Histamine and allergy/ food intolerance
I took both the Histamine Intolerance and Food Allergy & Intolerance tests from GetTested, and they were really easy to do. I’ve struggled with stomach and skin problems for over 20 years and didn’t know what to do anymore. Then I found these tests, and they changed everything. I discovered I have histamine intolerance and several food intolerances. After removing the problem foods from my diet—WOW 🤩 I feel like a new person! I finally have answers, and my symptoms have drastically improved.

Expect up to 1 x month to receive your results
I wanted to share my disappointment with the recent experience I had with your service. I submitted my blood tests as instructed, but only after the order was completed was I informed that I would have to wait a month to receive the results. This crucial detail was not mentioned at the time of ordering, which I find highly misleading.
Had I known about this delay in advance, I would have reconsidered using your service. Clear communication and transparency are basic expectations, especially when it comes to health-related matters. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning the reliability of your service and overall customer care.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work on improving your communication with future customers.

We understand your frustration, but we’d like to clarify that the timeline for receiving results is stated on the product page at the time of purchase. No other information is shown during checkout or anywhere else on our website. We never communicate anything different.
The reason it can take 10–15 business days to receive your results is due to several factors: accuracy, quality control, and processing time. We use laboratories that follow the same high standards as hospital laboratories and these are pretty standard waiting times within healthcare.

False positives
Brought 2 sti test and both gave false positives have since had swab test to confirm negative results for 2 people don't waste your money go to a clinic for reliable results alot of stress and worry for nothing

Poor Customer Services
In April I spent £70 on two PSA tests and, despite following the enclosed instructions, did not achieve the required blood necessary to give an accurate, or indeed any, result.
I have reached out to hello at gettested on three occasions and have yet to receive a response. Oddly, they seem to reply to customers who review them on here ahead of those who reach out to them directly.
So, the tests are expensive, instructions inadequate, and customer service non-existent. Avoid.

I contacted your company on 23rd April and 18th May by email, and on one more occasion whilst responding to a "how did we do' survey requesting someone got in touch. This was several weeks before your June absence. Unfortunately no one responded until this review was published - this is so poor and, sadly, predictable.
My order number was UK73366, so please feel free to respond to my email address, although I fail to see how you can rectify this experience given the tests have expired.

I am dismayed with the delay to receive results
Updates: My sample haemolysed due to the wait even though the same blood draw was split into three and sent to two other clinics that processed them ok. I was provided a prompt refund and am satisfied with the outcome so can only award a higher rating on that basis of rectifying my issue.....Initial Review was 2* - I was dismayed to find that the results of this test take about 4 weeks. This is really unhelpful and unnecessary compared to other companies providing a similar service and it isn't cheap considering the delay. In my case timing was critical to get the results and use them to adjust and help me understand before future treatment. I will stick with randox or medichecks in future where the customer service is excellent. NB: Added note 10th June - Accuracy isn't improved by lengthening the process. Keeping the samples in a fridge because you have a queue of other samples to test doesn't enhance the sample. It isn't clearly stated, hence my review. You have to scroll right down the web page to find the information. These timescales are 'typical in healthcare settings' should elaborate further. If you are referring to the NHS for example, that is a public health service under a lot of pressure and sometimes results take longer. If it is a private health service many blood results are same day or next day unless they require further culture or sequencing. For the amount you charge, you should be giving private healthcare service. Hopefully this review will reach people before they make the same mistake.

Depending on when in the week your sample arrives at the lab, this may span over 3–4 calendar weeks — for example, if your sample is received on a Wednesday, 15 working days can easily stretch across four weeks.
We always aim to strike a balance between speed and accuracy — but accuracy is our top priority. This means we don’t want to rush any part of the process at the expense of quality. Every analysis is carefully performed, reviewed, and validated to ensure the highest possible reliability of your results.
These timeframes are standard in healthcare settings, and we work with ISO-certified laboratories that follow the same strict protocols as hospital labs.

Very happy with the overall service
I tested for the histamine intolerance and thankfully was all in order. This test was part of my own investigation to get to the bottom of my gut issues.
I recommend them for any tests they can provide, professional, easy and straightforward, at a better price than my local clinics.
