**UPDATE - The issue has been resolved and the breeder sent my deposit back. Unfortunately this experience has made me pause the puppy search and I likely won’t use Good Dog again. GOOD DOG RESPONDED AND I HAD TO FILL OUT A COMPLAINT FORM. I'LL FOLLOW UP WITH WHAT THE RESOLUTION IS**What started as something exciting for our family after losing our pup to a tumor has turned sour. Found a breeder Southern Love Cavapoos verified on Good Dog and after putting a deposit down the breeder has gone dark. I asked for videos that they promised and the breeder was unresponsive. Figuring this was only going one way I asked the breeder for a refund but of course received no response. I took my concerns to Good Dog customer care and haven’t heard from them either. I have an entire family sad for the loss of 2 dogs now. Steer clear!

Christy Smith is a WONDERFUL person to work with on getting a new puppy. She answered all our questions. We met for pick up as we live several states away. All paperwork, a small bag of food, and emergency supplies were provided. She emailed the next day just to make sure everyone was doing good.

Great experience. We have a wonderful new puppy.

Mireya with Mimi' Shih Tzu's was great! She answered all my questions, provided detailed and honest information and was very professional. I was skeptical at first using the Good Dog site, but I am glad I did. Mireya checked in on our drive home, and the week following bringing Aria/Goldy home. She is the sweetest puppy and you can tell that Mireya really took her time training her and giving her love.

Good Dog offered a great insurance plan and also followed up every step of the way. Between Good Dog and Mireya I could not be happier withe the support and knowledge they offered!

Good Dog made it easy to find and connect with breeders around our hometown.
Once we found our puppy the breeder suggested a video call so we can have a look at the puppy. This made me feel comfortable as you can get a first impression of the puppy and the breeder before actually buying.
The only downside in the process is more process wise. It wasn't clear how the steps are supposed to work, e.g. when to pay the reservation fee. It shows up once you get in touch with the breeder. Also I would have appreciated to see the fees ahead of time. Yes, there is the fine print about them but it would have been nice to see them within the price break-down. It wouldn't have hindered me from using Good Dog - just more transparency.

App easy to use. My breeder took the time to answer all of my questions which helped ease my anxiety as a first time puppy owner.Dallas has quickly become a member of our family.

I found the app easy to navigate. I knew basically which breed I was looking for and it allowed me find breeders by location and breed. I could also "window shop" without being pestered by sales people.

It took some time, but after I picked my Lucy, it was easy and comfortable, no complications.

Kristie at Virgin River Samoyeds was wonderful to work with. I got a beautiful male puppy from her. He is smart and a little sassy and I love him. The app was helpful and made payment arrangements easy, She also made the arrangements for his flight from Phoenix, Az to Portland Or so convenient. I cannot recommend her enough. If you are looking for a pup, try Kristie. She likes to keep in touch to share your puppy's progress.

Great breeder with HS Goldens and Staley Gardner. It is obvious Good Dog does their homework with the breeder. Valuable information available on their site as well.

Our breeder did a great job with communication and keeping us up to date with our puppy. Now that we have her home she has been an absolute blessing!

I enjoyed working with Good Dog. I’ve learned several helpful tips on selling puppies, caring for the babies and helping the mother stay healthy.
