Got 2 50$ gift cards from work. Tried 6 different places none of them work. All declined. So embarrassing. I will make sure my company doesn’t use them again.
Their team is responding below but nobody is actually sending me an email as they’re promising down below. Unbelievable. Nowhere to respond to their response either.

I received a $200 GiftCard Mall card as a work bonus, and within five minutes of activating it, the entire balance was gone. I did not use the card or share the details with anyone.
I reported the issue immediately. It has now been 30 days, and I have received no resolution, no replacement, and no meaningful update. Customer service has been slow and unhelpful, offering no clear explanation or timeline.
This appears to be either fraud or a serious system failure, yet GiftCard Mall has shown no urgency in resolving it. For a company that handles prepaid cards, this level of security and customer support is unacceptable.
I would not recommend GiftCard Mall, especially for high-value cards. If something goes wrong, you may be left without your money and without answers.

Registered card on the website they provided and within minutes there were bogus charges to it. What a scam. The card packaging had never been opened.

Received a gift card and tried to register card. Couldn’t do it online since it wanted the 16 digit card number and my card only had a 15 digit card number.
I called customer service (not accurately named) and waited for 15 minutes. Finally spoke with someone who then transferred my to someone else that didn’t answer the phone - after 20 minutes I hung up. I imagine the company is very profitable with people giving them money then never having to return any.

I received a gift card from my employer for 300.00. Went to the website to register my card. While in the parking lot of the mall. I tried to use it but it kept declining. I called to check the balance, 299.00 was charged by a reseller company immediately after I registered the card. Now I have to wait 90 days for a response to my dispute. This is beyond frustrating.

My amount was $100 when I used my gift card to check in to their website. I went shopping, and by the time I checked out in Pittsburgh, my card had been used by someone in California. It was awkward and painful. Don't use their website to check your balance, let the store do it for you.

Grandmother got me a visa for christmas, and I was trying to order something, and I check my balance and an unauthorized transaction was made for over 3/4 of my original balance!!! DO NOT USE!

Recieved a gift card as a present. I registered the gift card through the correct website. Tried to use the card 30 mimutes later. The transaction was declined. I checked the balance and there was a transaction for the total amount on the card made to Bet Rivers.com in Chicago, I live in Texas. When I tried to dispute the charge via phone. There was a message that thier registration portal had issues. There were addtional securtiy messures that were not there when I activated the card. They were either Hacked and haven't reported it or they know anout the scammers. Do not buy these as gifts. They are a complete scam. I sugest everyone that's been scammed to file a report to the FTC as I am. They can't refund the money but maybe they can stop the scam from happing to someone else.
Edited to add: Maurice From giftcard mall has reached out through trust pilot. Maurice if you would like to reach out and make this right you can email me with the email attached to the card ending in 4715. Reaching out through trustpilot with a link to add more details here without any specifics of what you need is unhelpful and apears to be disingenuous. I gave the date, amount of the charge, the betting site and the city it was charged in. My name is on this review. You can go through your records and find me to reach out but you haven't.

Total scam and impossible to resolve. Got 3 gift cards as a work anniversary gift, and not an insignificant amount. I did not try to activate or register any of the cards, but I did call the number to check the balance on one of the cards. Said I had a $100 balance on the card. I tried to use it at Lowes for a small purchase and was declined. I checked the balance again and it was $0. The entire amount of $100 was immediately stolen and charged to Draftkings.com. I suspect the # I called on the back of the card is a scammer # and once you enter the card information they steal the money. The cards are paper as well, not legit. It is impossible to get any kind of customer service. I'm afraid to even try to use the other cards, as they have significant balances, (allegedly). Scam company needs to be investigated and shut down.

This is probably the most thoughtful scam i have ever seen. The website asks you to enter your card info, cleans the balance off the card and when you call the number on the card, it tells you to enter your information again on the keypad so they can make sure they did a good job cleaning your balance out. Total scam. Beware.

My attempts to reach "customer service" left me more anger than I was to begin with. There are several transactions on my card I DIDN'T make! On their website, I was under the impression that I could call customer service if I had any issues with the website. I call and all I get is, "thank you for calling..." an automated response designed to force me to leave personal information. They said they'd leave a form in an email for me to fill out and to return to them. They continued to say it would take up to four weeks for them to respond. I have lost $200.00 due to someone else using my card - I don't want to wait four weeks, I want to talk with a live, a real person to talk to about my issues!

What 's going on with these stores?
My friend gave me a $50 gift cards. I tried to use them at two different stores, but both were declined. When I called customer service, and they said the card is still active and have money. But it still doesn't work. It feels like a scam. People pay for these cards, but the person receiving them can’t even use.

Received these cards for Christmas last year. I’ve tried using my gift cards numerous times and they keep getting declined even though money is on the gift card and I verified with merchants they accept card. Spending way too much time dealing with customer service. Interestingly enough the day following my last interaction with my gift card rep and emailing card information, the card has fraudulent charges on it. I now have to dispute charges and wait for a new card to be issued and mailed to me. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

I had a 200 dollar gift card and went to check my balance got a error, and then I found out the company changed the name to just gift cards.com but by the time I checked the balance over there the card had been cleared out of money

My mother sent me one for Christmas 12/25/24, I JUST NOW remembered I had it. I thought awesome! $50 cool! Nope.... Someone had gotten a hold of it (shipped through Amazon) made a bunch of online gaming purchases. I'm currently still on hold (after an hour) and no one can tell me why or how... They just keep transferring me. They don't care and at 8am on a Sunday, they are making me feel like an inconvenience for something I didn't even do.
UPDATE- They just called me back with no answer on the other end, so I had to get back in the wait line on the phone. UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!
UPDATE2- Got to talk to a supervisor and now "they are making an exception" for my troubles. Also, fast tracking the replacement.
UPDATE #3: 2 MONTHS LATER HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A GIFT CARD!

Pure scam. Received a card, cant use it. Customer service says it was blocked but can't say why and nothing they can do about it.

Just the worst thing I've ever been through. I'd sooner give a friend poisoned fish than any card connected to this cesspool. First the money's stolen from the account, then I report the theft, then they send the new card, but the new card retains the same amount left after thievery, then I can't sign on to the website. Would anyone consider this a good gift?

These cards are a total scam, bought a DEBIT VISA card as a gift for a friend when they attempted to use it it was declined so I got the card back from her went online to check balance it said it had a balance of $100 so I tried once again to use it and was declined again so I just set it aside. Went online again to try and find out what was going on with this card and it told me it had a zero balance, a transaction had been made for the total balance at Cellcom in Richmond ???? Should have never bought a gift card from a store paid a service fee, safer sending cash as a gift
