Buyer Beware!
I returned a recently purchased pocketbook from one of Good-e-reader sister companies and have been getting a severe delay in any follow-up on the part of the sales team (my contact was Jana - horrible customer service) to obtain my refund. I received a confirmation of return delivery two weeks ago and when I try to follow-up on my refund. I get a copy/paste of the comment from the prior week (have to check with their "shipping dept"). At this stage I have not gotten any feedback as to whether I will ever get a refund and as a result will make it a point to ensure this horrible customer service makes itself known through my social media circles and to the broader e-book reader community at large.
We bought a nook reader from Good E reader (But the reader never arrived)
We bought a nook reader from goodereader.com the tablet never arrived at my home. They havent refund us the money and they say it's because DHL. After more than three months still no new information and of course , thay have not refunded us the Money.

On December 12, I bought a product with my credit card, but there is no tracking number yet. I send an e-mail to the site, they do not respond. The shipping time says 4-5 business days but there is no information for 3 weeks. Definitely do not shop, they are scammers

The item was delayed in shipping for three weeks but wasn’t informed until I contacted the store. I cancelled the shipment (I wanted to use it for some travelling I was going to do), got confirmation of cancellation and then they shipped it any way. I was tempted to send it back but couldn’t imagine the calamity that would involve, so I kept it but was really surprised how horrible the experience.

My experience with them was good, although at first I was worried because of the negative comments that I found here, as well as because the site turned into an advertising site after the purchase process, as well as the method of emails was not professional, in the end I received the product at an excellent time, you should be aware that what will receive you is the device in its Chinese version and not the international.

Ordered a pocketbook era and received tracking no. I then proceeded to track the order and when it arrived in destination country(thailand coming from china).
It stated the order was out for delivery. Never arrived and was never contacted. Kept checking tracking no. and saw that the item was now in Samut Sakhon which is nowhere near my address. Contacted good e reader by email about this problem but all they replied was check the tracking no. as the order is fulfilled. Continued to contact them but no help whatsoever and wouldn't forward any info about shipping Company which I wanted so i could try to do something my end.
Ordered in October 22nd now December 22nd .
Told them I wanted a full refund as never delivered which they could see from the tracking no. but no response
Also when now checking the tracking no. It states 'confirm destruction"
Will now make a complaint with PayPal regarding this fiasco so my advice is avoid like the plague.

Ils me proposent un autre produit sans frais supplémentaire et expédier immédiatement --> trop beau pour être vrai, 2 semaine plus tard, silence radio plus de nouvelles. ARNAQUE !!!

For 2 months, I've been sending emails only to find out that the product I ordered is no longer sold by the company. They propose another product at no extra cost and promise immediate shipment—>too good to be true. Two weeks later, complete radio silence, no updates. SCAM!!!
I will try to get a refund, but honestly, I have little hope. They are really dishonest and disrespectful.

I couldn't find a case for my Onix e-Reader Boox Page in Switzerland. Good e-Reader was able to deliver in a few days at a reasonable price and moderate shipping costs. I am very satisfied, thank you

On October 4I experienced a PayPal glitch and as I was attemp to place an order. It appeared to me that PayPal processing was stuck and the order was not being processed. I thought the order had not gone through, but instead 2 E reader book covers were ordered. I contacted the company within 12 hours, (the next morning for me) and tried to cancel the order that I did not believe had gone through. I received a reply back from someone in sales that my request would be transferred to billing. I subsequently received a reply that it was too late, the order had been shipped. My only recourse would be to refuse the package once received. I have refused the package so it is in transit back to Japan. Who knows if I will ever receive credit back for these unwanted purchases.
Really bad commerce experience
It has been over a month and a half and I still have heard nothing from Good e reader regarding my last order. I have reached out a few times, and been told things that have not proven true, specifically that my order is arriving this week. It’s Friday. I guess it could come today or tomorrow.
Untrustworthy, deceptive
They said they'd send the device between 3-5 days and it took over a month. I wanted to cancel and they said I could cancel any time but then they sent it anyway (a month late). Their customer service was atrocious. And they put their prices in USD despite being a Canadian based company, which was seriously misleading

I ordered a Glowlight 4 plus e-reader case in rose gold. I emailed Good e-reader on 10/6/23 to find out estimated shipping time. I was emailed response that Jana would notify shipping immediately to let me know tentative ETA. When I didn’t receive a reply I again sent an email and was given the exact same response as before-Jana would notify shipping to get back to me. I notified Jana that I was very unhappy with the service and poor communication. I was then emailed by someone by the name of Jon who told me they reached out to me to see if I could pick a different color. I never received that email. I decided to cancel my order and requested a refund. I received my refund quickly and was able to purchase the case and color I wanted for less money from a different company.
