It was a pleasure working with GivePenny on our virtual challenge event this May. The team are friendly, accommodating and helpful, and always suggested new things that would help us work towards achieving our fundraising target. The supporter journey provided was excellent and ensured that participants received regular updates and support throughout the challenge
I love the Spotify fundraising feature on GivePenny. I took on Demelza Hospice Care for Children's Miles in May running challenge, in which I had to run 37 miles during the month of May.
I used this feature to encourage my friends and family to sponsor a song on my running playlist. I told them it could be something nostalgic, funny or something they know I hate to really ramp up my challenge - and they fully embraced this request!
This feature meant that my donors felt more emotionally connected to my challenge and every time I went running, I felt like they were really behind me. Each song reminded me of a memory of that person.
For example, one friend had a habit of requesting the Gummi Bears Theme Tune on nights out. Unsurprisingly it wasn’t played by a single DJ, but it made it onto my running playlist and it always made me smile.
Even though the challenge is over, I still have this playlist to go back to.
I have found the GP platform the best and most interactive fundraising tool available. I have used many platforms over the last decade but for engagement, community building, donations and value, GP is light years ahead! I recommend them to anyone who wants to take fundraising to the next level!
I work for a charity that uses GivePenny as their fundraising platform for events and challenge and this is the coolest platform out there. It offers a unique fundraiser experience by where they can track their progress, link up their Strava/Fitbit and even add a Spotify playlist to their fundraising page. It is user friendly and has so many great features.
The team at GivePenny are super helpful and always on hand to support and answer any questions i have.
