Bought my coupon for a test via Groupon…

Bought my coupon for a test via Groupon nearly a year ago.
Sent my hair samples, in a new money bag. Got a confirmation of receipt email and my results 5 days later.
Absolutely no issues except I’m told I’m intolerant to chicken 😩 I rarely eat anything else 🙄
Going to cut it out and see

Scam

Scam. I have my serious doubts about whether any tests were done on the hair sample I sent through - I imagine they were thrown in the bin and a test result form was just filled in ticking random items. If the samples were really tested, then you need to know that the test doesn't work. I did an identical test with another company, Intolerance Lab and the results were completely different. I believe they are one and the same company as each other though, as the wording of the email and information sent to me from both companies was identical! Neither test results showed me the foods that I am actually very intolerant to - and both test results showed me foods that I am definitely not intolerant to! Complete waste of money.

Neither scientific nor accurate

Did some research AFTER I had paid for this test and found this : "In addition, some home allergy tests may have you send in a hair sample instead of a blood sample. “Because there is no IgE in hair, results are not going to reflect a true food intolerance.” Dr Lily Pien, MD, MHPE. Oops.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service.

Their website offers to provide your results within 48 hours of receiving the samples for an extra fee of $15. After 48 hours of them receiving my samples I had not got my results and requested a refund of the $15 out of principal. They have refused the refund and said it’s 48 business hours (this is not stipulated anywhere on their website - false advertising) which is 6 business days.
It has now been 4 business days since they received my samples and I am yet to receive responses to my last 3 emails over these days requesting clarification.

Pretty useless..

I had to chase the results as it was well passed the advised days. When the results were sent if was only a few things blended in all together so you can’t tell which one is which. I did Vit& Min deficiencies and food intolerances test. I contacted customer care twice as well as sent a couple of emails. Unfortunately, never got any answers. It was a waist of time and money and pretty useless.

I got my results back and some of the intolerances were just ridiculous, things I eat regularly that make me poorly were not on the list, things on the list I have zero reaction to. I spoke to a friend who did some research and apparently you can't test properly for intolerances from a strand of hair 😬 I feel stupid now...

Bought the 300 intolerance hair sample…

Bought the 300 intolerance hair sample test for my son.
He has been ill for nearly two years, is on b12 injections every 3 months, and diagnosed with M E October 2018.
His results showed about 10, items sage?, Rats?. Etc....
This can't be right with a compromised immune system, that out of 300 seemingly tested items, that he is intolerant to sage and Rats to name but a few.
Waste of money..

Very Good medical service !

Very good medical service. My only issue is I wish I'd gotten it sooner. Unsure why there are so many bad reviews, unless it's competitor companies? They took my hair sample and it showed what items I need to stop eating which was very helpful. The only additional cost was the stamp to get the test back, but everything else including the hair bag can be found in a normal house, I just used a sandwich bag, lol.

Easy to understand

Purchased a test for 725 items as I saw it was the most amount offered by any company. It included all of the food items that I thought I had issues with and I spoke to the team on their 24 hours chat service and they talked me through it. I got the results back within 2 weeks and it was really comprehensive, plus it told me where I could find the items that I need to avoid. Easy to understand.

Great customer service !

Would definitely recommend this test, as it's really comprehensive. I thought I had a dairy intolerance however the test showed I was wrong. I followed the free guide they sent me to take it out of my diet and my sinuses feel better. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews, they helped me quickly and are easily contactable on the phone.

Dreadful

Dreadful. Lost my first samples. Sent a second set. Got two sets of results that were completely different. Their response was 'We found some other things that you are allergic to. Have sent the case through to Watchdog. Dreadful.

Is this real???

Gosh wish I’d read these reviews before ordering intolerance test. Think I’ve wasted my money! Never received confirmation email of order contacted via chat online he said he’d resend email, never received that either. Haven’t received email saying they’ve received sample even though I sent special delivery a week ago. Gutted as my daughter has a rare allergy condition and was hoping this would at least provide a starting point.

Interesting results, one excellent Manager, but some problems in delivery sometimes

I had a bad experience with one of my tests, ie, it got lost, due to one person not paying attention. When I did bring it up to the parent company, I found one manager, Shelley Wilkinson, so helpful. Her love of the company and what it does, was evident. She was courteous over and over, as we sorted out the problems that had occurred due to another's human errors. I finally got both my husband and. my results. It was quite interesting. There were some things that I know I have an allergy to, that were not on there, but then I do my best to avoid those things. It did have other things, which we both were not aware of, but it helped us both understand the root, possibly, of the aversions we had for those things. Over all, everyone has to make up their own minds, but I wanted to give 5 Stars to Shelley Wilkinson from the parent company for her amazing care, in a testing situation....The company should applaud her and have. her train the others, who seemed to have ZERO customer service care. I reminded them. this was a DNA test, and DNA is very personal. They need to take good care with our personal DNA, and not lose it.

I did this test about a year ago and it came back with 22 things I’m intolerant to. I just decided to take the test again. Now I’m only allergic to 5 things and none of them are on the previous test I did. How does that happen? Scam?

Now telling me I need to redeem my Groupon order and my order is on hold despite the fact iv already done this which is how I was able to print the form!! Now won't let me redeem again as code has been used. Another purchase that has just turned into a load of stress and hassle. Havnt got the mental energy to resolve this. No company cares about customer service anymore. Waste of £25 !!!!!
