I’ve moved at least 13 times in my life from coast to coast. Working with Golden Gate relocation was by far the best moving experience! Both Jesse and Marco were ultimate professionals, kind and efficient! I felt all my paintings, artwork and household items were very safe in their hands! Golden Gate Relocation has made my multi-state move from San Diego to Austin already a wonderful start! From Gabby being my first contact and guiding me through the booking and packing process. Then Jessie and his crew, Marcos and Bassim putting care, thought and precaution while packing, wrapping and moving everything into the truck put me at great ease. They were gentle with sentimental pieces, explained every step of the moving and traveling phase. I felt like my neighbors or family friends were helping me. You don’t find this friendliness so easily now a days!!! I know I’m in good hands!
I was able to stay in communication through a quick text and it honestly made any concern I had addressed and taken care of quickly. I will personally recommend Golden Gate Relocation to every single person I know that is making a move in or out of state.

Golden Gate was great! They got everything packed from the room where I was living with my daughter to a new apartment. In only a few hours. The team was helpful and asked questions about everything to make sure they put it where I wanted it.

I can't say enough good things about Jesse and his crew, they were so hard working and the move didn't cost as much as I have had to pay in the past.

Marcos and Jesse were both very professional, friendly and quick. They made sure my boxes and furniture were well wrapped and protected before transfer to the truck. They handled all pieces with care and precision. I highly recommend this team. I hope the persons unloading my belongings are as competent.

We used golden gate to pack and move our household belongings from California to North Carolina. My husband and I are up in age, packing and moving cross country alone wasn’t an option for us. The team at golden gate was wonderful to us and explained how everything was going to work. My daughter supervised the packing of our things and everything went smooth. When it was time for delivery the guys were so nice and put everything where I wanted it.I highly recommend them to anyone moving.

The movers saved my time and work by loading and unloading my items quickly, which really amazed me. They took excellent care as they removed my goods and furnishing.

I moved my mom from California to Texas and golden gate was a god send ! They handled all the packing unloading and delivery . Thank you so much !

This was our first experience using a mover and we are very happy we went with golden gate . I had to move our date a few times and they were very accommodating . We went with their packing service since I have a lot of family heirlooms I wanted to make sure were packed securely and they made sure everything was exactly like I wanted. Very happy and highly recommend them .

Just wanting to respond to Customer Care statements. If you don’t read your contract word for word you will definitely find yourself to be silenced over any issues with the company. If you have issues you must file a claim and give them atleast 4 months to resolve and find all your missing belonging or make good on everything damaged at 60 cents a pound before you can talk to anyone to help you. This review is not over the contract signed to be clear. That will be a later one. This companies movers were unprepared when they arrived with enough tools to do unassembled furniture. They asked my son if they could use his tools and he said yes but they were not part of the moving. They were his work tools we were bringing with us when we left. He continued to remind them to put them in the truck when done. It was very late by the time they finally left but they took his tools without permission. I contacted Golden Gate Customer Care and the movers to let them know the tools were taken and needed to be returned. The cost of the tools was over $1,000 worth and in a red tool bag. I was told after much texting and calling that they located the tools in the warehouse. No explanation why they were found in the warehouse. They were taken without consent as he needed them for his new job when we moved. Because I had written a review which was extensive and was not appreciated by the customer care manager she said I needed to remove the review, file a claim and they would work with me to resolve all the issues as per their contract. I was also told that when I removed the review they would Fedx or UPS my sons tools overnight. That was over a month ago and they still refuse to send him his stolen tools. It was made very clear to me how ruthless her replies would be if I did not remove my review and they would refuse my claim. These tools had nothing to do with the contract. Yet they refuse to send them and lied to me more than once about them being returned. Per the manger remove the review I’ll send the tools. I am still putting my claim together as it is long but holding on to his tools is unacceptable for anyone as it was not part of contract but as means to help the movers complete the job. I have found the manager to not be truthful or trustworthy. They do not have a right to keep his tools which do not belong to them or the movers. We are still waiting for them to do what they agreed to. If they can’t return the tools taken how can they be trusted to keep the contract agreement on the things I had in the contract. I have complied with them except for completing the claim to which I am still finding missing things. How can a company justify holding on to and refusing to return stolen tools by their movers from the property.? I’m sure the reply with be ruthless as I was pre warned.

I highly recommend Golden Gate Relocation, they did an amazing God, they came on time finsh quite!!

LIES LIES and even more LIES. This company (Golden Gate Relocation Movers) has done nothing but lie to justify their bad behavior. Read their replies to ever bad review and judge yourself. The unprofessionalism is astounding.
This will be cleared up in the court of law.
Please believe, this is not a good company. I can’t stress that enough. I did not have a hair appointment as they state. No where in the audio was this specified and I was never rude or used sexual, discriminatory or insulting remarks towards anyone. It’s very tasteless to lie about customers.
Please gather facts before posting lies that will later not hold in the court of law.
Both middle eastern foremen have lied. SHAMEFUL!
To all potential customers, believe the bad reviews on this company. They are no good. Clearly, read their response to everyone who has had issues with them. Read how demeaning and condescending they are. Know they are lying about everything noted in their reply.
The movers will need to attest to this in the court of law and they need to be aware that swearing a false oath or falsifying an affirmation holds punishment.
I stand by my review of this company. DO NOT HIRE THEM. If you or someone you know have gone through the same issue I’d like to hear from you.
Goldengate Relo Movers Businesses are misusing the review flagging tool and constantly flagging my reviews. The unprofessionalism doesn’t stop. Funny!!!

We were told we’d get a written agreement on the price once the foreman walked our home. All good until they ran out of truck space. Nothing added, but they say we need $2,000 more to take the rest of our stuff. Now our stuff is being held hostage because they are underhanded and dirty. Also, owner won’t contact me back. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
Opening boxes and we have multiple broken items. The ‘foreman’ shows up for 2 hours, then a bunch of random people pack up your stuff.
Delivery was 3-4 kids and 2 adults. This is what $18k gets us? DO NOT USE!!

I moved my son for college and golden gate was on time and the guys were great . All of his things were delivered and they put everything together . Thank you for a smooth move .

Worst move of my life. Lost 30 plus boxes, tv furniture and sports memorabilia I had collected over the years. The worst part my father in laws military stuff from the war he served. Try many times to see where my belongings are and get the same" we will call you, when we know". Then they gave me a number to file a claim and it's been 4 months with no reply. How are they able to operate. Wendy has try to help, everybody else is garbage.

Working with Scottie was a great experience. He was very detailed and well informed. We went room by room over the phone to obtain an accurate list of the items in my home. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.

They say moving is up there with one of the most stressful things any of us will ever endure. Isn’t that a fact? In my time of need Golden Gate Relocation was there every step of the way. Communication was top notch. I was a hot mess throughout the move, bad nerves. Thank you Golden Gate, I really do appreciate you. I do not plan on moving again, so I can’t say I will be calling. I have and will continue to recommend you to all Friends and Family. Cause you really care.
