Ghee it up is 100% cultured and produced in the most traditional way. We do not source butter and melt it to produce ghee as most do, but instead take pride in our process. We locally source the best organic cream made from grass-fed cows which is fermented by introducing an ideal microbial culture to produce live yoghurts. The live yoghurts are churned to produce cultured butter and left to mature which intensifies the flavour. The cultured butter is then simmered gently until the water evaporates and the milk solid is completely removed, resulting in a golden liquid that is divine and carries all the properties that a ghee should. We do not include any plastic in production or packaging, all our packaging is made from recycled materials.
