It really is useful to have lessons in quick bursts with the busy lifestyle we adults have. It's very convenient and the content is definitely worth it! I am now becoming a religious user and I am definitely fear the moment when I have completed all the courses and content and am hungry for more. All of it is totally awesome!

Edit: Here are my reasons why I did not give 5 stars. I couldn't figure out how to reply to your response.

1. I think there should be more variety of problems. I have hit a wall in difficulty which I aim to pass, but I end up passing the skill by means of remembering the exact problem instead of reading it out as I should be able to for my level. More variety in problems of a specific skill would allow me to actually think/read instead of remembering the move because I had just failed it 2 minutes ago.
2. Sometimes on the skill tree, my progress for a skill/quiz gets reset because of a temporary network interruption, this is frustrating when I am on a skill that is very challenging and i am on a good run.
3. Some of us have very large fingers and i have fat-fingered many answers on a skill which i otherwise would've gotten correct. Perhaps allowing there to be a setting to submit moves similar to correspondence games on OGS? This is mostly for full 19x19 problems.
4. Since it is a web-based app and not a full blown app, I wish I had notifications sent to my phone as reminders for continuing a course or skill (or streak!)

I am faculty at a college who is considering changing their LMS. As part of that decision we have a workgroup reading and discussing Flower Darby's book "Small Teaching Online" about best practices for asynchronous online learning.

One reason I purchased a Go Magic membership was to experience as a student what made a well-designed LMS work. I have been very pleased with the curriculum and its pedagogy, and have more words than fit here about *WHY* it works so well.

The courses are well-structured. It is evident that they are created by professionals. The accuracy of the graphic component makes learning enjoyable and intuitive. There is nothing as well-organized on the web.

Fair pricing, and worth it if you want to get better at go.

I love your platform. It's a very comprehensive, structured and graduated system. Bought a membership for my nephew as well.

My only complaint is that the lessons have started to lock at the end of the quiz. The only thing that seems to work is that I have have to clear my cache each time, which is a bit of a pain.

The interactive courses are great. The Skill tree is a fantastic tool.

after a while that I followed the free resources I decided to buy a Gold subscription, I am very satisfied with how the courses are made, pleasant to follow and divided by degrees they helped me to understand concepts that have always been a mystery to me, I think Go Magic is the most useful resource that I have found on the web. I still gave 4 stars mainly because 5 stars represent perfection and this is a rare thing, in my personal opinion I find the prices very high, the courses are very well done but it would be perfect if they were more accessible, and I hope that sooner or later this can happen, surely this would be compensated by a greater number of users.

There are a lot of puzzles even if you don't have a premium account.

I started using the site back in 2022, for a SILVER gift card that I won at an Go event. I think it was a Tournament or something.
It wasn’t the main prize but it seemed to me that it was. I used it to the end and wanted to renew Gold, using the points that I had accumulated at that time but the system of the Store, had a hatch (you had to keep it pressed... I did not realize) and I thought that did not work and could not apply the discount and I passed the offer. And it did not come ... to 100%.
In Argentina, dollars are not easily accessible for exchange value and taxes.
Well time passed ... And there was the anxiety to make me Premium.
I really like the skill tree, that I’ve even been using it quite a bit ... for free!

Vadim’s videos seem very clear to me, although I have difficulties with the language, since I’m not English. This is written with translator. And YouTube helps me with audio translation.
I love the quizzes of the lessons.
I wanted to watch Alexander’s videos for a while.
With the end of year offer and some points I had accumulated... And I already knew how to do with the little button of the store... I arrived! ... and now, I’m in a state of shock!
I want to see ALL the courses!!! ... And I’ve been hooked with other courses and at the end, I haven’t seen the ones from Dinerstein yet, but I’ll see them soon.
I also like the cat-catching game. And the articles.

Really well designed and nice teaching. I especially like the skill tree and problems, which are also free.

good quality videos. understandable and well defined lessons. i am beginner, helps ne a lot and opened me after some days many doors to the game. can really recommand it.

For me, the best part is the podcast arranged with follow-on quizzes as well as the skill exercises. The quizzes and skill exercises really pointed out what I needed to improve to advance.

Professional courses, easy to learn, many examples, it's a pleasure listen to the lessons!

Very good learning platform

Excellent tools to learn, practice, and gain experience. The site is well organized and connected to Discord and online games to give 360 degree support for my development. Love that I can progress at my own pace and review lessons to further my skills.
