Unfair inefficient and avoid next time
Car arrived late, so we missed our Christmas Day service at 11am , Euch had been ordered.
On our need for return the booking system wS ridiculously complicated (took over one hour!!) and then they increased the charges by 25% over what they had quoted - because it was by then after 4pm. Unfair, inefficient and never again!

Very unprofessional service from their management. I was disgusted from the second I went to their office and how they spoke to me as a professional driver that works with high class companies. This company was terrible and especially I did not like one of their people that started to lie about the whole interview.

Thangathurai Pulenthiran collected me and my daughter on a sweltering day. Also, whilst we were boarded on the van I attempted to turn on the air conditioning for around 10 minutes and he decided to ignore us. I had alluded to the fact that my daughter felt suffocated as there were no windows. Furthermore, he had approached the next patient and decided to shut the doors. There was no air circulating and he had left us to suffocate.
I anticipate that this particular person will not be near any sick patients in future.

Very good value for money. Easy to communicate with. Very quick check in and check out, thanks to the key box system. Cars are in good shape.

At GLH I found the best rates in the Faroe Islands. The car’s condition was perfect. Communication was quick and straightforward. A very positive and convenient experience. I would definitely recommend, I would definitely go back!

I want to let here my work experience like a courier about GLH , in 1st time I not recomand this comapany to get a job for , I work for GLH for only 3 months and 3 weeks that been enough , wages it’s very small it’s not enough even for survive or if you can work for free money GLH will be happy about , like a worker which you do they delivery service show you from start to look like a latest people from this world no respect you can see when starting with admin charge , I start on new van which been changed over sometimes with faulty van which gear box , clutch pedal , break down in about 3 weeks between 1500-2000 miles driven , that looks to funny when they try to looks clever someone else repair they faulty vans for which you pay rent because it’s hire , but otherways I come back to my experience in this 18 weeks work for they , 1st month after diesel been deducted from wages i can’t cover my rent of £850 , 2nd months I can cover my rent and 2 weeks food ( not mind at good food , everything I found cheap on Lidl , Aldi ) , 3rd month same things like second month , that mean in 3 months I been paid with under £3000 the best money earn , last 3 weeks cover just some food because on last week even wages I not get they try to put me on overdown with £1499 for clutch burn repair looks like been my own car and I do own jobs where I choice to be inside traffic to jump all day from w1 to w1 or nearly , on 1st van which I recieve from they to work I do a little scratch about 2-3 cm which they charge me with £350 , I get quotations from 7 body work shop where the cost been between £80-£120 for that scratch ( yes there it’s true been my fault for scratch I not complain ) , in about 8 years it’s 1st delivery company which I meet for charge you with admin fee 10% when you get penalty ticket only because office open your letter , I want to find the job like this to open all long day letters for be paid for that , I can’t say nothing good about GLH because that mean to lie and isn’t healthy , I see some happy customers in review , of course not all review of 5 star it’s real , but they didn’t know couriers isn’t happy when run for small money and sometimes wait a lot and get paid few pence for waiting time or nothing because if you put waiting time docket will be change there in the office . I meet some drivers in central London which work before for this company but no one told me a good words about this comapany . I can say more things but for now it’s enough. I will wait for replay of my review from expert on do that , someone which know better to get all mess and hide under mat for show clear face of Greater London Hire . If you have free time and you want to kill that , or have extra money and you don’t know what to do with they enjoy a job for GLH .

I have used GLH for nearly 10 years now for both courier and passenger service. From start to finish, the customer service recieved was to a very high standard. From speaking to an agent for booking to being greeted by the driver and invoiced and charged. Drivers knew where they were going and I was confident in getting to my destination in time.
Overall fantastic experience. Very hard to get nowadays with all the app only no personal touch services.
GLH are well organised and advised me of my journey time and when I would need to be picked up to get to my destination for a prefixed time. As I am not a driver, it was very reassuring that the telephonists, controllers and drivers knew what they were talking about and advised me accordingly.
Ride with confidence. Highly recommended!
