This is my first experience buying up cycled electronics! And it’s incredibly refreshing!
As an environmentalist, I am fully aware of batteries’ dark side and being able to give new life to old batteries in incredible!
And the design includes “non-recyclable” plastics which is even better!!! I still don’t understand why can’t we melt & remould most of the plastic we throw out. So this is amazing.
But the best part was the customer service. My order was going to get delayed, so I asked if it can then be held while I went to work abroad. To which Gomi said “sure, no problem”. They checked back with me to make sure I was still away about a month before I was due home and then once I was home. My power pack arrived safely when it was supposed to in fully recyclable packaging and no plastic in sight (except for the recycled one used to make it).
And the design is gorgeous!!

Sustainable, useful and pretty. Does what it's supposed to do. It arrived beautifully boxed and not in plastic. A win for me.

I’m so pleased with my Gomi charger and it’s great to be able to support a small British company who are keen on recycling plastics and upcycling e-bike batteries for a new life.
The marbling design - I have Midnight - is great and the feel, look and function of the pack is spot on.
I initially ordered a pack that had some scratches on it so I asked to send it back. The Gomi team were really quick to reply and offer me a positive solution of replacement which I am pleased I did.
I had a free returns label so it could not have been easier.
The replacement battery pack came a day and a half later! That’s impressive customer service.

Incredible speaker, incredible customer service!

Nice looking unit but the marbling is not as sharp as pictured on the website plus it has some imperfections in the surface.

The power bank is heavy and feels substantial.

Love my Gomi powerbank! I can’t tell you exactly how many charges you get out of a fully charged Gomi as haven’t used it much yet. However, it does charge my phone very well and it seems to keep charging it for quite some time. The Gomi came with a universal USB-C cable which I haven’t used yet at as my I-phone is not a recent model.
It is more expensive than other brands, but I love the fact that it’s locally made, reusing e-bike batteries, recycled plastic and that I can send it in to be repaired, or for the batteries to be replaced if they were starting to fail. I also love that my favourite colour teal is included in one of their marble effect color mixes.
I ordered my Gomi fairly last minute as I needed a powerbank for a trip abroa. I left it until 3 working days before I was due to fly. The Gomi Team assured me that it would arrive on time and it did! Very friendly contact by the Gomi Team. I would definitely recommend this company and their product!

Working in the waste and recovery sector, I am always on the lookout for great sustainable products.
Especially great, sustainable products that are cool, effective and made in the UK.
My Gomi powerbank ticks all those boxes.
It's not just a great upcycled product. It's a great product.

I’ve had the power bank now for a couple of months and I can’t find anything to complain about. It provides at least 3 good charges for my iPhone pro and sometimes more and it can easily power up my iPad. It’s well made and robust and of course repairable. Being made in the uk is a big plus for me. Communication from the guys at Gomi was also top notch . Will be buying another one soon

Love love love this beautiful necessity. It was even ready charged. Great to buy something that is way better than anything else on the market.
