The absolute WORST

It's so sad to see a great company to go downhill like this.

First I subscribed to Goodiebox around summer 2024 after my boyfriend gifted me my first Goodiebox. I really liked the products and the price was super nice. I even got 2 boxes as a gift for my mom.

The first 4-5 boxes were amazing! Then in October I received another box. I was very dissatisfied... Usually they do a good job sending you products that you might be interested in because they make you pick your preferences etc, but this box was just horrible. Random cheap and horrible items. I sent an email explaining my dissatisfaction. A dry email response telling me that "they are so sorry that I didn't enjoy their products". Even the language felt so customer-shaming, like as if it was my fault not to like their amazing(!) products....

Anyways, I stopped my subscription immediately after this dismissive response.

My boyfriend didn't know this and he recently got me a new Goodiebox as a gift.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST! Not only the products are cheap and horrible, they sent me a USED AND FOUL SMELLING product.

The product's bottle is visibly used and torn off (the text on the bottle is washed off) and the product smells so sour, so foul in a way I can't describe... I know how expired cosmetics or makeup look or smell like but this is something more than expired - it is ROTTEN!

How could they send a such a horribly expired and used product to a customer? No human being would even dare to touch or use this rotten product on their own face, it smells extremely bad and rotten.
My boyfriend sent an email with pictures of the product and explained the situation.
Again - A VERY DRY RESPONSE and they offered to compensate for it with a mascara....

No, thank you. I don't want to receive another rotten product that will anger me and will end up me throwing into the trash.

I definitely don't recommend this scammy company. Go buy your own products and make your own box, this shitty over-priced "goodiebox" is NOT WORTH AT ALL!
