Givecloud's integration with other software (DonorPerfect in our experience) has come a long way. They are constantly improving this connection to make admin/back-end work seamless. When issues do arise, the Givecloud chat support is consistently one of the most helpful online chat supports I have ever encountered. Their new fundraising forms are easy to use as well, and look so slick!
Questions and requests are answered. Not all the time as quickly as needed, but good customer service.

Everything about GiveCloud is awesome. As soon as we switched to GiveCloud, we say about a 9% boost in donations, and a heavy increase in monthly donations as well. The app is beautiful and easy to use, and the support is fast and helpful.
Lack of support. Inability for us to get ahold of support staff in timely manner.
System does not do basic functions as we anticipated.
It is a bit difficult getting support mainly due to time difference and I hope it will be available in the near future.

THE HIGHLIGHTS: After pondering over this for a while, Givecloud does produce the best donation forms in the world and deserves 5 stars. Being in the web design realm myself, I give extremely high praise to what Givecloud has created. The overall design and user experience are truly impressive. Beyond aesthetics, they're built for ease of use, which could very well lead to a boost in your donations. Speed-wise, they're on point—no loading delays at all. And the best part? They're "free" and integrate smoothly into any website.
AREAS TO CONSIDER: Givecloud has an interesting monetization model where donors can opt to "cover the cost" to contribute a bit extra, say 7%, 10%, or 14% of the initial donation. These percentages might fluctuate, but it's how Givecloud generates revenue. In essence, when someone decides to 'cover the cost,' they're essentially covering your fee to use the Givecloud platform. If the donor chooses not to "cover the cost", Givecloud doesn't make any money at all. It's a unique approach, and worth considering if it aligns with your preferences.
Keisha was as dynamic, interested in my needs and as helpful as when she was doing a nationwide webinar I viewed. She truly listened to me and expertly guided me through understanding the Givecloud experience. She was kind and patient with this old boomer (my term not hers) who needed to understand how Givecloud will benefit our non-profit. This young woman is gold for Givecloud!

The "upsell" function is aweful - you cannot customize it or choose the amounts or calculations on the amount to upsell a person. It offers most our donors to upgrade their one-time donation and become a monthly donor for $9 or $19 ? Why $9 or $19? Those are the most random amounts. This really should not be hard to change and it needs work. You should be able to customize the way Givecloud calculates the "upsell" into monthly donations.

I like that our donors can see their donation history.
I like that I can log in as a donor & process the donation if that is what they want me to do.
I dislike that help and chat is not real time and I have to wait for the answer but understand the issue since you are based in Australia and I am in the US.
I want to give a call out to Kimberly A. She persevered with me on an issue until it was resolved.
I find the increase in costs by a whole percentage point to be much too high. Especially because we are already paying banking fees on top of that.
You also do not have an option to do consolidated receipting for monthly donors and at the same time do real-time receipting for one-time gifts. I don't know another any other platform that has that issue.

Our organization has been using Givecloud as it interfaces with DonorPerfect. I am not the one who sets up the forms, etc, that we use for events and some merchandise as well. However, I am the one who has to make sure all the info is entered into DonorPerfect as well as into QuickBooks so that it all reconciles with what comes in from the bank. My comments will be based only from my perspective.
The info from GC comes in seamlessly to DP - for the most part. However, one of the "required" fields for our downloads to QB, is "Type of Gift" and that comes in blank. which means going in and tweaking each entry one by one. Ideally this field would state "GIVECLOUD". Additionally, the "reference number" field comes over with too many characters in it, so that also needs tweaking. Third, as these payments go through STRIPE, a fee is taken out of each one, which should be entered in DP and of course QB as well. So 3 edits per transaction.
The issue I have is that the "date" of the transaction does not seem to necessarily match the date in STRIPE, so I then have to spend a considerable amount of time, deciphering which donations match which deposits.
as far as the forms, and ease of use, etc, that is another person setting that up, and i believe they are very happy with it. I have also been told that the customer service is great, but i haven't had any personal experience with it.

Our organization has been with GC for many years now, and we have seen the company grow -with that growth, they've made countless upgrades to its software. And those upgrades have only made life easier for our administrative team handling the backend.

The sponsorship module works well. However, not seen any major upgrades to it since we started using it in 2018. I would say this is the only part of their software that is long overdue for an upgrade, but it works well for its purpose.
I would recommend this software to anyone without second thoughts. Thanks GC team.
