It’s great to be part of the GLEAC community! I was delighted to take part in a recent GLEAC Thought Leadership debate on Books vs Feed — and as a bestselling author, I naturally took the side of books! GLEAC is a great community of life-long learners. I am grateful to be a mentor and a learner in such a wonderful community. The daily updates and unstructured labs have been the best part of my experience so far. I recently took an hour long unstructured lab session where we learnt to build AI prototypes in one hour using the Lovable platform. It was quite a useful experience and assisted me in the vision for my current work in AI-driven climate resilience platforms. Sal and her team have curated a network which feels friendly and engaging without being overwhelming, while keep us well informed of current trends in the world and also promoting a sense of kindness and comradery. I look forward to continued support with the team, mentorship and learning opportunities ahead!

Getting to know some Trini lovely humans from the Gleac community was great. It was especially comforting to learn that a few are like me in not being very active mentors and not actively engaging with the Gleac app and micro practices.
Gleac is doing well connecting us in person.
The experience could have been better if the interviews had been conducted a little differently. Eg while on the walk we could have all been asked to respond to one question and all took turns to answer. I think that would have sparked some fun laughter and responses. Then walk a bit and then all take turns to respond to a next question listening to each other in the process. Etc. Instead of each person being interviewed with all questions at once. That system was a bit too formal. Maybe the editing will arrange it that way. We ll see.

If I could give this Wisdom Walk 10 stars🌟 🤩 ⭐️ 🌠 I would!! Such a lovely experience getting to meet these wonderful women in person. I learned so much about their work and gained connections I had no idea even existed before this walk. The energy was high and the day was perfect for a walk that invigorated my body and inspired my mind. The questions were a hoot and made me consider new angles for my own journey as well. My only question is...When is the next one??

As a GLEAC mentor, I’ve always appreciated the depth and quality of learning this platform offers—and attending two of the recent AI Labs only reinforced that appreciation. Super simple and easy-to-follow instructions. I have been using the personal bot I created during the session on a daily basis.

Following the GLEAC AI labs and the SIETAR 'Interculturality and AI' symposium had improved my AI knowledge immensely. Knowing what you can do is extremely useful, knowing it is all extremely clunky is useful. Knowing you can do all these things is useful, and confirms that I have no desire to do 99%of them even if they ever got to be easy is useful. I remain interested in 'where to drive to' rather than 'how to drive' and certainly not 'how the engine works'. All these learnings are useful for that. I think that a tool to turn Video in PDF is much more useful than turning a PDF into Video . Takes much less time to consume.- then I remain Old School with a new uniform

I attended some of AI Labs sessions with Gleac experts and it was impressive to see how AI is transforming not only businesses, but the world as we know it. I especially enjoy the interaction with the team members and immersion that the practice sessions allowed.
