So Felix Prehn turned to running his own business, but even still he was a glorified employee who had to show up in order to get paid. He turned to trading when he was hospitalised because of a back injury that came from chronic stress and overwork, but the worst part was that it would’ve cost $50,000 to operate on… Money he didn’t have at the time. At that point, his income was completely cut off because he couldn’t punch in the hours to get paid, yet his bills continued to climb.
Having no choice, Felix used his network and experience as an investment banker to learn how to trade from his hospital bed so he could at least make a side income to pay his bills. Before he knew it, within 10 months he had completely replaced his business income (and his previous corporate salary) with the income that came from his trades. So instead of having to wake up early, clock in, and get paid based on the amount of hours he worked… Felix was finally able to wake up feeling like every day was a weekend, have full control of his schedule, and make a comfortable income working a fraction of the hours he did as a lawyer and banker.
In 2020, Felix and his adopted Golden Retriever, Winston, started a YouTube channel called Felix and Friends to educate people struggling because of job loss, hour cuts, and income losses because of the pandemic to create an extra stream of income through trading for a few hours a week
Since then, he’s grown the channel to over 100,000 subscribers and has taught over 9000 students inside of GOAT Academy with his team of ex investment bankers how they can create more freedom, provide better for their families, and live life on their terms by replacing their 40-60 hour work weeks as corporate employees for becoming their own boss and “working” part time hours.
Today, Felix aims to provide real financial education that schools and universities have never provided to over 1 million people so they can stop getting taken advantage of by the corporate and banking systems, and instead, take back control of their time and finances to become better sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, friends, and community leaders.

GOAT Academy by Felix Prehn — My Course Review
I am currently completing the GOAT Academy program and the experience has genuinely changed the way I approach the markets. What I value most about the format is the one-on-one sessions with the mentors — rather than following a fixed curriculum, I was able to focus on the specific topics that matter most to my trading. Here is what I have covered so far:
1. Risk Management
Before this program I was trading without a real system. Through my sessions I built a clear, rules-based framework: fixed position sizing, defined stop-losses before every entry, and a minimum 1:2 risk-reward ratio on every trade. The concept that stuck most is that risk management is not about avoiding losses — it is about keeping them small enough that your edge has time to play out over many trades.
2. Trade Execution on IBKR
The mentors went deep into Interactive Brokers as a professional platform. I learned how to use order types correctly — limit orders, stop-limits, trailing stops, bracket orders — and how to set up a proper account structure with risk controls at the broker level. Execution quality matters, and IBKR gives you the tools to do it right when you know how to use them.
3. Options Trading
One of the most valuable topics I explored in my sessions. I went from barely understanding calls and puts to running income strategies like credit spreads and the wheel system. The key discipline I took away: open positions at 45 DTE, target 30-Delta strikes, and close at 21 DTE to avoid gamma risk near expiry. Selling premium with defined risk is a completely different game from buying options speculatively.
4. Market Maker Mechanics
Understanding how market makers operate was a revelation. Through my sessions I learned how they delta-hedge their options inventory, what gamma exposure means for intraday price behavior, and why the Gamma Flip level is such a critical threshold — once price crosses it, MM hedging flows amplify moves rather than dampen them. This explains a lot of price action that used to look random to me, especially around monthly and quarterly options expiry dates.
5. Algorithmic Trading
The most advanced topic I have tackled, and one I am still actively developing with my mentors. I am learning how to take a manual, rules-based strategy and translate it into code — defining entry and exit conditions explicitly, backtesting against historical data, and connecting to IBKR's API for automated execution. The core lesson: automate only what you have already proven works manually.
Overall, GOAT Academy is not a get-rich-quick program. What sets it apart is the one-on-one mentoring format — you work on what is actually relevant to your trading, at your own pace, with practitioners who have real market experience. I would recommend it to anyone serious about developing trading as a professional skill.

I joined the Goat Academy's trading program after two years of 'paying my tuition to the market'. Before coming here, I think I made every mistake in the book. I knew something needed to change and found Felix's videos. I watched them for a few months, then attended his free seminar, and decided there was something really of substance to learn here: how to invest skillfully and advance my financial goals using a clear guidelines and one-on-one support.
What I have found at the Goat Academy has been an amazingly comprehensive program truly designed and run by experts.
Here, you learn how to identify market trends and sector money flows, how to pick the best trades within any sector, and most importantly, when to get in, what position size to take, and when to take profit and exit. Risk management and clear-headed analysis are key, and that's what they teach here.
For me as a woman, financial freedom is everything. It guarantees having options.
So I am taking this course as part of my commitment to myself to make skilled, intelligent choices to grow my money and not hand that responsibility - and power - over to others. And the Goat Academy is a professional-level place with tons of support to learn skills that increase financial freedom.

I had a very positive experience with Levi, and I’m grateful he convinced me to take the leap and sign up. I’ve been in sales a long time, and I can usually see through tactics or spot if someone is shady. It takes a lot to impress me, but Levi was a cut above the rest: honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to speak with.
I’m about 3 weeks into the program and have already learned a lot. The coaches are friendly and knowledgeable. For the price point, I think it could be a bit more organized and structured, but that’s largely due to the sheer volume of information and topics available. Overall, I’m pleased so far.

Coach Brett Medina and all the other coaches have been fantastic. I have received excellent mentorship and teachings from experienced staff. Brett has coached me one on one and provided valuable feedback to elevate my experience with the Goat Academy. Thanks to all the coaches that have made themselves available and spent their valuable time helping. Thank you.

After searching for a structured way to navigate the markets, joining GOAT Trading Academy has been a total game-changer. What sets this program apart isn’t just the education—it’s the comprehensive, rules-based strategy that removes the guesswork and emotional stress from trading.
The curriculum is built on a standardized system that is incredibly effective at identifying exactly where institutional money is flowing. Being able to spot those footprints as a primary indicator for potential stock breakouts has completely changed how I screen for opportunities.
Beyond the strategy, the human element here is top-tier:
• Knowledgeable Coaches: The instructors are clearly experts who don't just teach theory; they provide practical, actionable insights.
• Caring Support Staff: The administrative and support teams are genuinely invested in student success, always available to help with a high level of care.
• Emphasis on Risk Management: Perhaps most importantly, the academy prioritizes capital preservation. The risk management protocols are baked into every trade, ensuring that you’re trading with a plan rather than gambling.
If you are looking for a disciplined roadmap to reach your financial goals—especially if you have a busy professional schedule—this is the gold standard.

Hopped on an advisory meeting with Sam, amazing individual and really pointed out the skills I lacked with my investments. Been almost just gambling throughout my 10 years of trading which I can humbly admit, however ever since getting the right coaching and even 1-1s with Troy ( Who's a coach in the program ) I've never seen this fast of a shift in my perspective in the markets. Still going through the learning materials so far, and super keen to see what awaits for me in the future

I'm about 4 months into a 12 month program. I came in with little previous trading experience. In summary, I am happy.
First the positives:
- I'm getting genuine value and financial education out of the program. I have learnt a lot so far.
- the coaches, the staff and the community atmosphere are great. The coaches are genuine in their desire to help you and improve your success and give good feedback.
- there are plenty of live coaching sessions covering a wide variety of topics. And previous sessions are recorded if you can't make the live session. This is especially useful because coaches are spread across different parts of the world in different time zones.
- The onboarding process was quite smooth and I was assigned a dedicated CSM (customer success manager) who has been great at helping me get the most out of the program and resolving day to issues, and tracking my progress.
I did have some concerns when signing up to the program. There wasn't a detailed structure published and the cost of the program is not trivial. If it wasn't for the very positive trustpilot ratings I may have otherwise avoided the program. I honestly had a few major doubts about it and it felt like a bit of a gamble at the time. I don't feel that way any more. The course, at least for me, is legit and I am getting what I was hoping for out of it - financial education and gaining the knowledge to make my own stock picks. If you're simply looking for spoon fed stock picks you might be disappointed.
The team at goatacademy have made many recent improvements to the course structure and learning roadmap within the community, but I am not sure if they publish such info externally.
In summary, I think it's been very good overall and no regrets for signing up. It wasn't cheap but for me it has been unquestionably good value.

Before joining, I read a lot of reviews because, as we all know, you can find anything on the internet. Many programs promise a lot, but you never really know if they deliver. Goat Academy sounded a bit too good to be true at first, and it’s not cheap. However, I can now understand the pricing. If it were not expensive, a lot more people would join, and there probably wouldn’t be enough coaches to properly support everyone. With this price level, it feels like only people who are truly serious about learning, actually enroll.
I joined about a month ago, completely new to this world, but very curious. The first week was quite overwhelming, and I quickly realized that this is a common experience for new members. There is a LOT of information to absorb, but there’s a roadmap, a Launchpad, help chats, live group Q&A calls, you get a Client Succes Manager assigned, who you can ask for help… but still at the beginning, everything feels like too much. I remember wanting to do everything at once and sometimes feeling close to panic because I can’t succeed it. But after about a week, I slowly but surely started to find my way. The group calls for new members helped a lot. Since then, I’ve noticed steady progress, I understand more each week and feel more confident navigating the material.
I’ve never regretted joining the Academy. My advice to anyone reading reviews after watching Felix’s videos is this: if you expect something quick and easy, this is not for you. If you’re looking to simply copy someone else’s trades, this is also not for you. This program is about much more than just learning options trading, by the way (if you watch Felix’s video’s you’d expect it), it teaches you how the market works, the psychology behind it, and first and foremost – the risk management. Be prepared to put in real effort. Your success is truly in your own hands: the more time and energy you invest, the better your results will be.
It doesn’t matter whether you have prior trading experience or not. A year ago, I didn’t understand anything, it all seemed too complicated. I watched many videos, but only Felix’s YT channel made it feel like something I could actually learn. And now I see that it’s true: I can learn it, and I am learning it, thanks to a very supportive and professional team.
If you’re serious about developing a valuable skill that you can use for life, I would definitely recommend joining.

I’ve had an incredibly positive experience learning with Goat Academy. The coaches have not only opened up new possibilities for me in analysing and trading markets, but they’ve also struck a great balance between validating what I already know and thoughtfully correcting me where needed. Their approach has really helped build my confidence while sharpening my skills.
What stands out most is how supportive and knowledgeable they are—every session feels constructive and motivating. I genuinely look forward to continuing my learning journey with this group and developing a higher level of expertise over time.

Love the GOAT Academy! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! I came into this project a little scared, this was all so new to me I thought I was out of my league but the program is paced and exciting, the community is there for you and all the coaches are very patient and knowledgeable, Felix’s humor makes it fun and down to earth, love it! I’m VERY excited to get good at this 😊
THANK YOU!

I spoke with Levi and he helped clear up all of my questions going into the program. He’s a great guy to talk to and his own journey in life and with the school are inspiring.
If you have questions or are not sure about if Goat Academy is for you I highly recommend talking to Levi.

I've been in the program for a month and a half. I have improved 10-fold my knowledge of markets, institutional money, worldly financial influences, and institutional trading. I would have to spend 10-15 years working in the financial sector to learn that kind of knowledge, as well as, build good connections with people that I could trust. The coaches here provide a calm voice amidst the noisy backdrop of the market. I am enjoying the program and I plan to stay all the way to the end.

It's only been 4 weeks since joining, and I would say my journey has been more or less flawless, so far. The initial great marketing exercise by Felix himself, via the free You Tube seminars, bythemselves, are already top class information. It surely led me to seriously consider joining the academy. Yes, entry is pricy, for us average Joes n Janes, but having jumped into the deep end now, I consider myself lucky to have come across such an opportunity to learn a new skill set. The whole academy set up, the methodical step by step approach, the underlying philosophy of the founders, access to (former) professionals in the field, it all makes for a solid, compelling package, and I'm certain that the skills I'm learning here will be a lasting foundation stone for my fututre trading endevours.

My experience with Goat Academy has been overwhelmingly positive, and what truly sets it apart is not just the methodology but the strength of the team behind it. The program continues to evolve in meaningful ways, reflecting a commitment to constant improvement and real-world relevance. While Felix’s Wall Street Protocell methodology provides a strong and structured foundation, it’s the broader coaching staff and support team that elevate the entire experience—offering diverse trading perspectives that complement the core system and help students find their own edge. Equally impressive is the student management team, which is highly responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in student success, making the learning process smooth and engaging. Overall, Goat Academy delivers not only high-quality trading education but also a professional, supportive environment that consistently exceeds expectations.

I looked over a number of reviews at different rating levels and was surprised how different some student’s impressions were compared to mine. Although I did notice a number of reviews were from people who never became a full Goat Academy student.
My experience at the GOAT Academy has been outstanding. I thought I had a good level of understanding of the stock market prior to joining. It didn’t take me long to realize I had only scratched the surface of understanding.
First, the live GOAT Academy lectures are just outstanding. There are many parts that I have found very useful, and here are a few that stand out to me:
1. Even though topics are repeated, the opportunity to ask questions live and look at the current stock charts of various stocks makes each lecture somewhat different.
2. The coaches give the lectures. I’m amazed how much work they put into the lectures and how well they condense the information and distribute it.
3. During the lectures, there is time for live questions and chances to review stock charts as a group.
4. Many of the coaches include giving us google sheets and docs with calculations, and ways to follow, track our results, evaluate stocks financially, calculate stop losses, screen for potential breakout stocks, etc.
5. The coaches put a lot of effort into their slides and make them available to us regularly. They make every effort to answer questions for us and even offer to make an appointment through the GOAT Academy website for further follow-up.
6. During the lectures, there is time for live questions and chances to review stock charts as a group.
Second, I think the coaching is absolutely critical.
1. The chance to review what I’m doing with an expert coach, and ask questions about specific scenarios in trading, screening, risk management, entrance and exit strategies is better than it was described to me before I joined.
2. Being able to review technical aspects of charts, learn to identify breakouts and optimal entry points, how to manage difficult situations one-on-one are just amazing.
3. It is true that each coach has a different way of looking at things, so the coaches although they teach the breakout method of stock entrance, also trade options in many cases and also use other methods as well. I think that diversity in styles of trading and teaching are actually a benefit and not a drawback.
4. I’ve worked with a number of coaches over the last few months and each one of them has provided great advice and feedback on any questions I have had. I haven’t been disappointed with a single coach (or lecturer for that matter) in any way.
One might think that choosing the right stock is the most important task to learn. But the real answer to success (at least in my opinion) is developing good risk management strategies on every trade. This means planning my entrances, my trade size, and my exits prior to the trade. From day 1 of the GOAT academy, risk management is emphasized again and again. One of the coaches reminds us to “feed your family first” and “live to fight another day” when a stock fizzles out. I had never placed a stop loss or planned exit order prior to entering the GOAT Academy. Now I NEVER purchase a stock without having both an entrance and an exit plan.
Re Felix’s Watchlist: Every weekend we get Felix’s watchlist. More important than getting his watchlist to find out which stocks to invest in, is to use Felix’s list to learn what characteristics of the stocks and the characteristics of the stock chart that caused him to put them on the list, and then spending the time to see which ones really broke-out. You also can use his list to see where he put his entry points and stops. Even when I don't invest in one of his recs, I check out the entries and stops.
Coaching and lectures on screening: During coaching and live sessions, I have found it invaluable to learn the process of screening, specifically looking at sectors and industries, and technical chart features involved in finding stocks that are close to breaking out or breaking out. The GOAT Academy Coaching and lectures reinforce the importance of learning how to screen for potential breakout stocks without having to depend on Felix’s list alone.
If these things weren’t enough, I have found the lectures from coaches who were market makers to be fascinating. The world of market makers hedging with options and dictating when buying and selling occur is a world that I had no understanding of until the GOAT Academy. Twice a week, we discuss this topic in live lectures.
The GOAT academy teaches its students to be successful not just during the academy, but prepares you for trading and investing after the academy. I'm grateful to the Goat Academy for the opportunities to learn under great teaching so that I can provide for my family's future.

I scheduled my 1 on 1 several weeks in advance. The investment mentor then missed the appointment. He notified me he would be 1/2 hour late, then did not show up. I replied that I hoped he could reschedule me for sometime soon. I have not heard back from him.
I came across Felix's youtube content and followed it for about a year before overcoming my skepticism and giving the academy a try.
I'm sorry I did not sign up sooner. The academy staff are always available and responsive, and genuinely want to see you succeed. The academy has changed my perspective on investing, and its making a real difference. Overall, signing up has been worth it, and I would stay on longer if I could.

I did not purchase any courses from GOAT Academy. I only used my virtual number once to register for their free weekend Zoom session out of curiosity.
Since then, my phone has been flooded with unknown calls forwarded from this virtual number at various times. I am not interested in booking any courses. Fortunately, I was able to change my virtual number to stop the calls.
This experience makes me highly concerned that they may be collecting personal information and potentially misusing it—possibly even selling data if you do not enroll in their programs. It is clear they are targeting easy victims. I am not buying into their sales pitches. After researching, I found that many others have requested refunds and reported similar issues.
Advice for anyone seeking valuable trading courses or mentorship:
They are not registered financial planners or lawyers; legitimate programs do not need your personal or financial information.
Be cautious when personal information is requested—it may be used to assess your financial situation to upsell or charge additional fees, which is why their “tiered” programs do not list prices publicly.
Prefer registered programs locally, which lowers your risk of being scammed.
Do not rely solely on self-claimed resumes or credentials; always verify independently.
Look for instructors with real, verifiable trading records, live accounts, real-time trading sessions, and official trader licenses.
Cross-check instructors’ credentials through official regulatory databases.
Lastly: You do not need to book calls with them. Based on my experience, once you attend for their free webinar, they will aggressively contact you through the number you provide. This is why it’s always safer to use a virtual number and virtual email address for these types of events.
Happy trading !
My experience with the Goat Academy has been extremely positive. The coaches are highly knowledgeable, all coming from strong trading and investment backgrounds. They are supportive and bring a calm, practical approach to navigating the markets, often complemented by a refreshing touch of light humour.
One of the biggest benefits for me has been learning to think like a trader rather than simply an investor, particularly when it comes to risk management. This shift in mindset has significantly reduced the “gambling” element of trading.
I joined the academy already in profit after nearly two years of trading, but I quickly realised that a large part of those gains was down to luck. Since then, I’ve developed a more disciplined approach: reducing position sizes, diversifying across sectors, and gaining a clearer understanding of when to buy and, just as importantly, when to sell.
The coaching and training are well structured, with clear, real-world examples that make it easy to apply what you learn in practice.
Overall, it has been a great experience and a worthwhile investment in both my trading skills and financial mindset.

Unlike the many recycled strategies and courses found across various social media and YouTube channels, the GOAT academy leverages the Wall Street Protocol (WSP) to decrypt institutional money flow and market liquidity.
Engaging the 1-1 coaching allowed me to dig deep into my specific psychological barriers while refining my technical edge. Alongside these private sessions, there are regular group calls covering a wide range of ideas, strategies, and analysis, as well as general Q&A. The coaches cover different time zones, and all the sessions are recorded, so if you can't make it when it was live, you can watch the recordings at your own time and pace; ideal if you want to stop/start and take notes! There is a newly revised Options trading course available as well as the WSP.
If you are seeking to move beyond the noise of retail speculation and adopt a professional framework, this program provides the necessary technical information, teaching and community support. You have to invest in yourself to give yourself the best possible chance of growing your wealth and improving your future prospects. Money doesn't grow on trees, but you can learn how to grow it yourself - start your journey with the GOAT academy and its members.
