When the staff were moving my stuff my TV accidentally broke. What I loved was that before the unpacking process was done management was already in contact with me acknowledging and apologized for the accident. The following day the full amount was reimbursed into my account and I purchased a new TV. The service was above and beyond, would recommend them to anyone.

Great service from beginning to end, Denise was very responsive and helped us with a quote and arranging a van at short notice. The driver was very helpful and efficient, helped us pack up the van, got to our destination and unpacked well within our booked timeframe. Would definitely use again.

The person who came for the move, was ahead of time, respectful and a thorough professional. As already aware, he went up and down the four floors without lift, without any complaints ! Very happy with the service. Pls forward my appreciation to him. Thank you

They caused damage to my flat, then they went radio silent when I tried to contact them for their “insurance”. No matter when I call the response is always “we will let you know today”.

That response yesterday, and after more than 3 weeks of chasing they just hang up on me when I call now.

Misleading advertisement to say the least

On time, friendly movers. Cheapest option I can find after comparing multiple moving companies. Boxes came a bit broken but still reusable and items inside are intact.

I had to get rid of some old stuff stored in my garden shed for years, and though junk disposal is not cheap to do nowadays, I am happy I did it. Called and luckily the van was available later on the day. Two guys with a box van came and took two piles of rubbish, lots of boxes, some old cuts of loose wood and bits. I would definitely use again.

I arranged collection of a pre-owned set of garden table and chairs my wife purchased on eBay. All was arranged but then I received an email saying if the glass on the table wasn't securely packed with bubble wrap the collection team would refuse to collect it.

The seller refused to bubble wrap the glass so I asked the company if this could be done for me. I was told it would cost approx £20 so I agreed. Later I received a phone call from them stating that they didn't have any bubble wrap and that they'd need to purchase it at a cost of £35 - again I agreed.

When the table arrived there was only one layer of thin bubble wrap. I complained stating that I had paid £35 for the bubble wrap which they hardly used. I hate to think how much bubble wrap you get for £35.

I contacted them and said that as I paid for the bubble wrap they should either partially refund me or send me the rest of it. I was then told that I had been wrongly informed and that £20 of ithe charge was the cost of delivering the bubble wrap. I just don't get it.

Don't use this RIP OFF company as they change the terms and conditions and what they say to suit themselves. I was also asked to make payment by bank transfer into a personal bank account. Very dodgy!

This is an update on my experience with Get Removals:

After my initial post they contacted me and said if I removed my original post they would refund £20 of the cost of the bubble wrap (Bribery!). I sent them my bank details but have NOT received any payment. I wouldn't trust this company at all. They say one thing to get you to use them then say they didn't say that and that you misunderstood what they said.

If you use this company after reading this and you suffer like I did then more fool you!

For TrustPilot. I have invoices to substantiate my dealings with this company;

Absolutely terrible. They're van broke down on they making then 2 hours late than first agree. Gave them another half hour and an hour goes by, their men still 'on the way'. Was supposed to be in my new home by late afternoon instead I'm not even out the old one. Completely untrustworthy and not efficient at all. Should have had a spare van for break downs. Terrible service and business.

Every time I leave a review for this company it is removed by trustpiolet because they cannot validate it. Let’s try again.

This company moved my 2 bed flat to a four bed house. They didn’t attend the agreed viewing and didn’t arrange for the correct size trucks (we made decisions based on their vast experience and recommendation) the movers themselves were rude and abrupt asking for cash as soo as they arrived (despite us paying on line) they furniture that was delivered arrived damaged. Despite claiming they have full insurance it took nearly a month to get a response and they refused to offer any insurance claim for me. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

My partner hired this company to move our flat. I was really unimpressed they seemed so professional on the phone and the price was excellent however the actual job of moving was a nightmare. Damaged furniture, rude moving staff and a real lack of planning on their part. I would not recommend.

I hate moving houses but I’ve come to find out moving offices comes with a lot more hassle than them still. No company can afford to stop working for a few days so we chose to turn to a reputable removal company and let them organise and handle the moving process. Definitely a prudent decision – we got help with packing, the office furniture and items were moved fast and the movers even helped us set up most of the things in the new place. Pretty decent price, too.

I recommend your company to everybody that wants to go through a stress-free and hassle-free relocation. Your movers handled the logistics of the task in a very precise and professional manner. Everything from the packing to the loading to the transportation of my belongings was carefully planned and organised. You can rarely find so friendly and dedicated movers, so don’t hesitate to contact them if you are moving from one place to another.
