INCOMPETENCE OR FRAUD
Requested an engineer to come fix and refrigerator / fridge door which was falling off the hinge. The engineer came and said we needed to buy a new refrigerator door which would be £388.49 + VAT and a fixing kit for £62.99 + VAT. I asked for the engineers report and he said "The bottom of the door is broken so it drops too low on the lower hinge therefore the upper hinge doesn't hold the door anymore."
It made NO SENSE. I called Bosche directly, they sent out an engineer and for the call-out charge they were able to fix the door due to the hinges being broken.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS, THEY WILL MAKE UP AN ISSUE AND TRY TO OVER CHARGE YOU.
I HAVE ASKED FOR A REFUND OF THE SERVICE SO LETS SEE IF THEY GIVE IT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THEY WERE COMPLETELY WRONG.

Dishwasher repair and quick response
The booking and subsequent communication were excellent. We live in Virginia water and got a same day response. The engineer William was friendly, competent and didn't mind me asking questions and gave me useful information. He was thorough and fully tested the dishwasher before he left. Would definitely use again.

William was lovely, he came to see me in Blackwater for a broken down washing machine. Unfortunately he couldn't fix it as it needed a new motor, and wasn't worth the cost compared to getting a new machine. He was polite, helpful and honest and would recommend his services

So disappointed
So disappointed.
They recognised that heater in dishwasher is broken after third visit.
Before that they charged us 120 then 75£ for a replacing some switch wchich was useless.
Finally rejected 75£ refund request.
Better to go for new appliance than calling them.

We’re sorry to hear how disappointed you were with the outcome of your repair. We understand how frustrating it can be when a repair turns out to be more complicated and costly than initially anticipated, particularly when further faults are identified during the process.
Regarding the part fitted during the repair, this was not considered a refundable item as it did repair the component it was intended to address. Unfortunately, once this was replaced, it revealed a further integral fault with the appliance, meaning additional work would have been required to complete the repair. We appreciate this was not the outcome you were hoping for, but the part itself remains non-returnable and therefore non-refundable.
We can also see that our office team offered to look into a generous discount towards a new appliance as an alternative, although you decided not to proceed with this. We’re sorry we weren’t able to provide the outcome you were looking for on this occasion.
