I subscribed to Gliglish expecting a useful language learning tool, but my experience with their customer support has been extremely disappointing.

I decided to cancel my subscription, however there is no clear or functional way to do so. I contacted their support multiple times and received no response. This leaves customers in a very frustrating position, especially when billing may continue without consent.

The platform itself may be useful, but the lack of customer support and the inability to resolve basic account and billing issues is unacceptable.

I hope Gliglish improves their support and provides a clear and reliable way for users to manage and cancel subscriptions. Until then, I cannot recommend this service.

The Best Language Practice App Available!

Gliglish has improved since I first tried it. It's now a terrific app for practicing conversation in the many languages they offer. One thing I love is the choices available even with the same language. For example, learners of German can choose between German from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Spanish learners, between Latin and Peninsular Spanish. Other reasons for giving this app five stars is that it has been consistently working well to correct mistakes and provide explanations for the corrections. That is invaluable. The app offers suggestions for answers to help you out if you're at a loss for what to respond. It provides very good translations, and is very simple and straightforward. I hate the complexity of many other apps. Best of all, no registration is required to simply start chatting. I love that! No username or password to remember. And you can chat for 10 minutes per day for free. Right now, that is all I need, because I have a human tutor and language partner with whom I meet once a week. But, to master a language, daily exposure--even just 10 minutes a day--really boosts fluency. If ever I need or want more time, I will definitely subscribe. The subscription is pricey in my opinion, but worth it, if you need more than the 10 minutes per day. But I see the higher price as a way to help cover the costs of the free users who honestly cannot afford to pay. What I don't really like is that you MUST speak. There's no option to type. I wish they would offer that option. But I understand that the whole idea is to SPEAK. So, I still give it a well-deserved five stars. Highly recommended.
