Hey husband was checking his CCstatement when he noticed a payment for £40.56. He knows nothing about gocarehelp and hasn't signed up to anything. He did make a payment to Zedge recently so we're not... See more

SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS. They created a pop-up on a bike rental app in Valencia. I only entered my email account and NO PAYMENT details but they retrieved this from the app download (double click on iPhone). Then a message to say I was charged £29.99 for GoCareHelp. I can't even work out who they are but they are NOT related to a cycle hire company. I am in dispute with my bank but this payment should NOT have been authorised.
scam
taken payment unauthorised for 29.99, no idea how got the details even received an email confirming this but the visa card number wasn't mine so unsure how they go the details. rung the bank and even they are saying the payment take from our phone!! apple pay
No idea how they got my bank details
No idea how they got my bank details. Didn’t sign up or give any details but was charged £29.99 for ‘membership’. On phone to Lloyds bank for about an hour on two occasions to try to get money back. Still in dispute. Scam company. Lloyds say the IP address matches and am liable. Not sure how if i didn’t enter any bank details.
Scam …
Scam scam scam you think you are linked to something credible ie to competition but it’s a scam they keep your bank details I contacted them and they said it would be cancelled but it isn’t and is now pending on my bank account
Absolute scam
Absolute scam, was doing a genuine transaction for something completely different when this pop up ad appeared which I thought was part of the genuine transaction. I immediately called the bank to report the scam and blocked it, and sent an email to the website to cancel within minutes of being scammed. Be warned!

Was forced to create an account that was said it was free. Then got an email saying demo was only for 3 days and the I would get charged. The company then made it impossible to cancel my subscription until the demo period had elapsed and I was charged the first fee.
If not an outright scam...dead dodgy
If not an outright scam, dead dodgy. Accidentally came up as a Pop-up Ad while I was making a genuine payment to another organisation, was distracted and unintentionally gave card details to Single Click Max for an initial one-month trial. I went onto the website immediately, cancelled and have got confirmatory emails from them. I then called Barclaycard who could see the £0.00 holding transaction to Gocarehelp.com. They advised that if anything is taken from the account in a month's time, I contact Barclaycard Dispute Team who will sort this, refund any monies and if necessary block payment. I've worked in online marketing for 25 years and I'm normally very hot on picking things up but I was distracted...Be careful!
Unwanted and not asked for
Don't know how I was signed up to this but the bank sorted and I now have my money back

Charged my mum £29.99 and she doesnt even know what it is or when she has given her details for them to do this. The website doesnt even alow you to attempt to Log in, and you cant cancel any subscriptions as it says you dont have any, yet the “bot” tells you when you signed up to the 3 day trial and when your subscription started. When trying to cancel the “bot” sends you an email with a pin code and you cant progress without it, however they dont email you anything.

This is a scam site that stole £29.99 from a website I did not agree to. I had been conned to paying a £1 which then added me to a monthly subscription at £29.99. I did not agree to this.
