Unprofessional and not trustworthy. Underfilled my oil tank and not even trying to help or sorting anything out.

I had a great customer experience with Christinia in this really challenging time for both the customer and suppliers. She really went the extra mile for me and was warm and friendly. A first class example of making somewhen feel heard and welcomed. F

Horrendous company to deal with for domestic heating oil. Broken promises on when the delivery will arrive, habit of not answering emails and often get an attitude from them when you query as to where your delivery is. Told them we were almost out of oil since we had a new tank fitted recently, but it makes no difference,...attitude is still the same!!! never again!

I have been using Gleaner for heating oil and boiler maintenance for about eleven years and they have always been reliable. However the real test of business service is when you need urgent help! A fault in our heating meant every time we turned on heating, the water was being heated as well - to the extent that it was piping hot and uncontrolled. First day back after Christmas and I rang them at 09:30 to explain the issue. By noon, the Gleaner engineer had come out to the house, diagnosed the issue and replaced the faulty component in the hot water tank which was causing the issue. Relief!! Thanks Gleaner!

When I ordered the delivery of oil, I accidentally paid for it twice. I phoned the company last Thursday 7th November 2024 who informed me that my refund would reach my account no later than Tuesday 12th November. After checking my account the refund had not arrived. I phone again explaining this. The company responded by saying that it would be another week before I would receive my money. I was understandably not happy about this and I responded by email. Immediately after I had the managing director on the phone saying I would receive the funds today, Wednesday 13th. No such funds were received. I responded again and got an email back with the original story that it would be next Tuesday before I received my refund.

Ordered twice now from Aberdeen depot since recently buying a property with oil fired heating.

Both occasions they have been the most competitively priced.

Driver also very helpful, filling my tank incrementally as I was unsure of capacity.

Got oil from the Inverness branch of Gleaner a few months ago but will not be repeating the experiment. The driver made a complete hash of getting in to our admittedly awkward to access tank (hindered significantly by a rather substantial protuberance to his front!) and was thoroughly obnoxious throughout. Customer service non-existent. There are plenty of other suppliers in the area with a much more professional approach.
