DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Would rate zero stars if I could! Received one of their hampers as a gift this morning from a dear friend who thought it would cheer me up post partum. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement! Not sure how much she paid for this but I know she will have been seriously overcharged. Cheap looking box with cheap quality items inside, awful presentation of the box and the labels inside look like they’ve been printed on somebody’s home printer. Whole lot will be going in the bin as it’s not even useable. Worst gift I’ve ever received.

Received a hamper for my birthday and as I pulled each item out you could see the look of horror on my friends face! It looked like a bunch of freebies from a hotel room and I swear most of the stuff was from home bargains. Total cost must have been about £5 and no idea what they paid. My friend came around earlier to give me an Amazon voucher and a bunch of flowers as she was so embarrassed! Every item went in the bin except one face mask which was def from home bargains as I’ve brought it before for 99p! 🤦‍♀️

Mothers Day Afternoon Tea

This was an afternoon tea bought as a present for mothers day. Great idea. Nice surprise. The box it came in was very promising, looked great with ribbon around. However the scones and cakes were not nice, full of additives and preservatives. We had a bite of a scone just to say we had one. Not nice. The best thing was the Yorkshire Tea sachets and the Bonne Mamam jam pots , five stars for these and the box.

I ordered a large malteser easter on the 26/3/24. I received on the 3/4/24 a hamper containing a mixture of sweets, jelly sweets, all sorts etc. Needless to say I wasn't very happy. After sending 2 emails eventually I received one asking what the problem was, even though I had given this information before. I also sent them a photograph of the hamper I had received. They then asked for the order number and said they didn't have any record of it. After further emails and no responses I have given up trying to resolve this issue. One thing I know I will never use them again or recommend them. Their customer service are none existent!

Spent money on a small hamper for my daughter. Certainly not what I ordered and a custard cream and small chocolate chip cookie was sent along with 2 mint tea bags instead of rose hip. It did not look like the picture and will not be buying from them again. Rip off

Not worth the money and items missing.

A kind friend treated us to a couple's film night chocolate fondue hamper and paid extra for double choc muffins. The box arrived with no burner, no melting chocolate and no extra muffins. I tried to resolve the matter myself by emailing and using the online contact form but the supplier has never responded to me. Sadly my friend had to deal with them and a week later we received the missing burner and melting chocolate but never did get the muffins. Having to sort it all out really soured the whole experience for all of us. Even if everything had been there I wouldn't waste your money - the portions are ridiculously small for what is meant for two people. e.g. you get 5x kebab sticks but only 4 marshmallows to put on them but with only 30 chocolate buttons to melt that's about all you could manage to fondue anyway. They are all the tiniest packets possible and there is even only one small 250ml bottle of coke for two. The illustration is very misleading showing more popcorn and drinks around the box which are not included in it. There was no apology for not supplying what was paid for, indeed getting them to believe the items were missing at all was difficult - the missing burner and melting chocolate was sent reluctantly and my friend gave up on getting the missing muffins supplied. Everyone can make mistakes but not even bothering to reply to my two communications is very poor. I would not use this supplier based on this experience.

Avoid at all costs.

The only thing worse than these hampers is their customer service. My husband paid £23.99 plus postage for a Mother's Day Hamper, what we received did not relate to any of the products that was being sold. He contacted them on the Monday following and as of 8 days later, nothing has been resolved. Messages take 24 hours to be read and answered. The last 2 messages we sent have been ignored. Please do not waste your money on these hampers, the quality of the food is appalling. Cheap items being repackaged and resold as luxury.

£25 Hampers contain just over £5 worth of contents. Underhanded to deal with!

Three hampers bought at £25 each through Amazon, which looked really nice in the photos. When they arrived I was really disappointed. My wife costed the contents at just over £5.00, which sickened me. Gifthamperz enclose a leaflet requesting that customers email them before leaving a negative review, so that's what I did. I included the draft of my review and asked them to contact me, or I would post my review. Gifthamperz emailed me asking what I wanted. Note that at this point Gifthamperz we're not claiming that I had breached Amazon feedback policy, or made threats. I replied requesting a 50% refund, which I consider to be reasonable as the mark up on the contents of the hampers was 5 times! And Gifthamperz asked me what I wanted! Gifthamperz emailed me back stating that they had reported me for breaching Amazon feedback rules by making threats! I contacted Amazon, who confirmed that Gifthamperz had breached Amazon feedback policies as they are not allowed to include leaflets requesting that dissatisfied customers contact them before leaving negative feedback. (Gifthamperz apparently forgot to tell Amazon that they had done this when they reported me to Amazon!) Amazon issued me a full refund on the basis that the goods were unsatisfactory. I am very grateful to Amazon for this, but its a shame that it is out of Amazon's pocket and not Gifthamperz, as not only are their hampers a gross rip off, but additionally, when you have the decency to contact them at their request before leaving a negative review, they show their true colours as to how nasty and underhanded they are!
