We engaged Goldfinch for the design and installation of a media wall unit which was completed earlier this year. We found the whole process from initial meetings/designs to final installation extremely professional and collaborative. We had some initial ideas of what we wanted which the team listened to, and offered up some other fantastic design ideas to bring everything together. The communication from the team was also excellent all the way through the process. We are so pleased with our media unit and while we knew it would always look amazing - it has exceeded our expectations. The teams attention to detail and craftsmanship was excellent. Would certainly recommend Goldfinch for any bespoke furniture items you are looking at - we are already looking at booking another project with them.

Goldfinch made a beautiful kitchen prep table to our specifications and managed to deliver it after taking our door off (and putting it back on, expertly). We really enjoyed working with them and the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that communications were erratic (and there was an unnecessary scramble at a very inconvenient time over an ‘unpaid’ invoice that it turned out we had, as we thought, paid on receipt). We’re delighted with their work, otherwise.

Goldfinch is a truly professional company that really listens to its customers’ wishes. From the initial design process to the moment the furniture was placed in our living room, everything was arranged perfectly. The pieces turned out exactly as we had hoped, and the quality is absolutely outstanding. It’s not the cheapest option, but you get stunning, solid furniture that will last a lifetime.

We’re based in Amsterdam, so the shipping and customs process was a little more complicated than if the order had been shipped from within the EU. But it’s good to know that it can be done smoothly — you only pay the import taxes for your own country, not UK taxes as well. The furniture was exceptionally well packaged, leaving no chance for damage during transport.

We live on the top floor, and as agreed, the delivery team used a moving lift to bring everything up carefully and professionally. In other words: they do exactly what they promise.

We are thrilled with the co-design process and the final result. Goldfinch creates truly beautiful, timeless pieces. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for unique, high-quality furniture.

We had a walnut tree we had grown from a nut my wife and I pick in Zakinthos in Greece on the fist holiday we ever took together. 34 years later we had to have the tree cut down as we were having an extension built. Our 2 children had learnt to climb trees with the aid of this beautiful tree and we were devastated having to have it cut down. As this was a special memory for us we had the tree planked and after 4 years we took it to goldfinch who took the wood and their design team and their talented tradesmen made it into a fabulous dining table. This is a memory that will last generations.

We are really delighted with our new kitchen - beautifully curated and crafted. Goldfinch were great to work with during the design process and build process. Easy going but professional, with solid attention to detail.

Having seen Goldfinch at an exhibition we threw caution to wind, and ordered a set of dining chairs. Goldfinch were happy to let us visit their London work shop where we were shown examples of their products and also samples of various timbers that were about to be made into furniture. It was a fascinating experience.
The chairs, which arrived today are beautifully made, and are more like works of art than something to plonk one's self on to eat a meal. We were going to have seat pads made, but it would be criminal to cover up the exquisite patterns in the wood.

I live very close to the workshop and they were always happy for me to pop in to look at and discuss the timber that was selected for my piece. It really is a place to go to if you are after attention to detail. I had a second piece done after the first because I was so happy with their quality. Would highly recommend them.

On the recommendation of my client I worked with Goldfinch to make a bespoke piece of joinery, as my client had appreciated the attention to detail that Goldfinch shown when making items for him previously.
I was very pleased with the input from the team although sometimes hard to know who one was meant to deal with. Everyone was helpful but not always a continuity in contacts.
However they did what they said they would and produced a beautiful piece, installed it well and my client is delighted. A very positive experience

It was such a pleasure working with the whole team at Goldfinch Furniture & we couldn't be happier with the outcome. From first contact to final exquisite finished pieces Goldfinch were extremely helpful and responsive giving us great advice and expertise throughout. We now have two bespoke items that are so well designed and made and which suit the house perfectly. We're delighted with them and will enjoy them for years to come. The team are friendly and knowledgeable amd can realise your ideas even when you're having difficulty seeing it yourself. Even when things didn't go quite to plan they were super reactive in turning things around and you feel like they really just want to make the customer happy. I recommend them to do a great job of making beautiful furniture and being fun to hang out with whilst working on your project.

Wonderful - they made me a kitchen, bathroom cabinets, and a whole host of other sumptuous bits for the house. Can’t recommend highly enough. Love these guys.

I commission Charlie and his team to plank up a flamed Beech tree that we took down in Dulwich Village 4 years ago. They slowly dried the timber and then made me a bespoke butterfly table from it which is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this company, its ethics and their skill base. We met Goldfinch at the Grand Design Show in London. We instantly fell in love with one of their show Dining tables, it was a stunning piece of Copper Beech, the quality was outstanding and we ended up buying it. The team were friendly, knowledgable and super helpful both at the show and with their factory Guys. It's a great addition to our new house.

Goldfinch designed and made the most beautiful jigsaw table for me - we visited their workshop before we commissioned and were overjoyed at the atmosphere, work ethic and the principles of their business. The design process involved iteration and innovation built on a backbone of sustainability - communication was effective and cheery. Have a look at the photos - I reckon you'll want one of your own/for the grandparents!

We just received our custom benches from Goldfinch, they are fantastic and just what we wanted. The team listened attentively to our requests and were quick to make adaptations during the design process where this was needed. We got quick and helpful responses for the team. We were keen to support a local sustainable and ethical business that is thoughtful about its environmental impact, Goldfinch ticked that box for us!

We also LOVED that they want to invest in the next generation by passing on skills and knowledge. We learnt that as a charity they offer young people an opportunity to grow in confidence and find employment, it is such an attractive model!

Goldfinch did a fantastic job making me a custom made solid ash wood extendable table. I came across this London based company 4 years ago at a design fair. When I was finally ready to buy a table, I searched shops and internet for weeks. When I realised that what I want doesn’t exist, I miraculously remembered Goldfinch. I contacted them and we immediately started working on a design. Charlie, Fred and Mike did a great job from start to finish, accounting for every small detail and request from me. I got a beautiful the table of my dreams, exactly to the measurements I required. I even specified that I want to be able to cross my legs while sitting at the table, which is not possible to do with extendable tables because of the mechanism underneath. And other great things I love about this company is that they are local, enthusiastic and environmentally aware. I’m looking for for a few other pieces of furniture and I’m thinking to order them again at Goldfinch ;)

We had an absolutely brilliant experience with Goldfinch. Initially went in just wanting a dinner table top but ended up commissioning a coffee table too. The workmanship is stunning, the materials responsibly sourced and the entire team are really lovely to work with. We mostly dealt with Fred, Mike and Charlie and will definitely be contacting them again for other projects.

The team at Goldfinch were able to bring to life a vision I had for a bespoke coffee table, in fact they even elevated the finished product with their rich knowledge and expertise.

Their communication during design and production was amazing, they kept me informed and I felt comfortable the finished product was going to be exactly what I envisioned (and it was).
