If there is an abusive manager, and a hundred past employees wanted to warn you about it, glassdoor will not publish it.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

An absolutely useless platform to look…
An absolutely useless platform to look for the jobs. Lately, I have noticed that by the looks of it around 90% employers seem to advertise the available roles as a HR Formality only and they are not keen to recruit the new faces, as when we apply for the roles we get an email from that employer that the role has already been filled in whereas there is still a 2-3 weeks closing time for the role.
Horrible website
Horrible website, impossible to get any information without creating an account and going through 20 pages of reviewing a company because "you haven't reviewed a company in the last 12 months".
It used to provide insightful informnation back in the day.
Now it's impossible to read anything on the website. Further to that, some companies can remove the bad reviews by simply reporting them and Glassdoor promptly hides the review *cough cough the kitchen company with a small bird logo**
There's no point in writing a review…
There's no point in writing a review since they remove them!!!!
You can't delete your account!
I signed up for glassdoor to read reviews about a company I was interested in (you can't read the full reviews without an account - first red flag missed). This opened the (glass) door for a a daily series of spam emails, which despite selecting "unsuscribe" did not stop. So I tried to delete my account, but instead was taken to a help page, then invited to send an email to glassdoor requesting to delete my account. This resulted in yet another email from glassdoor with a link to delete my account, which took me back to the very same help page! So instead I requested my personal data to be deleted, and was told to expect a response in 30-days. I'm now stuck in a revolving glass door of spam emails
Dog shit
Dog shit. Just as LinkedIn does, they make it near-impossible to delete your account too, after you realize just how dog shit it is. Job recommendation have nothing to do with my skills/experience.
A compromised organisation who doesn’t seems to be legitimately concerned about the realities and general genuine disappointing
You must subscribe to read the reviews, so the 1 star it’s legitimate for the outstanding crap management together all the rest of their creepy Clients which they titled themselves as companies to work for . I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who got scammed from either parties.
Dear Glassdoors creators, this matter it’s your responsibility as well, don’t forget that justice still working around and soon people who suffered will stand up!
Promises it doesn't remove reviews
Promises it doesn't remove reviews. But instantly removes any bad reviews you leave. Don't trust the ratings for companies.
Can't look at anything unless committed to writing reviews for them.
I am currently looking for a job and would like to look at reviews for company's I am applying for. Glassdoor won't let you do anything until you have either left a review, or something similar.
This makes me not want to use it. I just want to be able to see reviews without commitment.
It's getting ridiculous, I'd rather not use Glasadoor and look on Indeed etc instead.
It makes me not want to use it, and when I have got through to the reviews, this is only after I have made up a fake salary for a company. There are never any negative reviews which is different to other review websites like Indeed, which implies they are only allowing positive reviews to be shown. Which is very misleading.
The most useless and pathetic website
The most useless and pathetic, like a blackmailing site. Trash.
They keep fake companies that have names as the real ones. The results are shown on Google under the fake names but influencing in a negative way the real companies.
‐1 for being suck trash
Useless site
Useless site. You cannot leave honest negative criticism as they protect the big companies, they are all in it together.
TJX manager told a malicious complaint…
A TJX store manager told a malicious complaint on me because he was racist towards black people and the complaint got me dismissed. Racism is high in that specific store TKMAXX in Worcester with the store manager Kris Manning black people avoid shopping there and spend your hard earned cash with these racist people
Tried to look up a company and informed…
Tried to look up a company and informed that in order to view reviews on Glassdoor, one must register an account. Okay. Done. Tried to view reviews only to be told I have to first leave a review. This information was not given when informed I had to make an account or I would not have done so, passing on personal information.
Be aware of this should you want to look up a company without having an account.
Glassdoor is for moaners with nothing better to do
The website started with good intentions and has turned into a place to anonymously moan, defile and incite negativity! I would be more inclined to AVOID companies who have good ratings on Glassdoor. Glassdoor you have completely lost your way and frankly I don't know how you all sleep at night. When you make contact with them, they don't reply.
⭐️ 1 STAR
⭐️ 1 STAR — WORST REVIEW SITE EVER
Absolutely terrible experience. The site constantly fails to load content, and once something goes wrong, there's no way to go back or re-submit your review. Even worse, they clearly don’t fact-check anything — false or misleading reviews are left up without question, damaging reputations with zero accountability. Unprofessional, unreliable, and a complete waste of time. Avoid at all costs.
Utter Incompetence, Tech Bugs & GDPR Violations
This is an employer review. Their platform is built on utter incompetence and indifference to UK GDPR laws.
After 1 week of complaints, I was unable to create a corporate profile. I only saw job seeker menus, or system errors.
They sold/shared my data with 3rd parties without permission. Fortunately, I had signed up with a temporary corporate email, with numbers, which is easily disposable, but that is hardly the point.
When confronted about GDPR violations they try to excuse their behaviour as relying on California Privacy Laws. This is irrelevant. All firms selling into the UK or EU must abide by UK laws.
We had planned to post jobs there. We will use a UK platform instead.
Bot customer service hoarding my personal data
My review attempts keep getting immediately and automatically removed without rationale even after accepting it months before. This has been going on for nearly a year. Once i finally DO get a response from customer service, it’s from a bot telling me my content is not appropriate due to me leaving more than one review?! Completely incorrect. I can see i am not alone in this. What a pointless website.
After submitting so much personal data just to deal with combative bots, I have deleted my account so they no longer access my information.
Crap service
Crap service, I already left a review of where i worked but every time I go back onto it I have to do another. Absolute rubbish.
Would give minus stars if I could
Would give minus stars if I could! Terrible organization who allow anyone to access your information and make unsolicited calls to you from unknown mobile numbers … even at the weekends!!! I Reluctantly signed up to Glassdoor as they force you to in order to access any information that may be of use. Within 2 days of signing up I was being called and messaged from mobile numbers which had automated voices telling me to add their number to WhatsApp so they could discuss job opportunities - considering the platform does not even know what work I do … I can’t imagine what these job offers could be! - totally regret signing-up … avoid these Scammers who pass on your information to other scammers!
Why am I getting text messages from a …
Why am I getting text messages from a mobile number requesting option in working one hour/day for between £50<£300 processing data. This is obviously a scam - keep away from this BS
