Incompetence paired with discrimination and authoritarian tendencies. In all communications they SYSTEMATICALLY discriminate against non-Catalan speakers. E.g., in the local health system (CAP), all phone messages and patient reports are in Catalan and in Catalan only, even if you tell them that you don't speak it and want the reports in Spanish. This is outrageous as it risks people's health just to push a nationalist agenda, but it is exemplary for the types of fascist haters in power in Catalonia. Local cultural events are carefully sanitised to ensure they only enforce a catalanist world view (others simply aren't subsidised which means they do not exist). For any European this is a sorry state of affairs. I suppose the name says it all: generalitat. I am unaware of any other public civil administration in Europe that uses such a militaristic name. Simply repugnant people!

They are disgusting pigs. They won´t allow the speaking of Castellano spanish and their use of English is pitiful. They are discriminatory and full of hate to the maximum degree possible. Avoid them at all costs
