruined by the poor quality of the service they provide
Update: I have since taken my car to another body repair shop and have been informed that the work they have done is unacceptable, a wheel arch and door were sprayed (the wrong shade) when it should have been the side of the car and the colour should have been blended in.
I now have the car booked in for the work to be put right.

Following a minor brush with a bollard, I put in a claim with our insurers who instructed Gemini ARC Taunton to carry out the work to our Mercedes A Class.
The car was collected on 14 June and a courtesy car provided. Two days later the car was back looking pristine and with a fuel top up.
Amazing service - well done.
Rated 4 as no one is that perfect.

My car was repaired here after a accident in October 2022 my car was returned within a week with some clips on back order. Now we are in June and I'm waiting for the clips after several calls and conversations with esure car insurance.
The clips were delivered to my home address and we were expected to fit them ourselves. Very disappointed wouldn't use them again

Manchester branch . Totally on the ball with my car the lovely Andrea kept me upto date with my juke and more Importantly called when she said she would. A little mishap on day of collection which put it back but they pulled out all the stops for me and made a stressful accident more bearable. Defo no issues at all with Denton branch. Missing parts, wrong parts, paint doesn't match, overspray, under spray, panel gaps, bits hanging off the bumper. Basically if you want your car ruining take it here. Oh and add the gobby call handler from head office for the full experience. Beyond poor.

I have just collected my car from the Macclesfield branch. I have never experienced such outstanding customer service. Carla on reception was an absolute pleasure and is incredibly professional. My car now looks like it's new, apart from the first class repairs my car was cleaned inside and out and the whole experience was dealt with swiftly and quickly by a company that I can't praise enough, thank you all so much for making an old man very happy.

Arrangements were made for an accident repair and a courtesy car through Enterprise. When the car was collected no courtesy car was delivered, the Enterprise person said we don't deliver can you come and collect it later, and you are outside our area. They transferred the order through to Hazel Grove branch of Enterprise, who didn't have a car available and it would be Monday before they could get one for me. Monday came and Enterprise rang and said they had been told the car might be ready in a day or two so we decided not to bother. Every time we contacted Gemini the car would be tomorrow. So in the end it was 12 days the car took to be repaired and returned. I am sure Gemini will charge LV for it

I have been forced by LV, my car insurance company to use this repairer for a no fault claim made 6 weeks ago. The only alternatives LV offered were in different cities and counties. Gemini couldn’t “fit me in” for 4 weeks then on the agreed day of collection they called to say they need to postpone for another day as the curtesy car hadn’t been returned to them. The next day they just didn’t turn up in the 3 hour window they’d given me. I called them and was told “it’s because a customer hadn’t returned the curtesy car”. No alternative date offered and no apology! I’m left now to either trust them that they will eventually get to me and do a decent job or to go to another LV recommended repair garage out of town and start the whole process again!

Absolutely amazing job they have done on my car as a repair. New bumper and boot mechanism replaced after a rear collision. Not only is the work first class and they were a pleasure to deal with but the car was returned looking like a new car. So so impressed with the whole service overall.

I am happy with the repair to my vehicle which Gemini collected due to an accident that was not my fault, I was unable to drive and they were helpful in organising collection. The receptionist was very helpful and informative, keeping me updated on the repair. Car looks like new and cannot fault.

This is the worst experience I could imagine with a repair centre. Firstly they were told that the car was a priority by the insurer and yet took weeks to do anything. In the meantime I was given return dates which then failed to materialise leading to costs for myself as the car was due to be returned to the lease company. When the car did finally reappear the new panels had scratches in the paintwork under the clearcoat, the paintwork in other areas was bubbled and the plastics were flaking off and able to be moved with a fingernail.
Quite frankly with the lies, shoddy work and lack of any sort of communication I can't believe this place gets any business. And to tell me that the work underwent quality control is laughable. It must have been assured by a blind man.
Avoid them at all costs
