Scam site

Same as the other reviews. Signed up and met all criteria for the free bet and they said free bet won’t be given as it’s at their discretion. Can’t even withdraw money luckily it’s not much but this must be an actual scam site

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!

One stars being generous. The most scamming like bookmakers out there . Every bloody week they do super sub on Europa and champions league . All through the group stages . Comes to the last 16 and turn it off leading the punters to believe it’s on . The biggest scam ever. Picks and chooses . Promotions are no good . Would avoid like the plague

Would avoid like the plague, I'm one of many recent customers (check all recent reviews) where they've offered a Cheltenham offer, deposited, placed bets and then I've got a random email to say the system has determined I'm not entitled to the sign up offer all of a sudden.

Spoke to customer support and they've basically said nobody can get access to the system so they can never confirm why 😂 It's 100% a scam just to get you to sign up. Don't be fooled.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. Signed up for the joining offer and wagered the £10 bet, meeting all conditions. When my bonus didn’t arrive I contacted them via live chat to be told that their systems have declined me for the bonus. When I asked why I was told that the system choose to decline some people and that was basically that. This seems to be a huge scam conning people around the time of high profile events like Cheltenham.

I would give a zero rating if I could.
SBK accepted me as a new customer, I then placed my initial £10 bet in good faith, but then they declined the ‘£10 get free bets’ joining offer!
Customer services didn’t want to know!!!
It seems this may be a scam as I see lots of others have had the same thing done to them!!
There are lots of good betting apps, don’t be fooled!

Urgent Complaint Regarding Suspended Account and Withheld Funds

Dear Smarkets Support Team,

I am writing to formally complain about the prolonged suspension of my Smarkets account, which has been inactive for over a year, despite my repeated attempts to comply with your verification requests. My account holds a significant balance of €4,665.30, and I have done everything requested to verify my identity and the source of my funds.

Initially, I was asked to provide identification and a statement of my deposits via Skrill, which I promptly submitted. Following that, I was required to present a third-party statement to verify the origin of my transactions. While I found this request questionable in terms of legality, I managed to convince the third party to provide the requested document.

However, after submitting the third-party statement, I was surprised to receive yet another request. This time, you asked for additional details about that person’s transactions, including movements involving yet another individual. You even requested an account statement from this other person. This level of inquiry is highly concerning, as it involves personal and private financial information that does not directly pertain to my account. I find these demands to be excessive, intrusive, and highly questionable from a legal and ethical standpoint.

Due to personal circumstances, including the impact of a severe storm (DANA) affecting my family, I had to momentarily pause my efforts to resolve this issue. However, I later contacted your support team again, requesting access to my funds, but received no response.

Instead, I recently received an email stating that my account has been inactive for 11 months and that, in accordance with your terms and conditions, my balance will begin to be deducted by €5 per month unless I log in. Given that I have already provided all requested documents and have not received a resolution, I find this unacceptable.

I am now resuming my efforts to resolve this matter and expect Smarkets to review my case fairly. I kindly request immediate action to either reactivate my account or allow me to withdraw my funds without further delays.

Please confirm receipt of this complaint and provide me with a clear resolution as soon as possible.
