Very good service.

Avoid

Avoid, avoid avoid!
I have used it for nearly 2 years now without issue until they released their smart ISA. I made a transfer from my normal cash easy access ISA and then realised it was a fix 1 year rate! So decided to transfer out to a better fixed rate ISA with Barclays. After 3 rejections by chip to Barclays trying to access my money I am eventually told by chip that Barclays don’t have the correct procedures in place due to the new style ISA from chip to transfer!! They have made it difficult to access your cash. In the end I had to withdraw the cash into my bank account and lose my ISA status!!
It is a shame as they were very good in the normal savings accounts to transfer in & out but seems they wanted to create a way where you can’t access your money!!!

To clarify, there’s no intention to make accessing your money difficult. Our Smart ISA follows a newer transfer process, and while most providers support this, some banks are still updating their procedures. Unfortunately, this can lead to delays or rejected transfers, as you experienced with Barclays.

We completely understand how disappointing it is to lose your ISA status as a result. That’s not the outcome we want for our customers, and we’re continuing to work with providers to improve compatibility and make transfers smoother.

I wanted to say thanks Chip for…

I wanted to say thanks Chip for innovating with their Spring Prize Draw and new Smart ISA in April. I've been with them since 2017 and having a spread of money across savings, investments and a Prize Draw makes the app a one stop shop I regularly want to check and see how my wealth is growing. The Spring Draw in particular gives recognition (by offfering entries) for customers with assets across all products they offer. I probably won't win but it has made the start of the new financial year a little more exciting. I hope Chip continue to bring more products to Market, I am here for the journey.

Customer support "guys" help anytime if they can

The customer support "guys" are very helpful and trying to be quick as they can. My phone been repaired and in the service they factory reset my phone. I did a safety back up of all my apps, but when I tried to log in the system didn't recognise my phone. Did see as a new device so couldn't login. Contacted customer service and they sorted out for me almost instantly. Thanks!
At the moment I have an ongoing issue with my Smart cash ISA. Is not flexible enough for me as the old Cash ISA. So I want to go back to my old Cash ISA.
But unfortunately when the conversion done between the cash ISA & Smart Cash ISA the oldcash ISA account is close.
Parently they have to reopen,the old Cash ISA account which looks like isn't that easy.
So now I still waiting for them to fix this issue for me. Thanks "guys"
