I was a little unsure buying an engagement ring online but Gems NY had the stone I wanted and at a great price so I decided to take a chance. The ring turned out amazing! The sapphire we chose was GIA and UGL certified and Gems NY issued all the paperwork. Communication with Vishal was great, he was very responsive. If you have any doubt about using Gems NY, I would say don't hesitate. If they have the stone you want, do it! You will not be disappointed. My future fiance is going to flip with excitement when she sees the ring! I already did myself!

I had no previous experience of buying jewellery online and I was a little skeptical. I wanted to surprise my wife with a ring. I spoke with Ernie who helped me choose the gemstone and the design of the ring. This was a great help. Ernie also ensured that I received the ring on time.

Unfortunately to my dismay, my wife did not like the ring. I asked Ernie for a refund and without question, he provided me with the return procedure.

I highly recommend this company. The gemstones, the rings, and the customer service were of the highest quality.

Gemsny is located in the famous diamond district in NYC. Recently I saw an emerald and diamond ring in a jewelry store in South Florida. I emailed Gemsny and asked fit they could do a similar rendition. Wow! The ring is an exact replica (made only from photos and the jeweler's web site) for less than 50% of the price. The workmanship and detail would hold up against any ring in a jewelry store with high end items. I dealt with Ernie, the sales manager, and did the whole project remotely with regular communication. So don't be afraid of using the Internet for Gemsny. The customer service is amazing and I couldn't have asked for more. You may also visit them and work out details of jewelry needs. I also ordered an emerald ring (almost 5 carats) and paid about 1/3 of what I would pay in a regular store. Use them with absolute confidence. You will be pleasantly, very pleasantly surprised with Gemsny prices!

I first met Gemsny 3 years ago. Gemsny went out of their way to find the right gem ( alexandrite ) at the quality and price that was both agreeable to myself and my wife. Gemsny when way out of their way to accommodate me. In the day of the internet and online buying especially when purchasing a stone it takes trust on both sides and Gemsny went well out of their way to make me feel completely comfortable with the process. The quality was exactly as stated and the price was more than fair.
I very rarely write reviews on anyone's website but I felt that Gemsny deserved high praise.

The ring is fantastic. Color is terrific, sapphire just dazzles, setting is handsome, heavy, and the ring size is perfect. I spent days on the internet comparing quality, value, and reputation. No Jeweler that I could find offers what GemsNY does. And the ring was delivered in two weeks of my

EXCELLENT SERVICE -
I used GemsNY's web site to purchase a ruby and gold ring for my wife's birthday. The web site was user friendly, pictures and descriptions were clear and accurate and made it easy to find the right gem and setting selection within my budget. Vishal even gave me advice on which ruby would meet my needs and found the perfect one in their extensive inventory. The documentation included with the order can be used for insurance purposes. I've already recommended GemsNY to friends and family and certainly would used them again.

I love my emerald pendant but I gave them four stars because I felt the website was a bit misleading with items. I was originally thinking about an astrological setting for my pendant. On the website it was listed as the same price as the less expensive of the two regular settings I was looking at. When I called Gemsny to ask what the difference was between astrological and regular settings I was told the astrological was made individually so the gem would touch the skin and was more expensive by at least $120. I then asked why it was the same price on the website and was told that was an error and would be corrected. So I went with the regular setting. I few days later I checked and the price was only raised by $30, not $120. I feel I was not accurately informed about this. The other misleading item is the ending date for the 10% off date. I made sure to get my order in by that date only to discover the date was now for another month. I was told that was not unusual for them. I just feel both items were misleading. But as far as the pendant I received I am very pleased with it's appearance and color.

In 2016, I purchased my wife a 1 carat Alexandrite ring for our 40th Anniversary while in the Caribbean. Natural Alexandrite with it’s gemstone specific color change from blue/green to red/purple in my opinion is just a fabulous happening. I enjoy seeing her set so much that I wanted to get a stone for myself.
I found GemsNY on line. With emails and phone calls to Vishal describing what I was considering, we designed a 0.97 carat Alexandrite/0.36 carat diamonds mans ring. The stone is blue green to purple. The color “switching” is very strong; especially with the natural lighting fixtures we have in our home. I am very pleased.
