I am sorry that you have not seen the results you were hoping for. When followed as directed our customers report that they start seeing weight loss somewhere between the 2nd and the 4th week with an average loss of 1-2 lbs. Keep in mind that there are many things that can influence the number on the scale, and some will lose inches before pounds.
GOLO is not a quick fix, fad diet; instead, it works to help get your metabolism back into balance so you can lose weight effectively. Depending on past dieting efforts, your age, medications or medical issues or hormones, it may take a bit of time to get everything back into balance. But that balance is the key to losing, getting healthy and maintaining your loss long term. Some ways to know that the plan is starting to work for you is if you have more energy and/or are sleeping better.

A very slow down

Golo won't divulge their sources.
I have emailed 4+ times for information about their vegetarian dinner (I prefer to buy my own meat ) and no one knows anything, nothing!!!. Instead of divulging what countries they source their vegetables from and what country their processing facility is located in, Diana Ortez-Miller says this: "Noting the specificity of your questions (such as what kind of grass is fed to the animals and exactly what farms they are grown on), I want to assure you that GOLO is focused on both being transparent about our products to the extent we are able. Here, I am concerned that GOLO may not be able to provide you with the exact details and information you are looking for. " It sounds like she could provide information but she won't because it doesn't measure up to the claims on the web site. She implied this company functions as Gleaners.... they are offered what is left on the vine after the harvest is done and/or what is culled from the canning or freezing process because it is poor quality. I think Golo is owned off shore so how much of it is imported. What are they hiding?

Works well at first
I lost 50 lbs over the course of 7 months, and then I stopped losing weight. I tried the Reset 7 for 3 weeks, but it didn't change anything. I am still stuck at the same weight and can't seem to start losing again. I am still following the Golo program, and taking the Release.

Allergic and couldn’t get a refund
I bought the GOLO plan and took one of the tablets. A few minutes later I had an asthma attack. I didn’t really connect the two. The next day I tried again and almost immediately I had another asthma attack. I looked at the ingredients and saw Eucalyptus which I am highly allergic to. I contacted the company and explained. They said I would be contacted for a reimbursement but I never heard back from them. I sent a text so I would have a record. Again, no response. Then an email and still no response. I gave up. Beware if you have allergies to ingredients or need a refund.

Total scam!
Total scam!! I was on the } program for 3 months, following all the meal, pills etc, weighed myself at the 3 month mark and gained 6 pounds, and the release pills are worthless, don't waste your money

Keep in mind that there are so many things that can influence the number on the scale, and some will lose inches before pounds on this plan.

In this study there were 2 groups of people-both of them followed the GOLO plan, but one group took Release and the other took a placebo. Golo is an unsafe
Golo is an unsafe, unsupervised weight loss program. I went to a Nutritionists, my spouse ordered Golo. In a nutshell, Golo is a 1 size fits all 1500 calorie diet. Take a pill and eat from our "card". The problem is I weigh 175lbs LESS than my spouse and we were eating the same amount of calories. Once you learn about calories and eating correctly you understand what a joke GOLO is. Do yourself a favor, see a Nutritionists.

Doesn’t work! …
I order 2 different times hoping maybe it would work this time! GOLO does not work! The only way Golo is going to work is if you go on a diet and stop eating anybody can do that without Golo you don’t need to spend $200 on if you’re gonna go on a date and not eat anyway it’s just a money maker for someone don’t be a fool like I was!

GOLO, Not Like The TV Ads
OK, GOLO "can" work but not to the degree that you see on the TV ads where people say: "The weight just fell off." "I took GOLO and lost 250 pounds." Not so, not so. GOLO is NOT magic. I can, it may help a little but cost quite a lot. However, I have been using it and I did not lose 20, 30, 50 or more pounds but more like 2 or 3 pounds in a month. HINT: I purchased GOLO on Ebay and got it at less than half of what the GOLO store charges. Same exact product. When I wrote to GOLO about this they did not disagree but said if you buy it from us (double the price) you will get free cooking ideas. Not a great deal. If it was not for EBAY I would NOT continue with GOLO, just too expensive for the slim (no pun intended) results.
Edited Review: The head of GOLO responded to my Review and said you could not purchase GOLO over Ebay. Sorry. I bought 270 capsules at less than half the price of the GOLO company. Any person can go to Ebay and see the truth. I'm confused as to how the head of GOLO would offer a statement saying you can't buy GOLO on Ebay, YOU CAN. I expect a correction and an apology from GOLO. As I said GOLO can work to a small degree if you also add a special diet, a lot of exercise and other things. I can lose 2 pounds without GOLO and save a lot of money, but their TV ads say: "I lost 240 pounds, 168 pounds, 69 pounds by taking GOLO." You can swallow a truck load of GOLO and not lose that amount of weight. End of Story.

GOLO does not allow resellers of our products and we don’t sell to wholesalers. There are no eBay sellers offering Release at a reduced price. This stuff is useless
This stuff is useless. These people are no better than snake oil salesmen. Basically they want you to cut your carbs and get on an exercise program. Which begs the question: what do you need Golo for? If you cut your caloric intake and exercise you’re going to lose weight anyway without taking a bunch of over the counter herbs that they charge you exorbitant amounts for. Save yourself a hundred bucks and just get a gym membership.

I am sorry that you did not see the results that you wanted. At GOLO we don’t require exercise or cutting carbs as a part of our plan. We do recommend that everyone be as active as they can be and that will look different for everyone. We also have a recommended meal plan, but our plan suggests a carb serving at each meal. Most people tell us that they can’t believe they are eating more food than they were before starting GOLO and losing weight.
Release helps to balance the hormones that affect your weight so you can lose weight faster. We know that Release works because we conducted a double blind placebo trial. In this study there were 2 groups of people - both of them followed the plan but one took Release and the other took a placebo.
