We stayed in the 'Little Cottage' which was perfect, so clean and well equiped. View's were breathtaking and a lovely little village near by.
Hannah & Dean were a pleasure to meet and they couldnt do enough for us. Made us feel so welcome.
And the alpaca experience was wonderful, highly recommend it. So relaxing.
Thankyou so much Hannah & Dean
Shhuuuush...don't tell anyone about this place
It's not very often we are reluctant to leave a review, but we want to keep Geufron Farm a secret. Set within the Snowdonia National Park, the views from The Cowshed and grounds are breathtaking. The accommodation is charming.
The location is great for days out and Hannah & Dean provide a wealth of information on places to see and visit.
We were blessed with glorious weather, but should that not be the case, kindling is available for the fire in the lounge which would be perfect on a cold evening.
We can't wait to visit this glorious part of Wales again.
Gorgeous property!
We had the most amazing, relaxing stay here. The Barn is gorgeous inside with absolutely stunning views outside. The property is clean and well equipped with everything you need for a great stay. I could have stayed here forever!
Amazing holiday
I had the most amazing holiday at the Old Farm House with my dogs. It was a relaxing week with the house being in a stunning and picturesque location with gorgeous views, just what I was after.
Everywhere was clean and tidy and my bed was very comfortable. My dogs loved the garden and a very well maintained dog paddock.
Exploring the local area was very easy from the house as several beaches, waterfalls and nearby towns are all within a few minutes drive.
I am already planning my next stay there and can't wait to return. Would recommend.
The perfect short stay
A perfect location to enjoy the beautiful countryside. On our arrival we were met by a stunning sunset over the valley that really kicked our break off in style.
The cottage was just right for the two of us and our two dogs - a comfortable bed for the humans and plenty of space for the dogs.
The guide app was really helpful and meant we made the most of our 3 days; the beach walk at Tywyn, the Dolgoch Falls, taking the dogs to sit on a sofa to watch a film at wonderful Magic Lantern cinema, the superb dinners at the Peniarth Arms and the Proper Gander were all excellent. Oh, and the Wood & Wool shop in Tywyn too!
The walking field for the dogs worked very well and we even got to see a red kite overhead just before we left.
Overall, just what we wanted from a short break.
Thank you very much. Diolch yn fawr iawn!!

Having booked the little cottage for a short break over Valentine’s Day and my husband’s birthday.. it was just lovely to snuggle down for a week with the log burner and just relax and take things easy. Very cosy and warm. Beach walks and then home to the fire and a lovely meal. Really enjoyed our time in the little cottage.🥰

We had a lovely stay at the Little Cottage. We went in late November, and the cottage was beautiful and warm, especially with the wood burner on. It was spotless, and the bed was super comfy after a day of walking the hills and valleys of Wales! The dog field was perfect for our greyhound, and there were even extra poo bags on the gate and a poo bin! The owners have thought of everything. Having the EV charger there was such a treat! Wonderful to charge the car up overnight, ready for our adventures the next day. For us, with a dog and an electric car - it was absoltely perfect! Hope to stay there in the future on our next adventure to Wales.
What an amazing place
What an amazing place. Great for the dogs had everything we needed and more. Hannah and dean great communication, 100 percent recommend. See you soon
Lovely cosy Little Cottage
We stayed for 3 nights at the little cottage with our 2 dogs. What a special place, really cosy with lots of walks on your doorstep. The cottage was clean and the dog treats and towels were a lovely touch. Diolch Hannah a Dean, we will be back.
What a wonderful place
What a wonderful place! We stayed in the Little Cottage, which is just perfect for two (and a dog). The view from the sitting room is sublime. Great dog walks on the doorstep and lots of fabulous places to visit. Do not miss Castell y Bere - that was the highlight of our trip.
Hannah and Dean have done an incredible job of creating a great place to stay. They are on hand but not remotely intrusive. We’ve absolutely loved it here.

Beautiful little cottage that is both comfortable and extremely well equipped. So lovely that the dogs had also been thought of, they really enjoyed their treats. We will definitely be back!!
Great base for a quiet holiday.
Shame about the terrible weather, but we enjoyed our week at Geufron Farm. All good for a relaxing break. We were in the Cowshed which was comfortable and well appointed. Everything had been thought of and all nice and clean. No doggy smell! The bed was very comfortable, much to my relief.
The views alone make it worth visiting. For younger and more mobile folk the walks are endless.
We had private parking and a secure run for our little Yorkie. She also enjoyed racing around the dog field. Charging is available for electric cars.
Tywyn is only a few minutes away in the car and has a really nice promenade and beach. There is a very good CoOp for food supplies and several excellent take-aways and restaurants. We highly recommend the local pub in Brycrug.
I had taken OS maps intending to travel round the area but we found ourselves soaking up the atmosphere, reading etc and generally lounging around.
We do intend to stay again.

Geufron Farm is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in Y Caban which is really lovely, well equipped with everything you will need, thoughtfully furnished and spotlessly clean and not forgetting an amazing view. Our puppy thoroughly enjoyed her stay too, especially the dog welcome pack with biscuits included!
Great communication from the owners. Thank you for making our stay so special.
Geufron Farm is just amazing…….
Geufron Farm is just amazing from the minute you arrive until you have to leave 😁 the location is beyond fantastic and Dean and Hannah are perfect hosts making sure your holiday is the best. We stayed in the Old Farmhouse and Little Cottage with exclusive use of the amazing swimming pool which we all used every day. Special memories we will treasure forever ❤️ Thankyou.
Everything & More
I had a fantastic stay in Y Caban, with sea views, it was fully equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday, and more!! Dog friendly, having a fence around made for a very relaxing stay, also a dog walking area with views to die for. This is one of the best places I've stayed in for a long time, and im definitely looking forward to going
back.
Great Geufron Farm Stay.
We just wanted to share my wonderful experience at Geufron Farm in Wales. It’s the perfect place to base yourself for a stay, with a variety of accommodation options to suit different needs. We chose the Y Caban, and it was just right for us and our furry friend.
The Y Caban is nestled in a secluded spot, and the view from the large front windows is simply breathtaking. You can watch the weather roll in and the twinkling lights of the town in the evening. It’s so relaxing to sit out on the enclosed decked area and know that our dog is safe and sound.
The dog field is spacious and perfect for him to run around and burn off some energy. It’s also well-fenced from the nearby sheep, alpacas, and track leading to the cottages.
One of the nicest touches is the doggy welcome pack and a towel for him to use during our stay. They even left a tray of tea, coffee, milk, and sugar for us to make a brew before we unpacked. If you have the time, we highly recommend indulging in an Alpaca experience too.
Hannah and Dean are absolute masters at making your stay comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, there’s a hot shower, and the double bed is spacious. They even stocked the cottage with little extras like shower gel, hand wash, tea towels, and towels. It’s so thoughtful that if you forget something, it’s likely to be included in the cottage.
On a personal note, we want to thank Hannah and Dean for going above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. Some vehicle problems and put our car out of action. They offered to pick us up and take us to the site, knowing we had a young dog with us. They then ran us into town to get our initial provisions, recommended local garages that might help us, frequently checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, and offered to be of assistance if we needed anything. A thank you isn’t enough for their support and kindness.
The online e-guide is super informative. It’s packed with information about your stay, local walks, places to eat, bus timetables, visitor attractions, and so much more.
We highly recommend Geufron Holiday Cottages and will definitely be booking again next year. It was an amazing experience!
If we could give a 100 star review we would do!.
A lovely break away
We had a lovely break away at Geufron Farm. We stayed in Y Caban which was a 4 bed static. It wouldn't fit 4 adults but as it was 2 of us and 3 dogs, all was fine.
The local pub was great, with lovely food and the beach was perfect for the dogs, miles of sea and sand. They LOVED it!
We had an issue with out WiFi, not the fault of Geufron, but it was reported and fixed immediately. Hannah and Dean were very attentive and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us, and it was!
A lovely week at Geufron Farm
A lovely week at Geufron Farm
Very well located to access local shops and restaurants in Tywyn and both coastal and countryside walks. The very cosy Cowshed had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the walk on Cemetery Beach to Aberfydi, the walk up behind the farm, Dolgoch Falls, climbing Cadair Idris, and the steam train ride.
