We had a very bad experience

We had a very bad experience. We left on time, we arrived 1h later than the expected time for no reasons. The bus driver made 2 stops of 30 minutes each and only 45 min among the 2 stops. He stopped for so long, then we saw it taking money from the shop called Coffee shop rest shop, between Qena and hurghada. He made so long stops so tourists are forced to buy something and he can earn more money. Moreover, he was using the mobile phone all the time, and he even stopped to buy vegetables on the street. I paid for a 4 hour ride not for a 5h ride, and again, the delay is not justified, is just the misbehavior of the driver.

My experience on the bus with driver…

My experience on the bus with driver 21031492 restored my faith in humans. I was having a hard day, and didn't know where my bee card was. This lovely bus driver, when I offered him cash, explaining I list my card, let me on for free. His warmth and sincerity was palpable, his kindness evident. I hoped more people would be like that because it makes the world more of a special place to be. I'm lucky to live somewhere strangers take care of one another.

Excellent experiences

One of the best services Ireland has to offer based on my direct experience so far.
I have used GoBus between Cork and Dublin 3 times so far and each time I have not found a single fault to complain about. So the positive things I have been able to observe:
- punctuality;
- nice buses, clean and no bad smells;
- excellent service quality/price ratio: in addition, tickets cost much less than train tickets (I don't understand what advantage trains have over buses).
- you can do Cork-Dublin in about 3 hours (basically the same as trains...)
- so far no problems with the drivers, two of whom in particular have been relaxed and helpful.

Absolutely appalling driver..the most…

Absolutely appalling driver..the most ignorant human I've come across in a long time. Severe road rage, flashing and gesturing at other drivers aggressively..he just shouted at me to turn off my phone and told me I was "really checking his patience" I literally turned my phone almost on silent, held it to my ear and listened to a good night message from my kids. Such an unnecessary aggression on his part. Very upsetting..will never use this service again.

terrible and embarassing

used to be a regular and consistent customer for years until recently when a drive forced me stand on the side of the road during a the worst weather weve had all year. snow and rain earlier this year. she refused to allow me to carry a small bag onto the bus and made me stand on the road rooting through my bag for the things i need unpacking and re packing my bag while my stuff rolled down the street in the cold and rain and snow after standing in said weather for 30 mins already waiting for the buses arrival while i was doing this she came out and said "ah come on now are you not ready yet" as if she hadnt been the one who put me there and made me do that thus delaying myself herself and the entire bus. this was extremely embarassing, unnecessary and rude and when i complained to go bus they did nothing other than send me a generic format email saying they hope i remain a customer etc after i had requested to know what would be done with the driver and requested a simple apology from the driver.

Customer service dropped

Customer service dropped - go back to aircoach

Today I returned to Dublin after a trip to Asia and realized I had accidentally booked my return for the 14th instead of the 15th of June - I had confused my travel dates by one day because of time differences. I explained to the driver and instead of honouring my ticket or acting on a gesture of good will for a returning customer, they insisted I must buy another ticket. A quick check I'm sure they would have been able to see that my ticket hadn't been used. Not only this but they were quite rude and unhelpful/ not at all apologetic and Shivaalis colleague actually sniggered to him about it and then just turned his back to me and started ushering on other customers (also with little to no manners).

I paid for a return and a single ticket of €22 euro on top of the €32 I paid for my original ticket in May.

I appreciate policies however as a business you should allow for some human error and respect when people have paid for your service and not availed of it. I left Asia on the 14th and made a mistake in my booking the bus for that same date as I over looked the +1 day. It's unlikely I'm the first or will be the last to make this mistake which should be accounted for by an airport bus service.

Flights are delayed/changed etc all of the time so being slightly lienient in these instances would strengthen and improve the businesses reputation and demonstrate they care for customer opposed to this experience of mine which made it clear their priority is making the most possible profit from people.

I also highly recommend GoBus employ secret shoppers to highlight the inconsistency in the customer service across your driver's. Some of your staff are lovely but the two I came across today were not and should not be working in customer facing service roles.

I will be using aircoach moving forwards and will be encouraging others to do the same.

Paul, probably the best bus driver here.

I rode the 21 northern connector today -- 6:50. A rude guy held up the bus and cursed out the bus driver. It felt incredibly uncomfortable, but Paul, the bus driver did an awesome job at not being provoked by the guy. This guy (Paul) deserves some appreciation, so 5 stars for him and his patience and professionalism. Tumeke. 👍🏽

Best driver in Ireland.

The best Driver ever I see in Ireland.
If I have my company, I have to hire this guy.
Valdis did great job welcoming customers in best way.
Feel like it was friend.
By the way the upsell he did it was Amazing.
Me and another few people buy return ticket even this wasn't my plan from beginning:)))
Definitely recommend this company if there work people like Valdis.

Unfortunately I can't make my return…

Unfortunately I can't make my return ride because I got stuck at the hospital. I contacted Gobus customer service but it was impossible to rebook anyone. They usually precooked/reboked without any problems. No anymore. Sorry but I can't recommend this Galway company

no remedy

My plane was late and didn't make it to the bus I have pre-paid for. The customer service team refuses to deal with me and to amend the situation, even though the ticket was not used and the situation was out of my control.

All great except seating space too small

Bus quite new and clean, driver very friendly and we departed & arrived ontime.

However, the seats on the bus are very small both in width and especially the seat distance to the back of seat in front which made the journey quite uncomfortable.
Gobus should really offer a bit more space for passangers -- I won't be travelling with them again because of this

I wish I started using GoBus sooner

I wish I started using GoBus sooner. The service is much better and the bus is more comfortable, the WiFi actually works and so does the power outlets - compared to Aircoach where it never works.
Will definitely keep using GoBus in the future!
