Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 21 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant disappointment with the quality of the products, particularly pizzas, noting a decline from previous standards. Reviewers frequently described bases as resembling cardboard, spongy, or plasticky, and toppings were often found to be sparse, tasteless, or even sour. The overall taste was often criticized as bad, disgusting, or lacking flavor, with some even finding the smell unappetizing. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that some products, like a specific garlic bread or Margherita pizza, were excellent and tasty, with ample toppings.

I cannot understand why a company should destroy their brilliant product. I am talking about the thin crust magherita, now a much smaller spongy base that feels tad bit plasticky. If someone in Good... See more

What I hate most about goodfellas…

What I hate most about goodfellas pizzas, I’d the adverts on tv
Makes it out that’s it authentic Italian
Bloody things are made in Ireland and England!
There has to be a few afore mentioned Italian pizza makers, either spinning in their graves, or head in hands!!!!!!

Probably wouldn’t mind if the price reflected the product ( cheap)
It doesn’t.

Total shambles

Goodfellas Pizza Pockets

I recently purchased a box containing 2 Goodfellas Pizza Pockets from a branch of Co-Op in my village. I find it difficult to describe just how horrible these things are. The pizza base is akin to eating cardboard and the pepperoni filling is tasteless. Never again!

3 Strikes you're OUT!!!

Where to start?!?!
In Greater Cincinnati... Covington Kentucky is by far the best. Jordan ran it best!!..you need to GET HIM BACK come hell or high water!!! PAY your people their worth!!!
Everyone knows pizza and pasta are the highest profit items out there.
Get rid of the John Popper look a like pig, who is supposedly a "regional mgr"....I could be deaf and dumb and do a better job than than him!!!! I am Greek and been in F&B for almost 30 years.
OTR, shady AF!!. Bad food, bad staff, bad location, Police called to fights at location, yeah..NO!!!!
Lastly.....I understand needing to open a location, after almost 2 years of waiting...BUT...instead of piecemealing an opening due to construction, leasor and COVID, and in a panic for staff. You should have waited another month, with free pizza every day for a week, AFTER the entire staff was hired/trained....most real restaurants do that these days in order to make it work properly.....Again that pompous dude (John Popper look a like) should have been behind the counter working, not standing around.
I went the first 3 Fridays they were open. Yes I know busiest days...that's why I go to see if they can deal/handle it......NOT EVEN CLOSE, all three times!!! Consistency!!! both in food and STAFF, especially if you want return business....I am sure you have a training manual and the way things are to be done, but to go in 3 times doing the same thing and ZERO consistency, especially from staff....Like I said never be in a hurry to open, take the time to make it right every time.
MASKS MASKS MASKS...I'm sorry you are corporately in the land of Mitch McConnell, but the rules are the rules......MASKS!!! spacing.
Pizza by the slice should come second to ordered pies for carry out...not an hour 20 for a pick up.......prep of dough and in house by the slice need their own sandwich block and ovens, especially if you want this store to survive. I have not been back in for the last 3 fridays, because as a restaurant owner, 3 strikes and you are out!!!! Prove me wrong....make this store fly, not a bunch of incompetent behind the counter people and overzealous pie makers who can't find a groove and rhythm......After my last visit I drove to Covington KY to get pizza, 12 miles away, versus 2 miles away.

Tastes as good as it looks and that's not good.

Tastes as good as it looks and it looks like the crust on a slurry pit. Goodfellas meat feast has some meat but has lots of tomato, apart from in the middle where it has no topping at all. It came as a substitute from Morrisons and I wish I'd sent it back.

I have just had a horrible experience.…

I have just had the misfortune to eat Goodfellas Pizza pockets. They are truly awful/
The pocket was like eating cardboard. The filling(triple cheese) was also completely tasteless. I heated 2 but could not even finish the first one.
The whole experience was extremely disappointing.
Shan't be buying this product again

Just opened a Diavola

Just opened a Diavola, just two, two! tiny pieces of Jalapeno pepper on it.

The Diavola pizza is meant to be spicy, don't buy this garbage.

Not a good look...

Previously, I had no problems with this brand, but today, I heated up a Texas Beef Pizza in the microwave and was appalled to find, what looked like a chicken bone embedded into my pizza. Disgusting. I've taken a picture of my findings and I'll be more than happy to send this to the company if I can't post them here.

Cheese pizza not suitable for…

Cheese pizza not suitable for vegetarians!

I have always bought and eaten Goodfellas frozen pizzas with out any issues and trusted they were suitable for vegetarians.

Just opened a deliciously cheesy Goodfellas pizza with a suitable for vegetarians sign on it.

Opened it up and the pizza has a massive piece of chicken right in the middle of the pizza.

How can this be suitable for vegetarians? Don't understand how the pizza could have been cross contaminated in this way

Very disappointed.
