Expanding Duracell Battery Storage
In May, we decided to expand our battery storage after having our solar panels and battery system installed last year. We originally had two Dura-i 5 batteries, providing 10.24 kWh of storage.
We have been so pleased with the performance of the solar panels, batteries, and inverter that adding more storage was an easy decision. The additional battery was installed in May by Glow Green.
A special mention goes to the electrician Conor Kind, who was brilliant. He was highly professional, completed the installation to a high standard, and took the time afterwards to explain the increased storage capacity and answer all of our questions.
I would highly recommend Glow Green to anyone considering a solar or battery installation.

System up and working perfectly, lots of lovely electricity being produced in this heatwave! Very efficient and professional process…
Very efficient and professional process from initial request for a quote through to installation. Clear advice given during quotation. Updates were provided once the panels were ordered so we always knew when delivery would be, along with scaffolding and final installation.
The day of installation was very smooth, the electrician and roofer both working non-stop and made a perfect team. Installation of panels along with inverter, battery, wiring, meter was completed incredibly quickly. Whole installation was professional with everything left tidy and clean. We thoroughly recommend everyone involved with Glow Green!

Excellent installation and results
Iwan and his colleague arrived on time, carried out a very neat and complete installation of my Tesla battery and Gateway.
Iwan talked me through and set me up so I can monitor peformance on the app on my mobile phone. Very pleased with performance over the last five days. Weather predominately sunny so my solar panels have kept the battery fully charged in the day and the battery is running the house overnight. I'm taking very little from the grid, around 0.3 - 0.5 kwh per 24 hours.

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience. I was promised multiple installation dates (25 June, 26 June and finally 30 June, confirmed by email for 8:00–10:00 am). Every single appointment was postponed. On 30 June I waited at home as instructed, only to be told after 11:00 am that no engineer was coming. Poor communication, broken promises and complete disregard for the customer's time. I have now submitted a formal complaint and requested compensation. I cannot recommend Glow Green based on my experience.

Loads of issues that are not being…
Loads of issues that are not being resolved. Slow (If any) response. Support is terrible once you have paid. Salesman stopped replying once they have your deposit. Scaffolder damaged patio. Roofer damaged rafter. Electrician wired battery so EV Battery drains solar battery. Welcome pack took 3 weeks to arrive and is incomplete. Still waiting on DNO that was submitted in March.
