Excellent company.

Get by bus is probably the best company to use in Thailand. Booking online is simple and value for money. E-tickets are sent back immediately and when I had a problem ( due to my own fault) with my return ticket they had it sorted out without any issues. Well done to everybody 👏👏👏

Really incredibly unsatisfactory, slow and unprofessional

So far I'm waiting for an issue to be resolved. To summarise:
Booked ticket via getbybus *which is an intermediary broker and not the transport provider* for travel between Aswan- Luxor- Hurghada (Egypt) on saturday 15th Feb for travel this morning 17th Feb- involving several connections. The provider 'Trip Egypt' still had not contacted me by mid afternoon Sunday 16th. I got standard algorithm generated response and no human being.
Somewhat predictably no-one turned up to collect me from the designated departure spot at 5am. Finally at 5.38am I received a whatsapp message from an anonymous person asking where I was. I told him/her that I'd left as they were 40 minutes late.

I was forced to find alternative (very expensive) travel options in order to make my connections. I am still waiting to hear from Getbybus. At this point I am being asked to prove that the transport company did not get in touch with me (I have eventually managed to send the whatsapp screen shot via email, for some reason my phone won't do this, I suspect not enough storage etc).

I think it's both astonishing and highly unprofessional that Getbybus are asking ME to prove that I had no contact. Instead of believing me, and in the process I've spent a good few hours contacting them. Given that I alerted them to the problems BEFORE I travelled- having heard nothing from the transport provider, it's fairly self evident.

Overall I've used Getbybus three times. Twice it's been easy and fine (with larger established transport providers like national bus companies.) My experience with Pharoah Fleet Travel, or Trip Egypt (I have conflicting information on whatsapp and the ticket) has been abysmal and I'm really very angry.

Oh and by the way I'm disabled.

This company are involved with scammers and criminals

Update on my complaint.
The company has no intention of refunding us for the trip. They've gone as far as to question if what we were reported was true. The experience with the bus company and these people has been horrendous.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you can avoid it.

This company are involved with scammers. The bus didn't take us to the bus terminal in Krabi, Thailand instead a backstreet where we were dropped off, threatened, intimidated and scammed out of money to be able to leave the area. I'm dealing with GetByBus to try to request a refund and they're denying all knowledge of what went on. I'm having to prove we were targeted by criminals. They are currently saying its up to the bus company to decide on a refund. I don't agree as legally they took the money and arranged the service. Having looked on trip advisor can see we aren't alone in our experience. Still pushing for a refund. Don't use this company.

Scammers - Avoid booking with them

If you can avoid booking with them, please do so. I booked a bus ticket from Marrakesh to Agadir with getbybus.com and payment was confirmed and they issued a ticket on their website. The ticket did not mention the address for the bus station at Marrakesh but they said they work mainly with 2 bus terminals. They also said they’d send me an email however they mentioned that the email would take longer than usual to arrive in my inbox.
I waited for a couple of hours for the email and since I did not receive the ticket on email, I decided to print the ticket they had issued on the website. It had a ticket number but no details on the full departure address which I assumed were to be sent on email. I arrived the first bus terminal an hour before departure to make sure I was in the right place. They told me I wasn’t. I went to another bus terminal which was the right address for the bus company mentioned on the ticket however to my shock, they did not recognise the booking and neither did they even have such a ticket number on their list of bookings.
I went to the getbybus website to contact customer support which they had mentioned is a 24hr service. There was no number to call or anything. Basically no way to get to them. The bus company had never heard of them and informed us they do not work with them. Decided to buy another bus ticket over the counter as I made hotel reservations and other bookings in Agadir which would cost me more if I missed the bus.
If this review can help anyone thinking of booking with getbybus, please don’t! It’s a scam.

the departure date was changed

I selected the departure date from their website, but after purchasing the ticket, I saw that the date for my departure was changed. So I ended up with a ticket I couldn't use and they wouldn't refund.

#GetByBus *Complete Scam

#GetByBus *Complete Scam - Do Not Use This Service!

Hey guys, it's regarding my recent trip through the Balkan countries where I faced horrible service from GetByBus provider which is an online service for bus booking.

I cannot express enough how awful my experience with GetByBus booking service has been. This company is running what seems like a complete scam. I booked a multi-leg trip through them, which included a connecting bus. Unfortunately, there was a major delay on the first leg of the journey, causing me to miss my connecting bus, which was also booked through their platform.

What happened next was infuriating. Instead of offering any assistance, they refused to transfer my ticket to another bus or offer any form of refund. Their customer service was nonexistent and after calling for more than 50times I ended up sending an email. I spent hours trying to reach them, and finally received a reply after several hours only to be told that I was "out of luck" and that "delays are not their responsibility." They essentially left me stranded, with no viable options to get to my destination.

Not only did I lose my money, but the entire process was extremely stressful. They refuse to take accountability for the problems their delays caused, and the lack of a refund or alternative solution is nothing short of a scam. I would highly recommend avoiding #GetByBus service at all costs. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and offer absolutely no support when things go wrong. If you value your time and money, book with a more reputable company or the best option is to book directly from the bus station all over the cities of Croatia.

Not professionally helpful

By mistake, I put the wrong month on my reservation, getting a bus ticket for December 21st instead of January 21st. Just 10 minutes lates as soon as I realized when I was checking everything, I wrote to the customer service to change it and they answer pretty soon saying it was not possible due to the conditions.
But in any case, it was not a change of mind or any other circumstance which made me just prefer another date or something like that, it was just an immediate mistake which aaaaaall other companies have always resolved.
I could not expect by any chance to get this negative answer. So yes, very absolutely disappointing.

Absolutely disgusting

This is the mail i sent to the support: I want to complain. The link you sent me appearently was not the boarding location. 1st we had to walk around the airport for more than an hour in the cold and we couldn't find the location marked on the map. It was not possible to identify the map. There were no signs. Nobody spoke english there, nobody could help us. On the ticket were coordinates that didnt work on google maps. There were no information about a specific location, like a terminal or a number of the exit. It says we had to check in 30min. before departure. On that time there was no bus. We couldn't reach the hotline, nobody picked up the phone. Around departure time we could reach the hotline. There was somebody called Mike who told us we were at the wrong boarding location and he will send a car to bring is to the correct one. We were not at the wrong boarding station. On the ticket it says "Hanoi Airport". I asked him why there is no bus. He refused to explain me the situation to me and he hung up on me several times. All in all we arrived sa pa 2 hours late. After many times calling him and his superior they finally told us that WE were the one who dif something wrong. (His superior also hung up on me) they were very rude, didnt listen to me and cut me off. We discussed on whatsapp and they also didnt answer any of my questions and said its my fault. They told me that its our fault because when we applied for the ticket i supposedly gave them the wrong phone number. He needed the number to contact me to tell me what the "correct" location is.
My questions to you: 1. why do you sell tickets with wrong informations on it?
2. Why dont i get prior informations that i need to be contacted because the boarding location on the ticket might be FALSE
3. Why are they telling me its my fault and nobody is apologizing to me.
4. We have a ticket back from sa pa and we dont know if the boarding location on the ticket is the correct one. Please help me out with that.
We are on our honey moon and this was very stressful for us. We tried to find that bus for 2,5 hours in the cold and now we get blamed for this. We paid money for this. This appauling and i want an explanation.

On the way back there was no issues with the boarding. But the staff was incredibly rude. They didnt say hello. Didnt even make eye contact. They didnt even let us know if we are supposed to enter the bus or not. During the drive my wife got sick. We had a stop somewhere. I asked the staff if we could use the restroom here. I told them several times that my wife was sick. They outright answered in vietnamese or didnt answer at all. They completely avoided eye contact and totally ignored me. I asked if i van have a plastic bag because my wife might throw up. They still ignored me. What if we had an emergency? If you dont speak english, at least pull your phone and let me ask questions via the translater.

Scam

I bought ticket from Belgrade to Ljubljana for 31. December. I just confirmed with the Belgrade bus station that THERE IS NO BUS for that day! For now they refuse to give my cash back.
