Everything about GMC is amazing except one thing... there workshop downloader is awful and its also simple to use but every time i use it, it breaks and says this addon is an error... i looked at the UGS folder for workshop crashing into errors and its giving me an error of a screenshot... like bro what... and its a bioshock screenshot... I have talked to the owner of GMC and he just keeps telling me that our workshop addons are corrupted... So im thinking to myself, So Advanced dupe is bad? Or Darkrp is bad? or The advert system is bad or everything that a common darkrp server uses is bad somehow and corrupted???? and he refuses to actually fix the problem and say its the workshop collection having corrupted addons, i feel like they should add 2 workshop downloaders 1 that is normal and every host that uses it or there "custom good" downloader that breaks every second it is used, please fix your downloader, even if they respond and say again its our fault then im amazed on how such an amazing service this good went this bad so quickly, even my friends are having these issues and they use this host and its just not working out for them... They come to me about the issue but i tell them that GMC refuses to actually fix the problem and keep giving me and my friends bogus lies we all use different stuff and yet everything is somehow corruppted legit fix your downloader thats all i have to say. Other then that everything else is amazing except support about workshop issues :/

Have used these guys for over a year, they're definitely decent but my only gripes are that they overcharge for anycast and have a crazy backorder for a dedicated machine. Recently switched to another host for a similar single server price that included free anycast without having to buy a dedicated machine, player count has nearly tripled.

We came from bare metal and had to rely on GMCHosting as our last resort as we were getting hit back to back with DDoS attacks and one switch and GMC solved all of our problems.

I am so satisfied that I chose GMC hosting for hosting my website. I haven’t found anything to complain about them yet. I really considered them for future along with some other best hosting provider I know are Big rock, Domain racer, hostinger. Keep going..

Very Nice Host And amazing ddos protection!

GMCHosting has so far been amazing to me and many server creators. They are reliable and for the most part have 24/7 up time, except for when things go a bit weird. Ertug is also an amazing dude (This is starting to sound fake). Also another amazing thing, their servers are RGB. So if you want a good web / game / dedicated server host, with amazing prices. I recommend GMCHosting.

Basically we had a GMOD server of 60 people running, first day after a month long update and it just YEETED and crashed, a lot of progress, addons just got removed, building, jobs, ULX

Hands down best support you can get. You're not left with simple messages on how to fix/do something but you're told how to EXACTLY fix something down to the smallest degree. The support helps you from another human being's perspective. Not from their job perspective if that makes any sense at all.

When Star Front first started at 2nd Jan'17, after 2 months of preparations, we had 40-60 online at primetime on start, that was great. Almost instantly after that we had started to recieve terrific DDOS attacks by our competitors, it was a common practice in russian gmod community back then. Many servers got pushed out of market by such policies and our server was going to die too. However when all the hopes were lost I found GMChosting, it was a risk since ping to European hosting for russian players isn't very good, but we had no choice. I had several options of european hostings, and some had better web sites, but only Ertug showed significant level of knowledge of how gmod really works, he offered us some options how to move quickly to the new server, in three days we saved our community by GMC's premium from certain death. The high ping isn't really a problem and miraclously the server shows up pretty quick in gmod server list for russian users. Nowadays the russian market has improved and there are a few options which could better suite our needs, however I'm not planning to move out since more than for a half a year GMC provides flawless support and worktime, never was it on maintance, never gone offline. 24/7, really. I run 100/100 pvp sometimes and I can tell the hardware is really good.
There are few cons, like - no database included. The webhosting GMC provides located in Monreal, on the other continent than premium's core, so I had yet to test it. FastDL never worked for me no matter how many times I tried to setup it. It probably works only for the maps. "Perks" like autoaddon installer - some addons are outdated.
Overall, if you know how to install your server (worked with dedicated servers before), you'll like it. I wouldn't say it's perfect for the russian server, stuff like ping & database, however if I'd start international community - like european or in the US, I think it would be the best choice. And for russian communities it works too.

By far the best host ive ever used for Garry's Mod and i would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to start a Garry's Mod server

GMCHosting's European Teamspeak servers are atrocious. Paying for over 30 slots and it would crash a few times a day with 1 Person Online!!
Not only the issues with the server, GMC would not allow me to put the Teamspeak on a game server list and they advertised their hosting company on my teamspeak without allowing me to change it.

I contacted them on support and all they told me was their EU server hosts are bad and they could switch me to NA and I needed to be in EU. I asked for possibly receiving a discount for my trouble and to match Multiplay's Teamspeak server hosting prices. They said they wouldn't discount it.

I then asked if I could get the snapshot files for the Teamspeak to make it easier for me to transfer over because it wasn't my fault why this happened and they denied again.

I am not happy with the service provided and they didn't help me in anyway. Do not bother with GMCHosting, their teamspeak hosting is terrible, go with Multiplay instead.

Being honest, this service was the best I've used. The support could be a tad faster, but it got done. The CEO/Founder ertug2 get's everything done on his own and very professional. Only suggestion I've have is get a support team.

Seriously, I just can't find a negative thing about GMC -- Anyway, I came to GMCHosting from NFOServers, which was the worst host I ever used. GMCHosting provides extremely fast hardware that can handle basically anything you throw at it (within reason). Next, to get to the ping and DDoS protection, the DDoS protection is top of the line, literally, say goodbye to the days of people taking off your nfoservers server with 10 Mbps. The pings are amazing compared to other hosts I have used in the past. I strongly suggest you invest in GMC's VSE guard, which lowers the ping and makes the ping a lot more stable, for only 7.50 per month, which in turn attracts more players, so it essentially pays for itself with the increased donations more players bring. Then to get to the support, it is top of the line, and it's more personal then any other server host, because you can message ertug on steam if you need to (not sure how he feels about me doing that, nor is it a offical support method). But support tickets are also answered fast. So the base line is, that if you're serious about hosting, just go with GMC, there is nothing better.

Hosting with this company has been a pretty great experience. I was a die-hard NFOServers fan until I was recommended here by a friend. Currently, I use their highest dedicated hosting plan, and I have been completely satisfied with my experience. The level of service that I have received is extremely competitive. Also, the DDoS protection has shown itself to be as effective as advertised. We moved here after suffering multiple VSE attacks on our last host. Since moving, we have had zero downtime due to any sort of network attack. You will not regret hosting here.

I have been running servers for quite a long time, since the good old minecraft days of 2012. I have hosted with multiple companies and this would have to be the best company I have gone with in my opinion. My community has been using GMC to host our servers for a month now and we have noticed an incredible increase in performance compared to our NFO box we used to rent. It's ddos protection has stopped our servers from going down where with our last host, we were getting ddosed for a week straight. I full on recommend using GMC as a host.

Pros:
Real time steam support.
Prices are better than the companies I have been with.
A smooth and easy to use control panel.
Server overall runs smoother.

Cons:
Doesn't offer non-Garry's Mod game hosting
Doesn't offer many locations throughout the world. (Doesn't really effect us since we are an American based community.)

I'd been with GMC Hosting now for around a month, great service but the donation panel is sometimes hard to get working, sadly no web editing like TCAdmin has but they have a custom panel with time saving tools! I've used their workshop downloader alot and it really helps. I don't need to setup the workshop.lua anymore since they automatcly do it for us/me! I'd recommend this hosting company for every gmod servers out there. Haven't tried their webhosting, custom ddos service & csgo servers. But for now excellent! :)
