Can I make international calls?
Yes. YO Calls lets you make outbound international calls from a temporary Global YO calling number — $6 in credit for $2.99. Useful for hotels, restaurants, embassies, anyone not on WhatsApp. The number isn't permanent and isn't tied to your account between trips.

What are YOYO$?
YOYO$ are Global YO's in-app token. 100 YOYO$ = $1 USD. Earn on every plan and referral, spend on future plans (up to 100% off). No expiry as long as you earn at least once per calendar year.

What devices work with Global YO?

Dont get a package

I want to give more stars, as I have used Global Yo’s services in the past for specific countries without any major issues (minor connectivity problems were handled correctly before).

However, during my most recent trip to Asia, I bought an eSIM package (Asia Explorer XL) that turned out to be faulty. It worked for one day at my layover destination and then stopped functioning altogether. I could not use it at my final holiday destination, nor on the way back home during other layovers.

I reached out to the support team, but response times were very slow. I tried everything from the basic troubleshooting page in the app and followed the suggestions I received from the support team to change specific settings etc, but none of it worked.

I wasted a lot of time (and money) trying to fix the issue. I ended up using my own data and eventually had to buy an eSIM from another provider just to stay connected in a foreign country.

I also created a ticket via email to request reimbursement, but it has still not been answered by the Global Yo team. I am very disappointed by this experience, and I have to say I will not use their services again.

The unlimited plans are basically…

The unlimited plans are basically unusable. They give you 1GB of data per day with usable speed, and after that they claim it goes to 512kb/s but in my tests I can barely use 150kb/s which is completely unusable. Even WhatsApp is super slow, let alone any website or instagram or god forbid, work!

The support just give you the same copy-pasted messaged about the speed limit (which, by the way, is in fine print when buying the plan, you need to click on the little “i” circle to see it in tiny font).

I bought a 50GB data package to get the fast speed but I can’t even use it because it is waiting for the unlimited package to finish… support is not responding to my request for a refund on the unlimited plan which I cannot even use and I am left without internet when I have work to do.

I've been using GlobalYO for three…

I've been using GlobalYO for three months, and it's been an absolute game-changer for me. They offer excellent weekend sales that I've taken full advantage of. I can roam like I'm at home, and my bills have dropped by 70% or more.

Recently, I had a network issue and contacted customer support. They went above and beyond to help, and in the end, they replaced my eSIM. Many thanks to Ninja Anna—she was incredibly helpful and provided all the support I needed.

Before writing I have tried Global YO…

Before writing I have tried Global YO several times. Well, first time it was not easy enough because you need to know your settings, you need stable wifi, etc. Then I used GYO many time and I am happy to use, will keep doing and recommend to other users.
My last experience is in Kazakhstan. By this time I had already up to 10 old esims. GYO offered the best offer and pilot Marya san drive me with optimization of my settings and advised the best way how to use GYO. Origato 🙏, ninja Marya san. Great thanks for help!

Had some issue with e-sim

Had some issue with e-sim, after contacting with the support they fixed it but in the mean-time i had to use roaming service which was no cheap for me, anyway shout out to the support team.

The esim was faulty

The esim was faulty. It worked for 1 day and then stopped. I attempted to reach out to help support however the response time on reply back was from 20minutes to 90minutes. Had to use my own data and they refused to credit or refund the esim back cause it was activated. Performed all the troubleshooting, changed apns, ISMI, etc. still didn't work.

I was unable to activate the eSIM

I was unable to activate the eSIM. I requested a refund and they opened a case but then ask a question and would close the case in less than 24 hours before I could even respond. They finally offered a replacement eSIM for my future travels but I've still not received it.

Works well, a good buy

Very easy to set up, works fine with little or no problems.
Especially useful when travelling abroad and using Google maps.
Latches onto 5G, when available.
Good price plans as well.

I took a 3 day plan for georgia

I took a 3 day plan for georgia. On the 2nd day the network went and dint come back even though the plan was active. In fact the helpdesk advised that i manually select a certain network but that network stopped showing up . The global yo team helped me alot to resolve the issue.
