I stopped using this after a week, emailed to cancel they said give it six sessions, well life goes on and you get busy I should not have had to remember to cancel after I already attempted too! Six months later it auto renews. I understand all the policies. However, I received zero notifications or emails that it was renewing or any acknowledgement that I was charged. When I saw the charge, I had no clue what it was for. They refuse to give a refund. Lousy customer service. I've now paid for a year of services when I barely used it.
I did reach out to customer service was replied refusing to refund anything stating your policies are posted to view. However, who remembers six months later that they are going to have another charge? What business charges a customer without some sort of notification or receipt??
Update received an email saying they'll refund. Much appreciated thank you.

I would give 0 stars if I could.
I initially purchased a single ADHD document from Happyo, with no clear indication that I was enrolling in a recurring subscription. I never received renewal notifications, and the charges continued without my knowledge.
When I tried to cancel, I had to email them rather than having an easy cancellation option. Despite explaining the situation, the company refused to refund charges I never knowingly authorised.
This experience felt misleading and lacked transparency. Please be cautious if you decide to use this service.
For a company trying to help people with ADHD you are very misleading and in trustworthy.
I have sent the required information.
I was declined any refund multiple times.
1. Internal policies do not override consumer law
A 30‑day “all sales final” refund policy is not valid if the customer was not properly informed that they were entering a recurring subscription. Under both:
• Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (prohibiting unfair contract terms and misleading conduct), and
• EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the EU Digital Services Act (requiring clear disclosure of subscriptions and banning dark‑pattern designs),
a refund is required when the consumer was not given clear, prominent information about recurring charges.
2. Subscription terms were not clearly disclosed at signup
My first interaction with Happyo was purchasing a single ADHD self‑help document. At no point during checkout was it clear that this was enrolling me into a recurring 2‑monthly subscription service.
If customers are not reasonably aware they are entering a subscription, the agreement is not enforceable.
3. No renewal notices were provided
No reminders, warnings, or billing notices were sent prior to charges being taken. This further contributes to misleading or unfair conduct.
4. Cancellation required unnecessary friction
Requiring customers to email support to cancel violates the simple cancellation requirement under both ACL and EU law.
Your internal 30‑day policy does not override Australian Consumer Law or applicable EU consumer protection laws when a subscription is not clearly disclosed at the point of purchase.

I find this particular hypnotist to be the most effective for me, due to the gentle cadence of her voice, and her use of “golden cloud” imagery, in her induction.

Not very good. And they just want to take your money. No customer service.

I have not used the services fir a verry long time a only was reminded when another payment went through. I asked to cancel my account and a refund of the last payment (today). Their policy can not pay back after 30 days of open an account. So they happely kept my money for the next 4 months......

i had become anxious today and in need of grownding. I went back to the first sessions and revisted a few and am again peaceful and well grounded. I was able to identify what the issue was and peacefully and with full confidence return to peacefulness.

I wish I used it more consistently and there was an app. The few months I had full access, it changed so much of my attention issues and ADHD. This is an amazing tool to overcome anything holding you back.

Horrible company!! BEWARE! They are not to be trusted! Watch carefully and read everything! They will charge your card repeatedly and you can't get a refund! I would never ever do business with this company and I advise you not to either!!!
Update: After some time and trustpilot reviews Happyo did the right thing and credited my account for the renewal charge! I appreciate them doing this for me! My review was solely based on their charging my card without first alerting me! It was not about their product! From what I see from reviews they have a good product! I'm not sure if they have changed their policy regarding an automatic charge. Hopefully they have!

The actual positive reinforcement, is quite good, but didn’t feel it was long enough, which was exacerbated by his use of counting, which I found a bit abrupt, at first, but I got used to. His relaxation script goes up and down the body, rather than flowing down, and the use of stairs to go deeper, was confusing and a little bit scary. We’ve all fallen down stairs, so it felt dangerous. The male voice, was disconcerting, so I would have liked the option, of staying with the female voice.

regret to say that my experience with this company has been nothing short of a waste of time and money. Their website is difficult to navigate, with videos often failing to load, and they lack an app for easier access, relying solely on a web browser. Despite cancelling my subscription, they have continued to take money from my account for a product that is simply not fit for purpose. I have attempted to access it twice, but otherwise, I have not used it as it is completely useless. I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the lack of support.

Scam company, don't get involved, they are thieves. I intentionally DECLINED an offer they emailed me when I was browsing what they had sent. I discovered, some 5 days later that they went ahead a took my money anyway. I emailed, requesting an immediate cancellation and a full refund as I had not used their app whatsoever. They cancelled my membership but REFUSED to REFUND. I am well within my 14 days cooling off period. Under Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights (and its UK equivalent, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), I exercised my statutory right to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period. My cancellation request was made well within this timeframe.
While they cite the digital content exemption, I note that this exemption only applies where the consumer has given explicit prior consent to immediate provision of digital content and has expressly acknowledged the loss of the right to cancel. I do not recall giving any such explicit, informed waiver at the point of checkout. A general reference within lengthy Terms of Service does not meet the legal threshold for an explicit waiver.
As such, their refusal to refund appears to be inconsistent with EU consumer protection law, and a blanket “no refund” position may constitute an unfair contract term, which is unenforceable regardless of inclusion in their Terms.
I also cancelled promptly, did not use the service, and acted in good faith immediately upon becoming aware of the charge.

I’ve been listening to this series of hypnotherapy sessions nearly every night for months. I pick a topic that speaks to me that day and try to listen a minimum of 3 x as recommended. I don’t do them in a row. I mix it up. And the app keeps track. But invariably I’m asleep before the 15 min are up every time. I don’t know if the topics are “ sticking” while I fall sleep but they certainly aren’t hurting. Highly recommend.

I thought I had cancelled my subscription by deleting my account through the app but I was charged
a further subscription payment a couple of months later. Apparently you have to cancel your subscription through the app - cancelling your account through the app does not cancel automatic debits to your bank account. Not impressed at all :(

If this TL:dnr for you, my experience and advice is not to purchase this product. The company is not transparent nor truthful with their customer service.
I cancelled my subscription to this service soon after first signing up and thought that the situation was resolved. I deleted any access to the platform. Today, my credit card was charged yet again for the product. I attempted to send an email to the 'contact' email listed for the company, but the email was returned with a message stating the email 'doesn't exist'. In spite of that, I eventually received a reply from a support person, 'Sarah', using a different domain, 'hypnozio', requesting the email I used for signing up and/or a subscription number. As I originally signed up over 4 months ago, I had to carefully search through all of my email. (This company apparently uses several different names... Happyo, Hypnozio, and Hypnopulse...so it can be a bit tedious and confusing to track things down.) Also, the address for the company is listed as Vilnius, Lithuania, so expect a foreign tag on any charge notice and different laws governing oversight for companies. I did locate the original invoice and replied to the support message with a copy of the invoice, stating that I would wait to hear back. I did hear back, and the support person stated that they represented 'Hypnozio' and not 'Happyo'. Further research revealed that 'Hypnopulse' is the corporate entity behind both 'Happyo' and 'Hypnozio'. So, in spite of what the support person stated, these are not three unrelated companies! My guess is that they hope to hide behind a series of different company names, hoping to confuse their clients. Later I also heard from the same support person, 'Sarah', using a 'happyo' domain, but the same first name and writing style. She immediately pushed the TOS towards me and said that I had missed the 30 day cut off for requesting refunds. It didn't seem to matter that I had canceled only 2 weeks after signing up. Finally I heard from yet another person, 'Mark' who claimed to be the 'head of support'. He stated that he had assigned me to the Paypal 'VIP service', would be looking into my case, and expected a chargeback within 3 months. So I don't know who to believe. In any event, I was assured that my subscription was now cancelled and there would be no further charges. They were unwilling to provide any kind of refund for this December charge on my account. Stay away from them!
**Update: I sent a copy of the original invoice and the email address used early on, to “Sarah” when she requested them. The order number was on the invoice. So you already have that information.
****Additional update: I have received, via email, an additional request for this information which I already provided. Included in this email was a request for my phone number which I will not provide. This is what happens when companies use AI for customer support instead of actual human oversight. Customers get stuck in email loops with eventual dead ends and multiple replies from the AI. I repeat two things: first to the Happyo company 1. Refund my recent charge, and second to TrustPilot readers 2. STAY AWAY FROM HAPPYO, HYNOZIO, AND ANY RELATED COMPANIES
****Final Update: Once again, I submitted a copy of the original invoice along with the order number and the email address I used when signing up.

Love this app. Know there are ones that are free and have used them. And it is as though i have built a trusted relationship with these hypnotherapists addressing these core challenges. There are other challenges i’d loved to see addressed. Perhaps you all will ask me about them. Thank you!
