High-end at very reasonable prices.
I ordered two custom made ICEpower 250ASX2 500w mono power-amps from Ghent Audio.
Mr. Ghent himself was very helpful and informative during the whole process of building and testing.
The price was 1850 USD for the whole thing including shipping with UPS and some very nice XLR and Speaker cables. This is very reasonable if you compare to other high-end brands that uses the 250ASX2 class D amp in their product.
When the package arrived here in Denmark, the amps were packed very securely, and the sound is just beautiful and clear. Never have my Shahinian speakers been driven to this potential (That is an issue of taste I guess). I also opened the amps to look inside, and everything is organised and wired to perfection. It is very clear to me that Mr. Ghent and his coworkers has extensive technical skills, and gives their work much love and attention.
