Slow, overpriced, and then deleted my entire server that I had for over a year for seemingly no reason, thanks godlike for destroying something important to someone that sent you hundreds of dollars a year!

it keeps begging me to upgrade to a paid plan + I can't find any information on how much CPU % before purchasing and there is a limit on player slots, EVEN ON PAID PLANS, it also doesn't allow you to install forge/fabric servers on free plan during the server creation it only let me choose between "paper" "spigot" and "bedrock" (didn't check for paid)
Even the plugin/mod(pack) installers are behind a paywal (together with litterally all other features except the console and the files) so you can't even add plugins easily but it does allow you to upload them (which is a weird order) so it's not even to save resources and prevent abuse or something.

You can also not choose your subdomain? I just get a generic "srvXX.goldlike.club:port".

Also, free servers get deleted after only 2 DAYS without being refreshed

I canceled my subscription 2 months ago witch was like 50 steps of clicking on the small button next to the big "continue subscription" button. Saw now that they have continued to bill me...

I requested they cancel my account. So many problems, I just couldn't deal with it anymore. They were very pushy and demanded I give them a reason. I had to come out and say that I did give them a reason, they just didn't want to accept it. They said they were escalating this but the ticket is closed and the account is not deleted. I cannot even delete my billing card to keep them from charging me! I told them that this is very predatory.

Edit: they did eventually handle this but only after i was feeling quite powerless. i ended up spamming every single ticket, re-opening them with the same message copied and pasted about taking care of my account.

i will say there was this one woman who helped me at one point and gave me a bunch of useful info and i hope she got my kudos through her supervisor.

Would have been a 5 star up until I decided to cancel my plan for a little bit. I was at the end of my current Minecraft phase and would have come back later but I won’t be coming back to use godlike. They intentionally make the cancellation difficult, asking multiple times and switching the order of the buttons to cancel or stay. If you have to trick me to stay then you aren’t worth staying with.

When I had some trouble with my server, they were very quick to respond and to help me solve it :)

I started out from a free FiveM server. When setting it up I noticed the server's panel is EXTREMELY clunky. The new one is really bad, the old one is at least working but it's nowhere near a good panel - stuff is very buggy and finding stuff takes a lot of time.

But it's not only their front end that sucks. Actually, their front end is the least of my issues. Their back end is TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IS IT THIS BAD.

First of all, FiveM servers have a config file. A lot of stuff is constantly being replaced (without you knowing) because it's said so in a random tab in the panel. I, knowing how FiveM works, tried setting it up in the config file, but they constantly were changing my settings and I had a lot of issues to get the server working.

Now here's how I lost a good few hours of my life.

For some reason their free server worked fine, but their paid server didn't. There were issues with port forwarding. A thing IT students learn on their first year. Many kids know how to set it up because Minecraft forced them to. SURELY they could easily fix this on their end? Right?

Nope. Instead they treated it like user error and wanted me to follow a really weird set of steps to build a server. I wanted a simple server with vMenu and stuff to play with my friends, but they required me to use overcomplicated frameworks that were totally not needed for my use case. When I told them that I don't want to use that framework and I just want a normal server that I can setup by myself, they told me I need to follow their steps or my server just won't ever work.

You see where's the issue. They're telling me I'm gonna have full control over the server, I encounter an issue that should easily be fixable on their end in about 3 minutes, instead they tell me to configure my server in a strictly limiting way that I don't want it to be.

They also put a random button on the site that made me sign up for some weird premium plan that was supposed to be "free", and if I didn't intervene, I'd pay for it monthly. That's because it only showed up after I set up my payment method. That's kinda scummy.

Now here's how the support works. There were 2 people I talked to. (Sorry if the names are incorrect)

One's name was Karina. She is a bot. I talked to her when she gave me those strict rules on how to make my server. She is literally a bot, doesn't read anything I tell her. I write a message about one issue, she gives me an answer about another. Or just repeats the same thing again and again until I understand (which I will not, her messages are sometimes really difficult to understand)

The other one is Rostislav. He helped me with cancellation and refunds. I mentioned the premium, did I mention it literally gives you 0 perks? Which is why that premium subscription stinks even more. When I asked him to cancel my premium subscripton, he said he won't, because I didn't even test it properly yet. Here's a translation of this corporate bs: I hope you forget about the subscription and we get our money for our shitty service.

They also have a support bot that's redirects you to useless pages that are annoying. Obviously you gotta just fight with him a little to get to a real human. The only good thing about their support is how quick they answer, usually about 15s.

Please, for the love of god, host your own stuff. I didn't want to set stuff up by myself and wanted to pay a few bucks to have it hosted somewhere, and it again showed to me that it's a bad idea. Always host your own stuff. Or just use better sites, but not this one.

As a side note, their Minecraft and Terraria servers may be better. After all, Minecraft and Terraria are simpler games with a bigger multiplayer audience, their servers are built in etc. They are just generally easier to setup. But this doesn't explain why the simplest possible config on FiveM was a huge pain to setup.

The adverts are dodgy as all heck but the service was at least good...until it crashed and it turned out they deleted/damaged all the backups so months of gameplay has been lost. So the service AND ads are dodgy. Don't waste your money on this.

Company has an incentive on their webpage to leave Trustpilot reviews, something Trustpilot says they're not allowed to do.

More importantly, they couldn't host a small bedrock server - they then destroyed the "off site backups" and couldn't restore it - 2 weeks of progress for our group of friends wasted.

Useless.
Could not even support a tiny vanilla bedrock server.
They have deleted all my backups too so months of work all lost.
Support team don't know what they're doing, take forever to reply and cannot explain how they have failed so poorly.
Not worth the hassle.

Absolutely incredible experience, offers very well priced servers for hosting. This is the only hosting site I have ever and will ever use because of how good the experience is, god bless this website. The console is extremely easy to manage and add mods too, and everything else needs at most 1-2 clicks of a button rather than the painstaking process of setting up a server manually.

This company is a complete scam. They offer incentives ( a free server ) for writing a good review. This goes against Trustpilot's TOS.

In all honesty a great service, had some issues on first use but managed to fix them all in less than an hours time. Great for if you just need a free server with friends, better than most other free services too.

Is a good host for a server, stable, custom config, and user friendly. But is something anoying renew the server... If You are a "free user". But the plans have a good price.
