Good backlinks, but poor communication and disappointing service

The backlinks themselves were solid — no issue with quality. But the overall experience didn’t reflect what I expected from a $1,000/month agency.

The onboarding call painted a picture of a true partnership — with regular updates, strategic feedback, and campaign adjustments based on performance. That never really happened. I had to initiate follow-ups just to get the first month’s recap. After canceling the recurring service, communication with my rep stopped completely. The only updates were generic emails stating when 1 of 5 and 5 of 5 backlinks were done — nothing personal, no strategy, no guidance.

I was also told I’d get a 10% discount for staying on recurring. But instead of seeing $100 returned or credited, I was told it would be “reinvested” into the campaign. I never saw any added value that reflected that — which effectively made it a $1,100 experience with little to no support.

If you’re looking for real strategy and strong engagement from your SEO team, this may not be the best-fit agency for you. I know some businesses prefer a hands-off approach, but I need to show my investors and partner where our marketing dollars are going — and how effective the campaigns are. This didn’t provide that level of accountability.

Took a bit longer to fulfill, because I had hard requirements but in the end I got a killer link and it alone already doubled the traffic of my site.

Complete waste of money! purchased a package then was suppose to have a review of the report, every hour they changed the meeting time, then after the meeting was supposed to happen no show. Then they sent me an email thanking me for meeting. No contact from them at all at this point. There are a lot of better services out there doing the same thing.
