Go Fly Your Kite was an idea from Director, Glenn Heasley's four year old son, who when he was bought his own kite in a shop said to his Dad, "wouldn't it be great if I could draw on this kite?" Go Fly Your Kite was born. Now in our sixth year of business Go Fly Your Kite deliver workshops to children, young people and adults to over 25,000 participants a year due to our unique Art and Science (STEM) workshops all over the UK and Ireland. Working with primary schools, youth organisations, science festivals, birthday parties, corporate workshops, Alzheimers and dementia groups. Partnering with organisations such as Science Foundation Ireland (SFI), RDS, Dublin, Stena LIne, Historical Palaces, RTE Science, Space & Maths Week events and ESB Science Blast to name a few! Our workshops are based on fun through learning with a "can do" approach for age groups 3 to 93 years old! The concept is trace, colour, construct and fly an ageless activity that still receives gasps of WOW in our workshops when their bespoke kite takes off.

This was a really good lesson about Space Week
This was a really good lesson about Space Week and the moon. The children loved it and gained a real level of interest in all things lunar related and they loved how the kite art meant they take something away with them.

MIC Space Week Workshops with Go Fly Your Kite
We held two virtual workshops with Go Fly Your Kite for Space Week 2020 on the 7th of October. In this new online world I was a little apprehensive as to how virtual workshops would go but I needed have worried. Glenn and George are true professionals and the workshops were really great! If anything the children seem more intrigued and engaged and gave the presentations their full attention! They had plenty of questions for George and as always he went over and above to answer them all. All in all the workshops were a great success and I would like to commend Go Fly Your Kite on having developed a really good online model for their workshops. They were a big hit for us at MIC for Space Week!

Just bought my second kit for a gift
Just bought my second kit for a gift. Absolutely delighted both with the service and the product. Great fun for all ages and gives kids a sense of satisfaction designing then flying their own kites and gets them out enjoying the great outdoors! Definitely recommend Go Fly Your Kite!

We loved Go Fly Your Kite!
What a wonderful activity for all ages! We all loved designing and colouring our kites but the most fun by far was flying them. Glenn and George are so good at what they do and had great time for the children throughout the decorating process and showing the children how to fly their kites. A thoroughly enjoyable morning and no doubt Go Fly Your Kite will be returning to Tobin Centre in the not too distant future.

WOW what a day we had at our workshops today. George you were amazing, kind and very patient with all our kids of the community. I would have absolutely no problem in recommending the workshop with kids. The lively atmosphere and smiles on their faces showed how happy they were. great activity for all ages
My children really enjoyed designing and flying their kites. A super activity to have on hand for a rainy day! Normally I find it hard to get one activity to keep both my children (aged 6 and 12) happy. This one bridges the age gap and we’ll have lots more fun when we get out to fly out kites

My children absolutely love these...
My children absolutely love these kites. They are so durable and easy to fly. The range of coloured markers that come along with the kites for decorating is fantastic. Great product and excellent value for money.
