GO FOR IT Programme - AVOID!!!
My business advisor (Louise Parkes) gave all of my unique ideas to a well established competitor which she had been working with in the expansion of her business; I was completely oblivious to this and thought MY vision and thoughts were confidential in those meetings.
I highly recommend avoiding this programme for that reason; I confided in my business advisor thinking she had my best interest and I shared explicit details of my vision with her, for her to then relay that back to the competitor, who is now taking full credit for my creativity!!!
There were multiple ideas of mine this woman had stolen and an online article proved that they were working together.
Beyond disgusted that someone could do that to another. Do not trust this programme.

Without the help and expertise of the mentors and consultants at Goforit NI, I would never have gotten my business off of the ground. While fairly articulate and certainly knowledgable in my field, writing a business plan was a huge stumbling block for me. The business consultant that I was paired with, Meike White, took the basic outline and information I provided her, flushed it out, and wrote a business plan that was good enough to get me the start up loan that I needed to get going. These people were a large part of my success! If you are thinking of starting a business, talk to these people!
