Avoid

This timesheet app is an absolute nightmare. It is completely stuck in 2005. The interface is clunky, the functionality is terrible, and even the simplest tasks take forever. Syncing barely works and the whole design feels completely neglected. To make matters worse, the customer service team is constantly changing, painfully slow to respond, and often leaves issues unresolved. Unfortunately, this app makes work harder, more frustrating and makes leaving their services incredibly difficult.

The official responses from ETZ are equally infuriating. Instead of taking responsibility, they are defensive and dismissive, quick to push blame. Customers deserve accountability, not corporate spin. Until ETZ completely overhauls this broken and complicated system, dealing with them is a total waste of time.

Serious security concerns and unacceptable service

Just wanted to share the ongoing nightmare we're having with ETZ. Honestly, it's a bit of a joke now – the system's down yet again today! The whole setup feels like it's stuck in the Dark Ages and desperately needs a revamp.

The staff turnover is a whole other story. It's like a revolving door over there, which just adds to the mess. Every time we call, it's someone new, and we're back to square one explaining everything all over again.

The real kicker was when none of us could log in because of an expired SSL certificate. Talk about a security blunder! It's not just annoying; it's actually getting in the way of our work.

And let's talk about the customer service – if you can even call it that. It's like they've barely touched a computer before, let alone understand our problems. We're shelling out a pretty penny for this service, and to get this level of cluelessness in return? Unbelievable. There's clearly a big problem at ETZ, and it needs sorting out fast.

I've got to be honest – I can't recommend ETZ to anyone at this point. There are way better options out there, with up-to-date systems and people who actually know what they're doing.

Seriously, ETZ needs to get its act together, and fast. We need some real solutions and a proper explanation of what's going on.

Due to the fact the person posting this review has anonymised who they are "Louise Doe" or a company name we are unable to respond personally, however I would like to address the points raised.
System down again - The ETZ system was temporarily down but not for all users. Those effected were able to login to within a short period of time.
Set in the dark ages - This is the opinion of one person and ETZ partner with a number of small, medium and large agencies that are happy with the system and its functionality across the recruitment sector.
Staff turnover - Within the last 12 months there has been some senior management changes however the customer services department has remained unchanged for the last three years other than a new additional team member joining.
Every time I call i get through to someone new - For the last three years if you had phoned Customer Support you would have spoken to the same 2 members of the customer service teams and more recently a new member has joined the team who is in training.
SSL certificate expiry is a security blunder - Steps have been taken to ensure the smooth running of the SSL
Customer service if you can call it that, seems they have hardly ever touched a computer - This is the opinion of the anonymous person / company posting this review. Between them Customer Service have 20 years experience of the ETZ system and other customer reviews are very positive.
Better options out there with more up to date systems - Again this is an opinion of one person. There are many companies that have a long standing partnership with ETZ who are very satisfied.
An explanation of what is going on and solutions - If you would like to make yourself known we would be very happy to share our new products that will be coming soon and also share ETZ's strategic roadmap 2024.

Dreadful Experience

Complicated system, not user friendly, poor customer service, inexperienced staff, Expensive, really expensive if you want any form of customisation,poor aftercare and quite frankly there are far better options available for online time sheets and invoicing.

overpriced, poor customer service and a nightmare to leave

Extremely overpriced (by 75%) compared to competitors, with an inferior product (less functionality than most others) and terrible customer service. We've been charged/invoiced incorrectly multiple times and when we finally decided to leave they refused any kind of refund despite us agreeing it in our contract extension. No wonder most customers are leaving them in droves. I dont usually write reviews but feel the need to warn others. Use at your own risk!

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, the comments paint a very one-sided perspective on the situation. Since Nonstop Consulting Ltd terminated its contract with ETZ early and in violation of the termination provisions, no refund was due. While we offered the client the option to keep the service or even change their minds, they terminated it before the end of the term.
Based on feedback from our Customer Support ticketing system, we found that feedback from Nonstop Consulting ETZ users was consistently positive. Over the years, we have supported your business and we will always pride ourselves on the extensive flexibility and scalability our product provides.

ETZ Timesheets is a superb platform

ETZ Timesheets is a superb and user friendly platform for managing timesheets and providing operational and finance solutions for our business.

We use ETZ Timesheets for ALL of our Managers. The ETZ team make the onboarding and the employment process of our Managers a seamless and easy process.

I would like to particularly express a huge thank you to Katie Vardon and Sam Fox. They provide and excellent and professional service at all times. I don’t view them as vendors who provide a service as we work in Partnership and they are my right hand and colleagues!

Its very important to ensure our Managers are always satisfied and don’t have any admin issues or headaches. All queries are responded immediately and efficiently. If there is an issue, it gets resolved asap and solutions are always offered immediately.

We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of ETZ team and look forward to future collaboration.

Super quick at responding!

I recently joined a company that use ETZ and had a session with Katie and Sam to walk me through some of its features. I was really impressed with the depth of their knowledge and ability to answer all questions put forward to them.
They have continued to provide ongoing support and have been super quick to respond to any questions raised via their ticket system!

The ETZ timesheet portal is brilliant!

The ETZ timesheet portal is brilliant, it has improved the efficiency of my role a lot and it has saved me a lot of time on a weekly basis in getting approved timesheets and invoices issued.
The support I have received has been amazing. Whenever I have a question or unsure how to do something Katie is always at the other end of the phone for me.
