I would like to highlight a few points…
I would like to highlight a few points that did not seem very professional to me from your team of movers who delivered my boxes last Tuesday September 28 in Saint Saturnin les Apt, France, from Sonona California, via the Netherlands.
First of all as you had asked me, Marieke, I had the street in front of my house blocked so that your team could park their truck in front of the house for easy access. For that I had to contact the services of the Town hall of my village so that they establish a municipal decree for this purpose. YOU gave me as a delivery date Wednesday, September 29 between 8am and 1pm. So I did the necessary for that.
Because if the access to the place of delivery is not easy for your team you announce that there will be additional costs …
It turns out that the day before the scheduled delivery day on Tuesday, September 28, a member of your team contacted the person who was in charge to receive your team to tell him that they would deliver the same day, September 28, at 5pm and not the next day, September 29, as planned.
This last minute change caused the fact that it was necessary in the last minute to ask the town hall to change its municipal by-law in order to be able to block the street at that time. This was done but in disaster for everyone.
Then your team arrived at 7.30pm ... two and a half hours late. So, the person in charge of receiving your team has been patient all this time.
Your team had said on the phone that they would contact this person 30 minutes before arriving in my village, which was not done …
When your team arrived, they unloaded the boxes quickly, (there were only boxes to unload) but they refused to go up to the bedrooms 4 boxes of clothes (9 stairs) and refused to go down to the cellar which has a wide easy access of (5 stairs) 5 boxes.
It is therefore the person on the spot who took care of it, whereas it is not up to him to do it.
Your team denied this saying they were late and had to leave right away.
I find that all of this is not very professional and not really respectful towards a client.
