We have ordered a very stylish wardrobe to complete our new bedroom extension, and found Lynn to be very helpful and knowledgeable, arranging delivery and assembly. Just looking forward to being in a position to have it fitted !

Went into Glasswells at Bury St Edmunds yesterday .. was looking for Orla Kiely Sofas… a lovely lady called Christine came over to help… she was so helpful and made the whole experience fun and Relaxed… what a wonderful member of Staff ..she deserves to be mentioned..a valuable member of your Team in Bury…

I knew what I wanted, but salesman was very efficient in getting order completed.

Nigel was really knowledgeable and very helpful when explaining all the different options available when my dad was purchasing a riser recliner chair.

Everything was explained clearly and there was no hard sales pressure.

After my initial contact with Lawrence Watson at the store, I was almost decided on the make and model of furniture I wanted. Lawrence was extremely helpful, but I still needed to decide on the fabric and pattern that would go well with my current décor. I was also unsure whether to opt for a recliner upgrade on the sofa and/or armchair.

Lawrence very kindly provided me with estimates on various options of sofas, chairs, cushion configurations, recliner or non-recliner, together with dimensions for each piece of furniture which I took home with me to assess the space I had available.

That same evening, I contacted the store and spoke to Lawrence to ask if it would be possible to loan a couple of the fabric sample books overnight to assess how the lighting & other soft furnishings would affect the look of the new furniture. Lawrence confirmed that would be okay and suggested speaking to Adrian Capper when I picked up the sample booklets in his absence.

I returned to the store the next day to pick up the fabric sample booklets and with some further questions that I posed to Adrian. I was most appreciative of the advice on the the recliner options given by him which prevented me from making a costly mistake as I was seriously considering this option. However, I wanted the flexibility of being able to rotate all cushions which would not have been possible with the recliner option.

At all times, both Lawrence and Adrian were patient and on hand, when needed, to answer any questions I posed without being overbearing or pushy, and nothing was too much trouble. Adrian was extremely knowledgeable about the products and services offered by Glasswells and I would have no hesitation in recommending the store, Lawrence, and Adrian for their 5 star service that made my purchase a pleasurable one.

As an aside, Adrian also helped me out with another purchase I had made a couple of days previously, and I am most grateful for his assistance in this matter too. Thank you!

We have previously used Glasswells at Bury St Edmunds and have always been pleased with their service. Due to our home being flooded, we’re again needing to buy a number of items of furniture. We are very thankful for the service from Alistair. With his knowledge, patience and effort, he went above and beyond to make sure he could advise us and produce an accurate quotation, for lounge and dining furniture, for us to present to the insurance company. We were also very impressed by Matthew’s knowledge of wardrobes, and the advice he gave us when putting together a design and quotation. We look forward to being able to order the furniture when we know the date our home will be restored. Thank you Alistair and Matthew!

We have been a customer of Glasswells over many years and have always been very satisfied with the service, advice and quality of goods.
Our latest visit was no exception to this. My wife and I visited on a number of occasions whilst trying to make up our minds on what to choose and found Adrian Clapper to have the patience of a saint and to be most helpful in making our final decision. A credit to the company.

Visited Ipswich store today and was greeted by Juliana a great Ambassador for Glasswells. We selected a Sofa, she measured against our requirements, married down choices, chose fabric, payment methods. She literally ticked all the boxes and was so pleasant with such excellent customer service skills. A true professional that your company should be proud off.

We just purchased a Tempur adjustable bed with the pro luxe smartcool mattress from Glasswells. We didn't originally go to Glasswells as we thought buying from them would be too expensive. How wrong we were. After researching all the sellers of Tempur beds in Bury St Edmunds we thought we would just get a quote to compare with the other quotes we had already received. From the moment we entered the bed department and spoke to their excellent salesman Peter, we were blown away by the professionalism he provided. He was informative but not pushy, we felt he really wanted us to make sure we purchased the correct product for our needs. To make the experience even better, Glasswells turned out to offer us the best price we could find in Bury St Edmunds and as it was their birthday celebration event, we were awarded some free accessories to go with our bed. Peter went above and beyond to make our purchase as easy as possible, advising us that we could make our significant purchase on interest free credit over 20 months if this was beneficial for us. We would definitely recommend the service and attention to detail given by the Glasswell's staff when making a significant furniture purchase.

Well we went to Ipswich store and found the most amazing sales man Adrian he has advised us with colours and a sofa we walked away happy and a new sofa and bed thanks again for all your help.

Why have I not been to this store before?? One of the best shopping experiences, so well laid out and assistant Adrian couldn’t have been more helpful. I will certainly be returning.

After being disappointed with furniture we bought from a different store, we went on line and ordered from Glasswells. We were then told the item we ordered was no longer available. Visited the store where Adrian Capper showed us similar chairs, he then left us to discuss our options. On returning to us he had samples of the fabric of furniture we had purchased from them previously and also the colour options for our new ones, extremely lucky that due to Adrian we are expecting furniture of similar colour to what we have at present. Excellent service from an excellent store.
