Got an appt and had my interview within 72 hrs
After trying for six weeks to get a Global Entry Interview at Charlotte Douglas International and never seeing a single appointment available, I signed up for Global Entry Spotter. Within 48 hours I had an appointment for a few weeks out. I kept my alerts on and when I got an alert for an appointment that was even sooner, I was able to reschedule and snag that. Less than 72 hours after signing up I had an appointment and was approved.

Got answer, but not cheap
I used this service because I had a hard time contacting the Global Entry interview service at Mobile Airport by phone. I even went to the airport in person to get an appointment. No one answers the 2 phone numbers when I call their office. When I apply online it asks if I want the next available interview but provides FL and LA. I want to inquire by location, not by date. Going through Global Spotter website gave me the answer, although I think $25 is costly.
